We have just got back home from a visit to Cornwall last week - Coast is definitely a gem on the peninsula. We visited twice in our week stay and on our next trip to Cornwall we will definitely be back! The food was so yummy every time we visited, staff are friendly and kind - thank you!

It’s not often I rate anywhere as worthy of 5 stars but I can find no reason not to. Coast is so understated and almost low key to the point that we almost dismissed it as a lunch option. We’re glad we didn’t. The staff are so lovely, friendly polite and outstandingly efficient. The menu is varied and full of choice. The seafood salad was exceptional. So fresh and flavoursome. The smoked mackerel in particular was to die for. The fish and chips were similarly great. Not the cheapest, not the most expensive but certainly highly recommended. Thank you Coast.

A delightful cafe in the Lizard peninsula village, lovely cakes, lunches and a good small evening menu. Great friendly service.

I was extremely impressed with the service and quality of food. My chowder was delicious, lots of fish and the stock was very flavourful, would highly recommend and return. Also, an excellent sauvignon.

First visit for food. Ate inside but there are seats outside. I had a vegetarian burger, which was very tasty. Came with fries, bun, salad. My husband had a meat burger & said that was good too. I also had caramel sponge cake, for desert. That was lovely. So definitely recommend . There is a toilet & they are licensed too. Parking is on the main Lizard car park.

Very good food at Breakfast lunch or dinner. Nice either seated inside or outside. Only issue has made my shorts to tight for some reason

Fairly quiet when we went in as it was quite near closing but the food was good and the service was good and friendly

Very friendly greeting on our arrival and customer service clearly very important as every member of staff were polite and just as friendly throughout our visit. Good, no, great quality coffee (thank goodness, no push button machine here!) which was hot and a very nice bean. Breakfast was fabulous, I opted for the mini breakfast which kept me going until past lunchtime. Clean, bright & airy and dog friendly too with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning next time we are visiting beautiful Cornwall.

Stopped here for a quick pint after a lovely coastal walk. Didn’t have food, but it smelled delicious. Will return for food at some point. So we returned, 2 days later! My wife had the loaded chips, I had the seafood salad. Simply divine 💪🏻

Beautiful setting. Gorgeous affogato. And the best lemon and ginger tea around. Topped with lovely service.

We stayed at the Lizard last night, popped into this place for some food. It was awesome, the crab loaded fries were delicious, and the burger was really well cooked. We then ordered the sundaes to finish . One of our favourite local places to eat, definitely recommended!

Returned after a less than great experience several years ago. Coast has upped it's game. Friendly staff, nice food, quick service despite being busy on a glorious August day. Well done. As they say in the film's, We'll be back!

Came to @coastcoffeelizard for breakfast and I have to admit, this is easily in the top 5 Breakfasts I have ever eaten. The Hogs Pudding quite literally melts in your mouth and you can tell that these guys really care about what they are serving. Atmosphere here is amazing and the coffee.... well.. They use @foundationroasters coffee and it is so smooth and silky, B-E-A-utiful!!! If you are ever down the Lizard, i would 100% recommended a visit. Thank you for an amazing breakfast guys, I will be back!! ❤️‍🔥😎✌️

The service here was great. The ladies working there were chirpy and very quick to bring out drinks before the food. Unfortunately, I feel that for the amount it costs for a large breakfast, it isn't actually that large when you compare it to the value of, for example the cafe down near the Lizard Point. Having said that, it did taste very nice and I'm sure it's just personal preference. The milkshakes were my favourite part of the meal.

A lovely place for an evening meal, I have used this restaurant many times and I am always happy with the range of food available. They provide restaurant quality starters and mains and use a host of local produce and seafood, always cooked to a high standard. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The lobster in here comes with all the shell removed and the claw meat nicely presented so you don't need all the paraphernalia associated, steaks are local and cooked exactly how I ask...very good place run by a Lovely local family who have interests in food around the peninsula. To add the day menus are good and there is plenty of room outside with seating to watch the world go by and plenty of access for disabled people too. Last time I was here there was evening entertainment with a local group playing traditional music that brings out the local community who are lovely. Update June 2024. The place is still great. I'm like a cat and don't like change, I always want what I had last time I visited. However these guy always manage to get me trying new things with their fresh and dynamic menus they create, always excellent stuff and they really enjoy what they do here. Wonderful stuff and always a lovely welcome from the absolutely adorable staff Muuaah❤️🩵💜💖😘

Had afternoon tea and certainly worth it It’s a little on the expensive side, but you sort of don’t mind when on holiday

Very central location, pop in here first before you do your walk, free parking, if you decide to park near the Lizard then it's rip off the tourist, so take my advice and but a nice tea and scone the Cornish way. Dog friendly too

Really good. Could not fault the food in any way. The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. I can highly recommend the seafood salad and the apple pie.

This is a nice cosy bistro, with the freshest fish and chips I have had, and the homemade tartar sauce was incredible.

Our fourth visit to this lovely bistro. A very enjoyable meal as always. Disappointing to see one of the staff with a tea towel over his shoulder today. Not very hygienic thinking of loose hairs and dandruff falling. Added to that the tea towel looked filthy. Unfortunate overlook in such an otherwise pleasant place.

We had a really nice lunch here today. I had Fish and Chips and my other half had a Halloumi wrap. All the food was great. Staff were very nice and a lovely outside seating area.

Popped in for a light lunch and had a lovely prawn and Squid dish and also 2 cheese Arancini and the best coffee and cappuccino we've ever had, worth the 50 mile drive just fir that, will definitely be back.

Wonderful service all the staff were lovely considering the kids were full of energy and loud couldnt give this less the five stars. You pay for what you eat. Lovely little cafe.

Great local spot for lunch, coffee or cake. Good size tables inside and out. Quick service and tasty menu. They also have a big bathroom great for families and cater to allergies with oat or coconut milk alternatives.

Me & The Wife stopped here having a stroll around the Lizard. Never heard of the place before but we stumbled across it and Glad we did. We had a Cup of Tea and Coffee but when we seen the Breakfasts coming out we thought we would try a Breakfast. One of the Best Breakfasts I've tried around this part of Cornwall. The Staff were Happy and Helpful with a Professional and Courteous Service. And made us feel welcomed (Being Welsh in England 🤣) We would Definitely come back. Wheelchair/Pram Friendly. This is a slightly hidden gem in The Lizard. We stopped here for a late lunch and were not disappointed. Service was great and staff were very helpful. Food was so fresh and tasty and we will be visiting again when we are next here.

Great little outlet, called in for tea and and very plesant, had the Dirty burger which went down well along with a couple of Rattler ciders, staff very friendly and service was prompt.

We both had breakfast while on holiday. Mine was a vegan one , the food was fresh but so little of it. 1 veggy sausage , 1 small hash brown , spinach, a few mushrooms and beans which were spread across the plate to make it look more. Oh and a piece of dry toast , as it was vegan they didn't give butter . But I went back and asked for butter as I'm vegetarian, but didn't want the veggy breakfast as I hate eggs. I know I'm being awkward, but we all have preferences . Frozen hash browns don't cost alot , and I would have loved two of them as I was hungry and looking forward to someone cooking for me , as we are staying in self catering. Very disappointed, the orange juice cost £3 for a small bottle . I could buy a big carton of Tropicana for that. I realise that's not the point, but that's what you think when you look at your small juice . Cost of living going up all the time , and I want value for money now.

Nice place but very expensive. Charged £20 for 3 croissants and 3 drinks. Lids also removed from purchased jam so meant we paid for them, but couldn’t take them away with us.

Das Ambiente hat mich eher an Imbiss erinnert. Es gab nur eine Toilette für alle. Schlange stehen war angesagt. Essen wird an der Kasse bestellt. Service war etwas gestresst und hat nicht wirklich mitgedacht. Das Essen aber, speziell der coast seafood bowl waren hervorragend gut. Allein dafür lohnt es sich hinzugehen und alle negativen Punkte zu vergessen.

Stopped of here for a cream tea. Wasn’t disappointed we had the biggest scones I’ve ever seen and they were delicious.

We stayed in Lizard and, unfortunately did not dine at Coast until last two days, we dined at the local pub and at the local ‘posh ‘ hotel and paid a lot for not very good meals, but at Coast the food was delicious and substantial, very reasonably priced and the service was excellent, well done Coast, lovely, relaxing

Sea food tagliatelle was amazing.

One of the warmest and friendliest places we've ever been. Having stayed nearby a lot, we've bought coffees, cakes and had lots of lunches and dinners here over the years. And they've all been fantastic. Plus really dog friendly towards our two Boston Terriers. Would love to have a part of the community like this on or doorstep, can't wait to return this year.

The coffee is scam. Cheap and nasty and £3 for one tiny small cup. Daylight robbery!!! Customer service also rubbish.

Been here a few times and have to say that the quality and quantity of the breakfast's that they serve are phenomenal. Looking forward to eventually going for a lunch/dinner at the Bistro, but for what I've had - the breakfast's are a no brainer in Lizard. Fantastic!

Wow - we found this little gem; once we discovered the place we wished to eat was closed- as it was a Monday. Quite frankly the best seafood chowder we have ever tasted. Great staff and surroundings too.

Went for Sunday lunch. Tasty roast beef with lots of vegetables, large Yorkshire pudding and gravy. All with attentive and friendly service. Would love to live nearer so I can experience this more often.

We went 2 nights in a row at the food was so delicious and the staff were all so lovely 🥰 we also got takeaway from there when we were camping at Henry's sometime in the middle of the pandemic... the good is always amazing. Highly recommended!

Lovely food and service. Quick service was complimented by the quality of food. Halloumi fries with an excellent chilli jam. The fish was lovely on the day with a nice texture and light batter. Coastal burger was rich in flavour with the coast sauce. Staff were friendly and cheerful.
