Beautiful location ,food good one of our friends ( who cannot walk very well following a stroke) requested where the toilet was ? Stern reply we don’t have one nearest is a car park 200 yards away ,we then noticed a sign advising no toilet or wash facilities available . How can you legally operate a cafe without, such a pity.

A lovely friendly cafe in a truly stunning location. Pasty was a little expensive, but probably one of the best I’ve had. My wife had a cheese and tomato toasty, which was not to be faulted! Service was quick and friendly. I’d have loved to have given a 5 star review, but sadly the krypton factor recyclable paper cups let them place down - I actually had to go and ask how to drink out of it! 🤣🤣 Beautiful place, but please rethink your coffee cups!

Went there on a very misty day in August . Beach still looked cool even with the tide in (we’ve been lucky enough to see it in great weather too ) The cafe itself was overpriced and bang average ! Small scone for cream tea . Almost £7 for a pastie etc . Liked that everything was recyclable though . They seem to rely on their popular location rather than produce any decent cafe food. Wouldn’t eat here again but visit the beach for sure .

Walked from Lizard Point Lighthouse along the coastal path to Kynance Cove. Took about 50 mins at a leisurely pace. The path is quite steep in places with lots of steps. Arrived at the Cafe at Kynance cove not long after it opened, and ordered to bacon and egg rolls and 2 flat white. The breakfast bap was great, the coffee tasted good but trying to drink out of their sustainable cardboard folding cups was not an easy experience. Toilets behind the cafe. Took the gravel track back up towards the car park, and rejoined the coastal path.

We had a fantastic morning sat on deckchairs enjoying the view and eating and drinking. The food and drink were lovely and reasonably priced. We enjoyed our morning so much that we started with coffee and cake and continued into lunch. How lovely that the owners put our deckchairs for all to enjoy the spectacular view. I recommend the lemon cake and the sandwiches were made with lovely fresh bread. If we lived nearby it would be regular cafe for us. Thank you, one of the best cafes in Cornwall.

Beautiful Kynance Cove has a cafe worthy of it! Lovely, eco-friendly, serving delicious food/beverages for all. The cakes are just delicious! However, most importantly, the staff are so helpful and caring. My husband became quite poorly whilst we were walking, and having stopped there, he couldn’t continue. We had so much help, in particular from the owner manager Luke, who phoned a local taxi company to take us back to our campsite. We returned to our walk a few days later, starting at Kynance Cove, and had the opportunity to thank him for his help. Such a nice guy - was just pleased that my husband had recovered and we could continue on the SWCP. “Being able to help each other is what it’s all about “, he said 💕

I have visited this place out of season in very atmospheric conditions with huge swell and waves, this time sun, warmth and relatively calm seas for this location. Really wanted to give this establishment a better score. We visited last year and all seemed great, but sadly this year was not so good. After walking the 4 ½ miles that turned out to be 5 ¼ miles from Mullion Cove, our group were looking forward to a pasty, but they had sadly sold out. My second choice was a bacon, Brie and cranberry baguette, but sadly it wasn’t very good, as the Brie was hardly cooked.Considering it’s so early in the season, and with the chance so many more people will be visiting this year, I feel more planning needs to be done. Maybe a call to the Cornish Oven in Helston maybe a good shout.

I rang the cafe to explain and said I’d noticed a white transit van driving down a road to it but the r oh ad was behind a locked gate so wondered if we booked could we bring the car down, I was very disappointed with the lady on the phones response, that road is for us and our suppliers and I’d have to ring the national trust to get permission to drive down the road, I explained it was back holiday weekend and I was floored by her response ... well if you can’t ring then you can’t use the road and come to the cafe and she hung up Disabled customers aren’t welcome

My husband and I and 2 children; 16 and 9 years walked from Lizard Point to Kynance Cove. You cn drive there and park in the car park at the top but be warned it fills up quickly. The 2.5 mile walk was well worth it. When you arrive, you have alot of steps to go down to get to the Cove. When you get down, you need to walk across the large beach pebbles/stones so make sure you are wearing a sturdy pair of shoes. The cafe is a welcome stop at the end of the walk down. We had a Roskilly's ice cream at on eo fthe picnic benches. It does get busy so grab a bench if you can upon arrival. There are toilets behind the cafe. The cafe recycle and ask that you don't eat your own food at their benches. We Googled the tide times but Google was wrong. The staff in the cafe had their own timetable which was great! It was high tide when we got there. To realise the true beauty, you benefit from seeing High AND Low tide. We decided to walk back to Lizard, pick the car up and drive back to the Kynance car park in time for low tide. It was truly breathtaking. We did head back to the car in the dark and got some beautiful photos of the beach at sunset. A must if you visit Cornwall.

Arrived at 3.20 at cafe decided to order pasties & ham sandwich. We were told that the ovens had been switched off. They were not doing food , so asked if we could have a ham sandwich, the answer was no they closed at 4pm they weren't doing food . So we asked if we could have cold pasties they said yes , i payed for 4 pasties one to go when we had eaten ours so we suggested to microwave them , the answer was no they would take to long & not be very good & soggy ! We asked again , the girl asked the kitchen staff to cook them in the microwave , they agreed. The she said we have only 3 steak pasties because one was reserved but they had a cheese one . So we agreed again. The were ready in a couple to five minutes. But still not offered a replacement for the ham sandwich or apology £5.70 each for the pasties. So they could have missed out on a good taking potentially! Pasties tasted fine & looked ok ! As we said possibly the owners weren't present & unaware of the consequences. Will again next year !!!!!

Sorry but didnt get to the cafe. I dont know if there's an easier way but we walked down the hill and then saw at the end of the steps was lots of big stones and rocks to walk over to get to the cafe and my daughter didnt have good enough shoes and was worried of harming herself. But the experience there was lovely

Came down with Liz, Andrew and Iz for a cuppa and was not disappointed. It was high tide and the wind was up so the waves were crashing and the spray was blowing. Very dramatic and a great place for a delicious cup of coffee which tasted better than any pretentious high street branded coffee that comes at twice the price.

Popped in here for a cream tea, deliciously warm scones with jam and clotted cream, a real treat. Very reasonably priced. The staff were lovely, very friendly, would definitely recommend.

The ice creams here are beautiful! Really generous portions and are very well presented. The customer service we received was outstanding, my daughter had a massive meltdown (ASD) and they were nothing but supportive, understanding and helpful. We'd had a very tough day today with meltdowns galore and this one was by far the worst of the day yet I never felt alone or judged. People like you make the biggest difference and I am so very grateful for you going out of your way to help and care. Thank you x
