Fantastic Sunday lunch - all the meat was so tender, delicious veg and potatoes & cauliflower cheese as good as at home. Children had meals from the a la carte menu and again all plates clean. Friendly and attentive staff without being intrusive. A lovely overall experience:-)

Went for Sunday lunch today. Kash and his team were so professional and attentive. I have to say my family and I agreed that it was possibly the best Sunday dinner we have ever had . Will definitely be back. 5 🌟

Very disappointing visit today. We dropped in on a Saturday evening, expecting not to get a table. We were surprised to see plenty of empty tables and this should have been a red flag. We last visited here about 18 months ago, have been here several times prior to that and the food was fantastic, fresh and homemade. Unfortunately we cannot say the same today. The burger was tasteless, the chips no longer hand cut, onion rings and coleslaw definitely bought in. Lamb Koftas were tasty but more like shish kebabs. We both come away feeling full of grease and have had some undesirable side effects 😬We were reassured that it was the same Chef but that the restaurant had been taken over a month ago. If the Chef is the same I feel sorry for them because they are obviously not being given the freedom or quality products that they once had and deserve. Such a shame because this restaurant used to be amazing.

Popped in for a drink. Had to send both the Doom Bar and the Betty Bach back as they were like vinegar. I gather it has recently changed management.

We have used this pub many times in the past, however, on this occasion, despite the pub being quiet, service was slow. Drinks order was brought over one at a time. Food was average at best, and certainly not as good as previous experiences.

Called in for lunch on Sunday and we were not disappointed. The menu was varied, the restaurant was wonderfully decorated and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful and took care cleaning and laying the tables. I had the roast beef that was lovely and the cauliflower cheese was delicious.

I came to the Roebuck with my family on Friday 9 February for my husband’s 50th birthday. This was the first time we had been for a meal all the family due to having 4 young children we all thought this would be too much, however the staff made this a great experience. They put us in a lovely room and all our food was brought with no wait all piping hot and tasted great. We enjoyed it so much we came back the next day. Highly recommend this restaurant thank you for making my husband birthday so special.

Table for 10 people accommodated in an area which was warm, beautifully presented and exceeded our expectations. The staff were amazing, fun loving and attentive and even came and thanked us for the tip we had left them. The menu was varied and all available, served piping hot and excellent quality and presentation. I would highly recommend a visit and we will definitely be returning in 2024.

Great local pub with real treats on the menu. Had the special Liver mash mash and onion gravy delicious. Will be back as soon as possible.

Where do I start? The Roebuck was beautifully dressed up with christmas decorations, restaurant smelling lovely & festive with scented candles. We were greeted by welcoming bar staff. Smiles, helpful whilst getting us in the mood to kick off our festive month inc taking all secret santa gifts to keep it a surprise! Our table was beautifully decorated, spacious & good room temperature. We all had a pre ordered 3 course festive menu. And boy it did not disappoint. We all had different choices & served with no errors! The food was all hot, well portioned & not felt like we were being rushed! The food was gorgeous! Compliments to the chef & kitchen staff. Sarah our host just made our night! Great service, super bubbly (just like us girls), very helpful and totally made our girls night out. She makes a fabulous Mrs Claus delivering our secret santa gifts to the table! Can’t wait to come back again. Thank you Sarah & girls (think it was Mia & Emma) you were just fab 🤩 xxx

Went for Christmas meal with work friends . We had the Christmas set menu. It’s was absolutely delicious. Fantastic service . Didn’t have to wait long for each course . Fabulous Definitely recommend. Thank you

I’ve been to the Roebuck before and found it to be exceptional. No idea what happened when I visited on 04 June! The meal wasn’t good at all. Admittedly we were early and we’re the only ones in the restaurant. Picked the burger and the pork. Microwaved and completely tasteless. Sorry Roebuck, you let the side down this time!

Went twice in a couple of days because the food was so good. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Would 100% go again! Had the lasagne and pie of the day. Amazing

My 4 children have totally excelled themselves this evening by ordering a takeout from the Roebuck (Saturday night) - it was my mothers day gift... It was awesome... totally wonderful food. There was 6 of us - 3 lasagne with wonderful thick crispy chips, a fantastic salad, coleslaw and garlic bread, a beyond believable burger with sweet potato fries and onion rings and 2 crispy tempora sweet and sour chicken with rice. What can I say... anything I could say wouldn't do the meal justice - it was so beautifully presented in special boxes and containers to provide the meal in its restaurant style perfect condition - it was delicious. YOU HAVE TO TRY A TAKE OUT FROM THE ROEBUCK... it's brilliant. I can't rate it well enough. Well done to you for making our mothers day evening so incredible. Thank you Sarah and Adam and Rob - your superstars - keep up the great work providing us with some pre covid comforts and treats.

First time we had a takeaway from there, although we have often visited pre covid. As always absolutely stunning and can honestly say it's one of the best takeaways we've had. Every single part of the meal was delicious & should have took a photo before as there was nothing left at the end! I would highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed. From the initial call to the pick up was easy, pulled up outside and it was brought out to the car.

Just keep going back for hot beautifully cooked and served dishes even if in take away cartons. Fish and chips beats any of the local chippies and herself has the best scampi 3rd week in a row. On time service delivered to your vehicle

This is our second takeaway as we had amazing Sunday roast last week. Last night we had another excellent meal Scampi and Roebuck burger. Both delicious, beautifully presented, piping hot and whilst not far to travel, was just like eating in. Well done the team and we will definitely be back for more.

So over the moon that lovely Sarah & Adam have been offering take away food during this second lockdown. Our meal was AMAZING! Gorgeous crispy belly pork, absolutely piping hot and still beautifully presented, even in take away containers. We all deserve our little luxuries in these crazy times we are living in and this is definitely mine. The food is divine. Keep up the fantastic work guys. Hopefully not too long before we can actually sit in the restaurant again by the open fire, bliss.

Just ordered takeaway food for 6 for my sons 21st. Once again the Roebuck food and service does not disappoint. I had to travel 15 mins after collecting the food before getting home. Food was still hot by the time got home. Pork Belly is quite frankly outstanding. Keep going back as food is consistently yummy. Well worth a visit for takeaway food and a sit down meal once lockdown is over.

So pleased The Roebuck are offering takeaway service as their food is always good. Takeaway was efficiently and safely handled and the food up to the usual high standard.

My Husband and I were so pleased to find out that the lovely Sarah and her team were going to offer a takeaway service during the second lockdown and we ordered our first one tonight ( Friday 6th November ). We had vegetarian nachos to start followed by two fish and chip meals and we were not disappointed !!!. The quality of the food was as good as when we eat in the restaurant. It was packaged perfectly so that the food was not spoilt and it was hot. What a relief to know that whilst we are not able to eat in their beautiful restaurant, we can still enjoy their wonderful, first class food

Booked when we heard about lockdown as my Birthday fell in November. Went on a Sunday evening. Yet again superb food and friendly service. We all had different meals and were all top quality I can't give them enough praise it was all top class.

We haven’t had a meal out for ages but the Roebuck did not disappoint. They were very careful to comply with COVID rules. The food was excellent and the service friendly and prompt.

The Roebuck has recently re-opened following an extensive refurbishment - you won't be disappointed and you must visit! Sarah (hostess with the mostess) and her friendly team will make you feel more than welcome upon arrival. Covid procedures are perfectly in place with temperature checks taken on the door. I have eaten here for lunch and dinner and cannot fault the food, the service and the ambience, not forgetting the roaring fire. This pub is definitely worth a visit make sure you book and visit soon.

My wife and I had a wonderful meal for the second time in two weeks at this fabulous pub/restaurant on Saturday, 10th October. We bought my Mother in law and she has not stopped talking about it ever since. The staff made her feel so special and they are all so friendly and attentive. We were served by a charming young man called Anton and were surprised to hear that it was his first night. The food was amazing and we will all be returning for a third time for Sunday lunch in the next couple of weeks. Thank you so much to everyone at The Roebuck, you are all amazing.

This stunning restaurant pulled out all the stops for me and my family to safely reunite after what seemed like an eternity. Miserable Sunday weather was turned into the cosiest of atmospheres through the warmth of family, faultless food, staff service and a fire.It’s been a while since we have been out for dinner and now I’m counting down to my next visit here. My love of this restaurant has only been enhanced. The food and service was outstanding - as is the new decor!!!From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much to all the staff for making our time here such a memorable one. We can’t wait to come back. Xx

Visited The Roebuck yesterday evening and was delighted with the service and cosy atmosphere. With the fire burning and the friendly staff, it really was a pleasant evening. The bar snacks were divine too. We will definitely be visiting again for dinner very soon. Perfect for friends and families. Would absolutely recommend. 10/10

We went to The Roebuck Saturday night 2and October for a couple of drinks to catch up with my sister. We ordered a couple of bar snacks too which were delicious. Nice relaxed atmosphere, service was incredible and we will definitely recommend and return ourselves. Thanks for a lovely time. Xx

After the long wait, we had a meal at the Roebuck last night and it was excellent, we felt safe in these somewhat worrying times, no effort was spared in making us feel that way. Best of all was that the food was every bit as good as it has been , if not better, smaller menu but good choices and excellent and attentive service. Please, if you want a superb meal at reasonable prices in a safe environment, support the Roebuck.

Went there on Sunday sat outside waited 20 minutes for drinks to be ordered then told could only take cash. Drinks came followed by food couldn’t fault food but then had to go inside to pay after waiting 20 minutes for bill was offered free drink but as driving wasn’t able to take it. Shame spoilt a nice time.

Booked a table at The Roebuck for Sunday lunch, well what can I say it was faultless, the food was absolutely gorgeous, the staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. The whole place has been refurbished to a very high standard and looks amazing. Thank you so much for a lovely end to our weekend and for adding a little bit of a normal for us.

After a few months closed, the refurbishment is complete and it looks lovely. Same excellent service as before from the team. Management of Covid is superb felt very safe bringing our young family for lunch. Also best chicken wings I’ve ever had.

Popped in for a quiet drink this afternoon and felt so comfortable and impressed with COVID procedures. Although we hadn’t booked, this wasn’t a problem for a table in the bar area, temperature checked upon entry and table service throughout. The refurbishment is beautiful!! Always loved this pub but it’s even more beautiful after the refurb! Looking forward to our dinner visit on Tuesday even more now!!

We had a fantastic meal here on a Sunday evening. The staff were lovely, the Covid-19 guidelines were followed to a tee, and we had the most delicious Sunday roast i’ve had in a long time. Would highly recommend!

This pub/restaurant is perfect for any occasion. My Husband and I came for an early evening meal with our little dog Millie on Friday 25th September during the Covid madness and it gets a MASSIVE THUMBS UP !!!!!!!. Our temperatures were taken after walking through the door and then we were lead to our table in the snug because we had our little dog.We ordered our drinks and the food. The starters of Soup and vegetarian Nachos were wonderful, each extremely tasty. Then our mains arrived, battered fish, one with mash and the other with chips. OMG what a delight they were. The fish was crispy and succulent and chips were crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. After having been to a number of pub restaurants over the past few months, the food at the Roebuck is by far the best !!!. The staff were so lovely and thoughtful and even bought me a heater because I was a bit cold. Don’t think about whether to book a meal - do it and you won’t be disappointed at all and we are looking forward to coming back next week.

We have just been to the Roebuck with my elderly parents for the first time since March. The whole place has been refurbished and looks lovely. We felt very safe from the moment we arrived, everyone has their temperature taken and hand gel point at the door. The same excellent service and the food was great as always - it was so nice to be back!! Thank you to Sarah, Adam and team we will be back soon and encourage everyone to get back and support them.

Our whole dining experience at The Roebuck was just perfect. The food, rib-eye steaks, fillet steak and Duck Ragu and a child’s pepperoni pizza were all delicious and so well presented. Even the child’s pizza looked amazing and (considering the child isn’t normally a big eater) was well on its way to be finished. All the steaks were cooked as requested and served with fluffy, crispy chips, delicious field mushrooms, garden peas, grilled tomatoes and huge onion rings! Two people were brave enough to have the Habanero sauce too! Duck Ragu was said to be very flavoursome. Deserts were equally as tasty. We all said the same...delicious, well presented food. Served without a lot of fuss, just very friendly efficient staff. Thank you The Roebuck.

Nice friendly staff and really good menu. We didn’t have a starter or dessert due to lack of time. The side dishes were fabulous but I was just a little disappointed with the “chicken supreme” that was small and didn’t have a sauce with it so the dish was a little dry. The pie constituted of just a single piece of pastry placed on the top of the filling, so that was a little disappointing too but the filling I heard, tasted good, but not a huge amount of it. Despite a little disappointment we still enjoyed our meal and will be back.

Me and the mother in law had the Sunday lunch so lovely and lots of it .my husband had steak and ale pie which was excellent until he found mushrooms in it ,so lucky he isn't allergic he just doesn't like them really need to take more care in the kitchen ..would return though lovely place and great service

Came across this place by chance and decided on having Sunday lunch. As soon as we entered the bar we were made to feel welcome and found a table although we had not booked.The bar area was busy with family's enjoying there lunch and we were taken to the conservatory, we had the room to ourselves but despite this it was warm a cosy. Although we were tucked away in the conservatory we were not forgotten by any of the staff, service was first class.We decided to skip starters and go straight for the main course - slow roast pork- we were not disappointed. Plenty of very tender meat that was not too fatty, topped off with wonderful crackling, accompanied by a total of 6 vegetables (including cauliflower cheese) plus roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding.It was a struggle but we both managed to clear our plates, obviously a dessert was not required!!Top quality freshly cooked food, with service to match. Worth every penny.

Took my elderly sister here a couple of times recently for lunch. Good food well cooked, service was a little slow at times.

After a very long drive from Bristol back to Evesham I decided to find a nice pub for lunch, I was presently surprised to find a very nice looking pub! The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you! The food was very good and came very quickly! I couldn’t fault the food except I had too much of it ! The burger that I have was moist and full of flavour ! 5* pub would definitely recommend ! Thanks a lot guys !

Called in here last night for a meal. Given a warm welcome by very pleasant staff. Good choice of real ales. My wife chose the salmon fillet with risotto,while I went for the lamb rump served on a potato mash with broccoli,and a delightful gravy. We both really enjoyed our meals with no room for a sweet. For good food look no further than here.

The food was excellent I had the tempura sweet and sour chicken it was very hot and plentiful. My husband had the steak and ale pie which was overflowing With meat and tasty gravy.

I have did consider not leaving this review but the experience was so bad that I feel I should express my unhappiness.

I visited last Wednesday with my wife and kids without booking hoping on the off chance they could fit us in and luckily the staff could. All of the staff that working were very kind and friendly towards my whole family. The atmosphere was very relaxing and calm in a nicely laid out restaurant. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken, my wife ordered the sea bass special and my two sons ordered the duck ragu and the american burger; which was huge by the way! We all loved our meals and had deserts afterwards which were also delightful. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal and a full stomach at the end!!

We recently went to the Roebuck for a family meal.

Wonderful food last Sunday. All five meals were good, the roast with lots of vegetables, the chunky chips with the gammon, the salmon and pea risotto was the best my cousin had ever had! Attentive staff and dog friendly. Brilliant!

Called in without booking, we were made very welcome. This is a very clean and quirky pub, that dates back hundreds of years and is full of character. The food was excellent and the staff attentive and friendly. My wife and I would highly recommend it.

While driving from the Shrewsbury area back to Kent we needed a spot of lunch and The Roebuck fitted the bill perfectly, as it was only a very short detour off our route. We shared a bacon and brie baguette with some salad, onion marmalade and fries in the very pleasant restaurant. The food was tasty and exactly what it said on the tin - we enjoyed our brief stop. The girls serving were very pleasant as well. A nice place!

Came back again and to my delight it was as good as before. I had a chicken burger (unable to recall the name) with all the regular burger ingredients and it was delicious. The texture was great and it filled me up nicely! The staff was nice and attentive, which means this is still the best place in the area.

My partners and I regularly eat here. But, this was the first time we had Sunday lunch. We both had the slow roasted pork shoulder, with all the trimmings. This was hands down the best roast I have ever eaten! 5* Sunday lunch.

Visited last weekend with my partner and his parents for a birthday celebration.

Came for Sunday dinner and had one of the best roast dinners I have had in my life. Lots of food, which is brilliant, and the beef was lovely and practically melting in my mouth. My brother had a pizza and although it was slightly messy, said it tasted like Italy. Staff was really good and attentive to our needs.

My partner and I came here last Saturday afternoon. We both had the Salmon Fillet risotto. The food was exceptional. The service, exemplary. Highly recommend.

Stopped off here on way back from working in Nottingham. Asked the waitress for the Gluten Free menu and she referred me to the Chef...who took the time to explain each meal I could choose off the menu that he could make GF. So I opted for the sweet and sour chicken! I’ve not eaten this meal out in over three years and it was well worth the wait. A fantastic tasty meal for my GF palette. Highly recommend this place although may I suggest, albeit a nice personal touch to meet the Chef, that you print up some GF menu’s for ease in your busy periods. Thumbs up Roebuck

The Roebuck is one of the best places to enjoy some good quality, locally sourced foods fit for any occasion. I have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. The menu is extensive with a great choice of light bites and baguettes as well as an delightful full menu which is always served.

We took our business friends their for a relaxed casual dinner. It was disappointing, down to menu choice and portion size. I have always admired they do encourage a young team of staff, as everyone needs an opportunity. But the food was sadly presented on the plate, and it was missing the taste, had previously experienced in The Roebuck. I know the menu changes are to be expected, but usually that is to improve what's on offer, not the opposite.

Been here a few times and leave wondering why. It promises more than it delivers in my opinion. Wont be rushing back....

This place was very quiet when we visited on Friday, it was very odd but possibly as it was the weekend before most peoples pay day.

We had a delicious 3 course meal in a very pleasant pub, served by friendly staff. There was an open fire and the food was homecooked.

Had an excellent meal here tonight. Crab and prawn pasta and ribeye steak. Staff very attentive. A little expensive but worth it.

Stopped by in the early evening and luckily for us there was a table available. The staff were very friendly and took our order quickly and very shortly after two delicious steaks meals arrived at our table. Absolutely piping hot and cooked perfectly to order, crispy chips, a good handful of roasted cherry tomatoes, huge tasty mushrooms and onion rings. My partner had the habanero sauce which by the look of his face had quite a fiery kick. We were absolutely full so I think for possibly the first time we didn’t have a pudding - next time though!

The Roebuck has become our regular go to restaurant. I don't usually have a starter but my husband has enjoyed different ones. I often have their tempura chicken Chinese style with rice and its better than the local Chinese take-always!

Called in for late lunch . Absolutely delightful engaging waitress. It was 3pm - she had issues with the gas for beer etc but was so welcoming. The food was delicious- husband loved the devilled kidneys and my whitebait was better than Tom Kerridge “Hand and Flowers. Wish I lived closer

Went for Sunday lunch and was disappointed with how cold the restaurant was and when ordering although early the choice of meat for Sunday lunch was limited to Beef or Lamb,I chose the Beef and have to say most of it stayed on the plate as was unable to cut it , the staff are very pleasant and attentive Pity the meal wasn’t enjoyable due to extremely tuff Beef

6th April party of 12 Sarah & Adam & staff accommodated us exceptionally well with table layout, service , food the evening was brilliant cannot fault anything.Will return in the future.

Originally booked at another local pub but decided to go to the roebuck instead. It was nice and quiet (noise not people) and we'd not been for a long time. We were really very happy with our food and the service. Good sized portions & the onion rings are amazing. Already recommended the place to my parents & we'll defo return back.

I love the roebuck the choices on the menu are endless. Every time I so want to have exactly what I had last time as it was delicious but there’s so much more to try.

On a day trip with my two children, we called in for a late lunch during half term. Two of us had burgers and one had sausage and chips. All the food was scrumptious and the children's portions were just the right size. Service was impeccable, Sarah made us feel very welcome and made sure everything was ok without being overbearing. Caught sight of the head chef and managed to thank him for the lovely food. He was also very welcoming and has a tremendous sense of humour! I love passing through Alcester when I'm hungry, I know for sure where there's always great food and a warm welcome.

After visiting a local animal farm we were looking for somewhere to eat close by and what better way to find a nice place than to use Tripadvisor.

Phoned on the off chance and they had a table for two, thank goodness! The staff were very friendly and took our order very quickly and shortly after two delicious steaks meals arrived at our table. Absolutely piping hot and cooked perfectly to order, crispy chips and very tasty mushrooms and onion rings. My partner had the habanero sauce which by the look of his face was quite fiery! Equally delicious apple crumble and custard for our pudding. Excellent meal and super staff too.

Having had a day out in the Studley area, 17 ladies from the Nuneaton Flower Guild arrived at the Roebuck for a meal. We found the staff very welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Stopped off by chance on our way back home from a hectic family Christmas shop in Cheltenham. We were immediately greeted by the very friendly bar staff and a warm and cosy fire - just what I needed!!
