Been coming here, whilst on holiday in the area, over several years. Standard of food and service improving all the time. This time it seems as though there’s been a big improvement since our last visit in August 2022. Staff very friendly, very helpful and very experienced professionals. Food was excellent; I had monkfish Katsu curry which was beautifully cooked and presented - tasted fantastic! My wife had fish & chips - beautiful fresh & white fish with dainty fries and a fresh pea purée. We followed this with sherry trifle and a soufflé - stunning desserts, again beautifully prepared and presented. We selected a gorgeous bottle of French Viognier to go with our meal - great to see Viognier on the wine list! You can probably tell that we really enjoyed this visit to one of our favourite restaurants. We thoroughly recommend this place for dinner and we will visit again when we’re next in Mullion.

After a glorious week in the one of the apartments in Mullion Cove managed by the Mullion Cove hotel we fancied a good breakfast. As we had really enjoyed the bar area for drinks and coffee during the week we chose the Glenvervie Bar and so glad we did. With the beautiful views and stylish surroundings its an ideal place for breakfast lunch and dinners. It is dog friendly and the staff are fantastic. Efficient ,helpful ,interested and friendly. Nothing was too much bother. The atmosphere was chic yet relaxed. The food was well cooked, tasty and not at all greasy I had the full english and my wife had scrambled eggs ,well done bacon on toast both were excellent. Breakfast came with many hot & cold courses but our cooked meal filled us up.

As per our review for the Mullion Cove Spa Efficient, pleasant, friendly, staff. Well turned out, helpful & chatty. Service exactly as it should be. Food was well presented, tasty and good portions. Lots of well needed iced water, (very necessary after a spa day), comfy seating, lovely, clean furnishings and stunning window dressings. I could have sat their all evening. We had the beetroot salad with goat's cheese mousse to start with a minute steak & falafel burger plus a side of very delicious vegetables Niggle - barely. We were not asked how we preferred our steak cooked initially and so it arrived underdone for our taste, but this was immediately corrected within less than 2 minutes, so made little impact on our dining experience timings. (Nothing worse than one person not eating while the others are) certainly would not put us off returning for future dining.

We visited a few times during our stay, and were made to feel very welcome by James, the only downside is that James left for his new job in France so he will not be there next time!

Comfortable venue with lovely views of the sea, we enjoyed drinks in the bar, varied bar meal/snacks available although prices for everything can be expensive compared to local inns, think 20/25% higher.

We went around for a few cocktails and were initially disappointed with the choice. However, when we asked if we could have something off menu - a good mixologist who was doubling up as Maitre D took time out to make our cocktails. He was very engaging and it was nice to talk to someone who knew their job and I got the impression he was pleased to show off his skills to us.

Reserved a table for a Monday evening. Glad we did because the restaurant was busy when we arrived. We’ve eaten here before so we’re hoping for good things as before. We started with crab cake which was pleasant but unremarkable and mackerel pate which was very tasty. This was followed by catch of the day - the freshest tastiest sea bream you could wish for; just beautiful. My wife had the crispy pork belly burger. Not very crispy but very, very tasty and came with six of the biggest, crispiest, fluffy hand cut chips you’ve seen. We chose a bottle of 2016 Bacchus from the Polgoon winery in Penzance- delicious but rather expensive due to massive 100% Hotel mark-up on the bottle price! An enjoyable dinner in a nice restaurant that could do with a bit more atmosphere. Would we recommend eating here - yes and I’m sure we will eat here again next time we’re in this part of Cornwall.

We called in for coffee whilst walking the coastal path and were so impressed with the coffee that we booked to come back a few days later for a full, traditional afternoon tea. The crowning glory was that they do a gluten-free afternoon tea as well as a regular one, and they were both excellent. (Sometimes the GF one is a poor relation but not here). The views from most public rooms are beautiful so all in all we had a lovely afternoon. Just wish we could have gone back another day for dinner !

Good range of food ranging from snacks to meals. Also good that they stock Cornish gins, including the local one distilled in Mullion.

Dinner for two on a Saturday night. Reserved a table - glad we did as the bar dining area was busy. We're seated quickly and orders were taken while we enjoyed a drink. The bar had a nice buzz about it. Starters of Caesar salad with lots of scrumpy anchovies and mackerel pate arrived quite quickly. Very fresh and tasty. Mains were catch of the day (bream) - very fresh & sparklingly white and fillet steak cooked exactly as I had requested. The hand cut chips are quite an experience in that they are huge but beautifully fluffy with crisp outside. I could only manage four out of the six that were served. Amazingly still had space for a desert. We had trifle and a super-light sticky toffee pudding. All round a very good meal with attentive but not intrusive service. Would recommend this place if this is the sort of experience you're looking for.

This appeared in the wrong venue - sorry..... Steak. Easy to get wrong - and so many people do. Easy also to get it right, which fewer do. This was the best sirloin I've possibly had ever. It was simple. Rare. Well seasoned. Rested. The fat was perfect. No gristle. Beautiful salad (i opted for salad over chips/fries). AND, Hallelujah - oil, balsamic, fresh black pepper and sea salt. Wonderful. Oh, and the kids food and my wife's food was also beautiful. And the knife was sharp! top marks Chef!!!!

Stunning sea views from this Bistro which is part of the Mullion Cove Hotel. You can eat or drink either in or outside . The menu is imaginative with fresh local sea-food, Crab, Mussels and Lobster or light bite selection. the Cornish Cream High Teas are excellent and the Sea-Food Platter (24 hours order in advance) is a cracker particularly when eaten alongside a crisp Chardonnay. The Chef served up Mussels in a Cider Sauce with Bacon Bits as part of the Platter, it was delicious, he should be promoted or put on Master-Chef or both. The service (Alex Front of House) is first class, nothing is too much trouble including fresh water for our Dog. We made three or four visits here during our stay and the place is a rarity standing out from mass-catering with a distinctive and very welcoming ambience with exceptional customer service.

Visited with me husband and 2 children. Nice warm friendly welcome. They had a limited menu but the fish pie and fish and chips was excellent. Kids menus were good too especially the homemade brandy biscuit. Wine nice and chilled. Toilets clean with nice hand wash. Windows could do with a clean as we wanted to have a good view.

Found this delightful upstairs cafe by chance and had some of the best vegetarian food for a long time. We were made very welcome and chose the hummus bowl and roasted veg toasted sandwich. Both were excellent and very filling.

The ice creams here are beautiful! Really generous portions and are very well presented. The customer service we received was outstanding, my daughter had a massive meltdown (ASD) and they were nothing but supportive, understanding and helpful. We'd had a very tough day today with meltdowns galore and this one was by far the worst of the day yet I never felt alone or judged. People like you make the biggest difference and I am so very grateful for you going out of your way to help and care. Thank you x
