Super cafe with bottled beer too! A lovely welcome on arrival by the owner & his staff, dog friendly, fantastic position for views & short walk from car park. Lovely & clean, great coffee & selection of cakes. We visited a couple of weeks before Christmas & it’s all decorated beautifully with Christmas tree & fairy lights. Romantic place or family place too. Thank you

Amazing food, decor, and atmosphere. Packed on a Tuesday evening. Food came out in good time; looked and tasted amazing. We sat in the bar afterwards and enjoyed some cocktails.

Pleased to find three Vegetarian options on the menu. Ellie went the extra mile to adapt the menu to cater to the likes of our American friends. We all had Falafel Salads and they were absolutely delicious. We only lacked the weather to sit outside with a wonderful view, but that was beyond everyone’s control. Satay Chicken & Peanut sauce was amazing, and the texture too. The Pad Thai noodles were great portions and green curry was delicious. The ladies there were lovely and kind too.

We had the most amazing dinner after a long hike in the area and were thoroughly impressed by the speed of food delivery and the taste of it. We met the owner and talked about the amazing transformation of an old post office into what you see before you. It feels like you could be anywhere in the world with cruisy music playing and fireplaces. Such an amazing experience!

Brilliant little kebab van, if your staying over the road don't waste tour money in the overpriced restaurant get yourself here for some proper tasty food. Kebabs were delicious and the chips are amazing!!!

Nice cafe in the centre of the village.

We had three nights here at the end of December for my husband's birthday. The location is obviously stunning and was the reason we booked (we are regular visitors to the Lizard) but this was matched by the staff, who were all friendly and helpful, and the rooms, which were clean and very comfortable. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely loved this place. Stayed at the Signal Station and walked over on 3 different nights for dinner. Ate in the terrace restaurant each time and honestly was shocked at how good the food was. The quality was incredible. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Even though the cafe was closed the ladies kindly did a take out tea and scone with jam and cream for me which I really appreciated.

Amazing view. Al fresco dining with unsurpassed views from The Lizard. Always see a seal or two to put the icing on the cake. Have visted often and always have the vegetable lasagne - absolutely delicious. Others have had the burgers, fish and fish medley and am told the crab sandwich is very good. So sorry to hear it is closing this week. Hope whoever takes over doesn't try to change it too much. As it is, it offers great food at good price, lovely staff and has a reputation to support this with a location that cannot be beaten. It's family friendly, food is served swiftly and never disappoints - and who could want more whilst gazing over the blue Atlantic. Good luck to the present proprietors in their retirement.

Spend Christmas for 3rd year, but not going back. Repeatedly told them of intolerance and on the 3rd morning nothing was soya free apart from egg. No sourdough bread and no care or knowledge that the bread, pasties and cereal all contain soya. Queuing for coffee.,juice, felt like a school canteen. Don't like communal jars of jam etc. By the way the first 2 breakfasts were sourdough with eggs. Shower went hot and cold continually, not had that before.

Popped in for swift half on our walk, really nice ‘local’ feeling about the place with lots of photos of previous regulars, many fishermen, no surprise given the location, roaring log fire and a friendly welcome with good beer As I say we only stopped for a beer but the food looked good. Would come back for sure

Beautiful location ,food good one of our friends ( who cannot walk very well following a stroke) requested where the toilet was ? Stern reply we don’t have one nearest is a car park 200 yards away ,we then noticed a sign advising no toilet or wash facilities available . How can you legally operate a cafe without, such a pity.
