The Cadgwith Cove Inn was a regular spot for us to eat and drink in whilst on holiday in the cove. We always received a warm welcome and superb food, all washed nicely down with a few pints of Korev. To top it off, we were entertained by the talent of local singers, musicians and fishermen and women on Tuesday night’s folk night and Friday night’s sea shanties. Overall an amazing pub with a real community feel and where we were made most welcome by Garry, Helen, Nathan and the team.

As always a visit to this lovely Inn was as perfect as can be. Nothing is too much trouble for the team. Helen and Gary are excellent hosts and the quality of the rooms, the superb menu and wonderful entertainment makes for a lovely lovely stay. The only problem is that if the review is too good, too many others will find it! Thank you again for such a lovely stay.

Stayed here for one night with our 4 month puppy and would highly recommend. Lovely little inn, with all the essentials. We had a great sea view room. Staff are very friendly. Rooms are basic but clean. Parking in the area is tight but the inn has a few reserved spaces. We also had dinner here - would recommend booking. Lovely food with some sea shanties to accompany.

Wow what an amazing pub to find at the end of a long walk. The setting is beautiful. We turned up for a drink and ended up returning in the evening for dinner and to listen to the amazing Sea Shanties. The atmosphere was fantastic, friendly and fun. Millie, the waitress, was wonderful. Super friendly and helpful. We would never have made it back without her! The food was delicious and would definently advise a trip here.

What a magical place. Ate and drank here while sightseeing in Cornwall with friends. The food was good, but what really struck me about this place was the ambiance. As we were eating, a group of musicians started up in another room and the music was so touching. The musicians were singing and playing with such passion that it brought tears to my eyes. I want to go back in the future. Fabulous spot.

We just loved this pub! We were camping nearby for the week and ate at Cadgwith Cove Inn three times and drank there on other nights too. Cadgwith is a tiny fishing village and the pub seems to be a real hub for the community, with open mic folk music nights and shanty singing evenings, and with locals and holiday makers all mingling happily, and all made to feel at home. Helen, the owner, made a point of personally welcoming every diner, and we watched each night as she was equally warm and friendly to every single table as if they were the first - a real skill. The food was great, with a big selection of fresh seafood and fish dishes (as you'd expect in a working fishing village) but also really interesting tasty vegetarian dishes too, not the standard offerings a lot of places give. For instance the Thai Cauliflower Curry with Coconut Rice was really delicious, and would challenge most Thai restaurants we've been to. The Seafood Chowder was amazingly good too, generously jam-packed with fish and seafood, and a huge helping! It's also really nice that you're made to feel just as welcome to pop in for a few pints even if you're not dining, or for just a coffee or a tea or an ice cream! Top marks for a perfect pub!

This local pub is an absolute gem and not to be missed - particularly on a Friday evening when they have a large group of locals singing Sea Shanties from roughly 9-11pm. It was an amazing experience and they were all so talented yet it also felt so local and ‘raw’, being a Capella. We had dinner beforehand and both myself and my fiancé said it was the BEST beer battered fish we’d ever eaten (in their fish and chips). So fresh and the beer batter was light but just so delicious. It will be a must stop for us whenever we return to the area. Fabulous service. Just wonderful - the owners should be proud.

My wife and I had a really special anniversary meal at this characterful pub on our holidays. The meal was superb, I had the steak my wife enjoyed the fish of the day (caught locally by fishermen whose boats are pulled up onto the beach facing the pub). On Friday night we also enjoyed the singing of sea shanties in the beer garden at the front. If your coming to this part of Cornwall, Cadgwith and the Inn is a must.

Quaint wee inn in a lovely cove opposite the harbour. Menu was good - great seafood. I had the fish and chips very tasty with mushy peas on the side. Hubby had mussels to start then the fish of the day whole soul with jersey royals and a fresh salad. Food was great - word of warning though the cove itself is very small with little parking and little space to even get a car through. There is parking at the top of the hill and a small path which you can follow down to the cove. It is quite steep and may not be suitable for infirm or elderly. That said, if you can navigate it well worth the trip for a warm welcome and a great bite to eat in a traditional old inn.

This deserves the award, the setting is like a film set. The owners and staff very friendly and helpful. The food was top notch with a thai curry beating that of the reknown local thai fooderie up the road. We used to come here often with family and loved it! Staff always welcoming and friendly.. however we were very disappointed when visiting with my sister and friend tonight. After telling them how great it was and going to listen to the live music, that there was no room to sit unless we had booked a table for a meal. We bought a drink but were made to feel as though we were in the way! The staff weren’t friendly at all and we ended up sitting outside in the cold where we couldn’t even hear the music and just got very cold. There were heaters but no one put them on. The evening went quickly very flat! Very embarrassing! At least we got to visit the village again which was the only plus.

Wonderful as always! We’ve just had dinner and drinks in the Cadgwith Cove Inn 2 x nights this week - one pre-booked, the next pot luck when we’re lucky there was a table for two free in the bar on a stormy evening on the Lizard. We’ve probably eaten here half a dozen times over the past fifteen years, mostly on Easter holidays with our children - it’s just a great place for a meal and a drink. Friendly welcome, good service, lively atmosphere - and excellent food, with the emphasis on fish dishes. A must if holidaying in Cadgwith and the surrounding area. Thanks to all the staff at the Inn for their hospitality

I always wanted to visit Cadgwith so whilst staying at Mullion for a couple of nights we decided to go even though the weather was dreadful. It's a very picturesque place parking is dreadful but we managed to find a space and went into the Cove Inn for a meal. It's an really old fashioned pub with a fire and dated furniture. Food options were not good so I opted for fish and chips my friend had the burger. Fish was dreadful frozen tough and grey. Chips were warm and stodgy. Oil needed to be changed. I should have complained but just wanted to get out of there. Very disappointing.

One of the best (if not the best, actually) pub roast dinners I've ever had. The pork and crackling and seasonal veg were all cooked perfectly, well-seasoned, the gravy was rich, perfect portion size. So tasty. Plus only £17 per person for the roast and a little delicious apple crumble dessert with custard, such good value. The people working there are lovely too and we got recommended a really fun local squid ink gin, would recommend! Dogs are welcomed and the cosy vibes are worth it. Also, if you sit in the beer garden (under the heaters in winter!) there's a lovely little view of the sea.

Ten quid for a pint of both Skinners Betty and Thatchers Cider. Most expensive I have had in Devon as a resident and as a tourist in Cornie. Looks like they take advantage of a truly genuine view. You decide.

We visited this inn whilst house sitting locally. Over 10 days we visited 3 times and had two excellent meals. Fantastic location and very friendly hosts. We were welcomed by the locals who give shanty renditions on Tuesdays and Fridays. Cornwall at its best!

Popped in here for a cream tea, deliciously warm scones with jam and clotted cream, a real treat. Very reasonably priced. The staff were lovely, very friendly, would definitely recommend.

The ice creams here are beautiful! Really generous portions and are very well presented. The customer service we received was outstanding, my daughter had a massive meltdown (ASD) and they were nothing but supportive, understanding and helpful. We'd had a very tough day today with meltdowns galore and this one was by far the worst of the day yet I never felt alone or judged. People like you make the biggest difference and I am so very grateful for you going out of your way to help and care. Thank you x
