Just brilliant, lovely village pub feel with great food

Visited in February so it was fairly quiet. There was a real fire and a warm welcome. We didn't eat but the menu looked good and the beer was lovely! Great service in a friendly atmosphere. The place was quite small so I would recommend booking a table if you want to eat there. There is also a covered area outside.

We dropped by for dinner last night and were greeted by the lovely staff. Great food, great conversation and the pet were the icing on thed cake. Absolutely brilliant.

We didn’t stay over as we are quite local. Amazing village pub unlike any other village pub. Great food and drinks at good prices but loads of stuff going on as well including live music on Thursdays (which is when we went). This place is an absolute gem.

Reopens next year after renavation

It’s been a while since we were here and it’s changed a lot. It’s still a good pub to stop at during a long walk but the food has taken a bit of a dive. I had a £27 rump steak which was very ordinary indeed and overpriced for what it was. Gnocchi was similarly dull and overpriced. We’ll probably go back but only for a pint and a packet of crisps.

Good location, no issues with parking, lovely atmosphere, great service and incredible food. A+++ 👍

This was a great place for a reasonably priced lunch. The food was plentiful and the staff were very friendly. I'll be back next time I visit Dartmouth.

We went to Bushells for my mums special birthday. From the time of booking Sarah was amazing, nothing was to much trouble and always replied promptly. We were a large party and basically took over the restaurant, no hassle with booking which you sometimes get when you are a large party. Food was delicious, service excellent and the views are amazing. They catered for one coeliac with no trouble at all. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Bushells for making it a very special evening!

There are so many positive things I want to say about Twenty Seven, it's hard to fit them all into a short review. The atmosphere , the service and the food are all unparalleled. Each dish had an expertly balanced brew of flavours that represent a refinement of food years in the making. Clean, elegantly plated courses making it a food experience worth travelling for, and a must if your visiting Devon.

It was excellent with everything

Surrounded by many beautiful walks and serving what looked like an a-grade roast this pub is the perfect stop after a Sunday walk. The staff are knowledgeable and accommodating and the atmosphere is pure quality west country pub. Can't ask for more.

Popped in for a lunch on way to Exeter. Plenty of parking. Wholesome food.

First time we been here. We had a set carvery, meat was super soft & tasty. The vegetables between 2 people were a let down. Cauliflower cheese didn't taste cheesy, it was very bland. The gammon was tough, & the turkey was tasteless. Staff were super friendly & very helpful. I would like to try there other meals on the menu. The car park was a let down, as only 2 spaces left, which wasn't big enough for a car. But overall it was a nice, clean pub, with many choices.
