The Cadgwith Cove Inn was a regular spot for us to eat and drink in whilst on holiday in the cove. We always received a warm welcome and superb food, all washed nicely down with a few pints of Korev. To top it off, we were entertained by the talent of local singers, musicians and fishermen and women on Tuesday night’s folk night and Friday night’s sea shanties. Overall an amazing pub with a real community feel and where we were made most welcome by Garry, Helen, Nathan and the team.

Beautiful location ,food good one of our friends ( who cannot walk very well following a stroke) requested where the toilet was ? Stern reply we don’t have one nearest is a car park 200 yards away ,we then noticed a sign advising no toilet or wash facilities available . How can you legally operate a cafe without, such a pity.

We were pleasantly surprised by this place! Every other place in town was closed, and we were initially not convinced by the look of the place, but we were wrong to judge - the food was delicious! The BLTA was the best sandwich I have had in a long time, and everyone else was very happy with their order!

Been coming here, whilst on holiday in the area, over several years. Standard of food and service improving all the time. This time it seems as though there’s been a big improvement since our last visit in August 2022. Staff very friendly, very helpful and very experienced professionals. Food was excellent; I had monkfish Katsu curry which was beautifully cooked and presented - tasted fantastic! My wife had fish & chips - beautiful fresh & white fish with dainty fries and a fresh pea purée. We followed this with sherry trifle and a soufflé - stunning desserts, again beautifully prepared and presented. We selected a gorgeous bottle of French Viognier to go with our meal - great to see Viognier on the wine list! You can probably tell that we really enjoyed this visit to one of our favourite restaurants. We thoroughly recommend this place for dinner and we will visit again when we’re next in Mullion.

Great breakfast and tea all cooked fresh from the local farm butchery great local bread(toasted) too. Would have preferred a fried egg rather than the egg muffin(which was very good) to dip my toast in but hey ho still all really good. Its in a big high roofed unheated barn so could be cold coming into winter. Will call again.

I really hate leaving negative comments on things but this curry was really average. I agree with other comments noting it's bland and the nanny bread being shop bought, the chicken was not like a classic tikka, it almost seemed boiled. The rice was a bit dry. We are staying nearby and got this as a treat, wouldn't recommend.

Honestly just meh. Thought we would treat ourselves to fish and chips from here for our last night in Cornwall and it really wasn’t worth it. The price is extremely expensive for what it is. I didn’t find the atmosphere welcoming. You can definitely tell they favour the locals. There was one person in front of me, once I ordered a further 5/6 people came in and somehow even though we basically ordered the same as everyone else they all got their orders first. We finally got ours when we were the last ones there. When we got the food my partner said the sausage was disgusting, and the fish batter was incredibly oily and yet the fish itself was very dry… not sure how that happened. Personally do not recommend, if you can definitely go to the lizard much better quality.

We found out today our favourite and usual go to dog friendly restaurant has decided to become very do UN-friendly, so we had to scramble around to find somewhere to go tonight. My wife found the terrace online and we were able to book in at short notice. First impressions were that the outside looked nice, if a bit Fawlty Towerish, but there was a very friendly member of staff on reception and we were shown straight into the dining area, past some happy people having some pre dinner drinks. Restaurant area was, well, rustic, but the view was absolutely spectacular. We were looking out to sea and I was able to see the lighthouse at the lizard which is always a lovely sight. We were more than happy with this and the dogs quickly settled down. The thing that really earned the five star rating though was the food. I had the market fish of the day and my wife the seafood chowder. Both were incredible and considering the quality of them, they were reasonably priced too. Whenever there is an affogato on the menu my wife's eyes light up and I was tempted woth the cheese board. Again both were lovely and all of the staff were attentive, helpful and friendly. Our bill was just under eighty pounds (without drinks, we just had water) and we were very happy to pay that for such good quality food. One slight downside was there was a bit of a draft which meant I had to wrap my twelve year old pooch in my cardigan to keep him warm, but all in all I would recommend to anyone. We are booked in for Sunday lunch now too and are hoping that is just as impressive!!

We were so impressed with our meal during our stay at The Polurrian on the Lizard. We had the mussels to start which were delicious and the main course blew us away - Trout, samphire and potato, all cooked to perfection. The Scottish gentleman that served us during our meal was so friendly and the service was great throughout the evening.
