Housel Bay hotel in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

We had one of the panoramic rooms. The room is a bit old. But the bathroom is very modern. But what it's all about: When you sit in front of the panoramic window, it's simply overwhelming! The coastal hiking trail passes directly in front of the hotel. The path to the right in particular is indescribably beautiful. The food is also very good and, above all, the view!

Absolutely beautiful location! The food for breakfast and dinner was exceptional. Service was friendly and warm, the young lady on check in made us feel very welcome straight away, gave us a little tour round too. The rooms are lovely, and the sea view is breathtaking. I don't like to say anything bad but the bathrooms could do with some attention, but still have everything you need! We sat in the garden and watched the sunset behind the lighthouse, the wandered in to sit in the snug before dinner. We will definitely be back soon!!

We had three nights here at the end of December for my husband's birthday. The location is obviously stunning and was the reason we booked (we are regular visitors to the Lizard) but this was matched by the staff, who were all friendly and helpful, and the rooms, which were clean and very comfortable. We will definitely be back.

Myself my partner and our little dog Honey have just had the nicest few days at Housel bay hotel. From the day we arrived we was so welcomed and our little dog was spoilt throughout our stay. Great views from the hotel and a really high quality restaurant and bar. Breakfast was great and a wide variety of choice. All the staff were so friendly and helpful especially Lucy and Molly. Wow..what a beautiful location and wow, what a view, we had a top floor bay window. Although the room was a little tired and with outdated furniture, it was cosy, and to be honest, the view outweighed this small defect. The service was outstanding with very friendly staff. I would highly recommend this hotle for the locations and wonderful walks and the views I will always remember.

Lovely meal had fish of the day

Stayed here for 2 nights with friends whilst walking the SW coast path. The hotel were unable to seat us for food at any point during our stay as we hadn't pre booked. We offered to sit outside or eat later but they weren't willing to make any effort to accommodate us. Very disappointed with the hotels attitude towards its guest. We weren't they only guest being told to drive to the local village and try and find something to eat. Also no parking spaces available in the evening.

If you get a room with a sea view it could be good, backyard room is bad (garbage cans) Bed small but as good as new, TV capable of Netflix. Otherwise very quiet.

I can’t say anything about the hotel, but the cream teas are great and the view is nice and it is quite and not so full

A few days away to decompress and celebrate a birthday. A wonderful panoramic view. A huge comfy bed and the food and service was second to none.

Two of us went for a mid-week Birthday afternoon Presecco Tea in the Terrace Conservatory. Delicious variety of fresh sandwiches, cakes and scones with jam and clotted cream. Served with charm, not hurried but not ignored. We left fully replete and not requiring supper! Only niggle was that a dog was allowed to sit at very close proximity under the next table, well-behaved but still too close for comfort in a dining area.

I had a panoramic room with a seating area. Best view and setting ever. And, with the coast path at the end of the garden area. Food was also superb. Overall, not cheap but worth every penny ❤️
