Busy Greene King pub right on the front. It was a sunny ‘Mothers Day’, crowds converged on Beer, the pub was packed. Our table was for 7:00pm, the staff remained friendly enough given a tough day and the food acceptable, plates dropped in front of you + no effort to open the wine. The pub itself is tired and overall the experience was average.

Lovely pub in a beautiful seaside village amazing views on the beach clam and relaxing. Food was delicious and tasty ordered two meals that was fish and chips with peas and lasagna with grill bread and side salad. Service was excellent and professional a warm and a happy environment. I would highly recommend and will come back again when next visiting.

We went for a family dinner . When we arrived we were seated downstairs and it was less than half full. We joined the queue to order our drinks and food as it’s not table service. One person behind the bar doing this and quite a lengthy queue. Order was placed with the member of staff who was very pleasant . It was a very warm day and there was no windows or doors open also no air conditioning on . There was dance music on very loud which made it very difficult to hear when we were talking . Food arrived and was lovely . We waited for over 30 mins after we had eaten and I had to ask for our table to be cleared as we wanted to order desserts. Again we joined the queue to order. We waited for a long time and in the end I had to ask if they could chase the desserts up . Overall food was good but the place was greatly understaffed on a sunny Saturday even when it wasn’t more than half full. I felt sorry for the staff as it was obvious they were under a lot of pressure to keep things running however it definitely reflected the service aspect and it would make me hesitant to return .

This was our first visit to Lyme Regis and after having a little look around we were all getting a little hungry so we decided to stop off at Jane's Cafe on the parade. There were five of us and we all shared two boxes of cheesy chips together, I can't comment on the drinks that the others had but the cheesy chips were very nice. Good position sizes although could have been a little bigger but the chips were nice and there was plenty of grated cheese on top - I expect it would have been even better if it was melted slightly! There were plenty of places to sit and eat with nice views over the beach. The only negative comment from a family member was that the staff were a little slow serving the drinks but the food was ready pretty quickly and it was hot which was the main thing! A good little place to stop for a quick drink and something to eat.....

Quite a while ago we did go there and the service and cakes were just all right. Back again to that place, which is called now The Wild Flower Cafe, we were amazed by the soups and quiche quality! Cool presentation too! Previously, my wife and I trained in Catering (France/UK) and worked in great places as well as Private Service (USA included) for twelve years, we know about quality. The service was very friendly and superb. Pot if tea for two generous too. A perfect 10 this time! What a holistic treat for the soul! Merci...
