Small cozy and very friendly, recommended!! 10 out 10 !

Both me and my wife teresa have been here twice once on march15 2024 and then 10th october 2024 and both times the cornish mans standard breakfast was fantastic the staff as the last time and today where very helpfull and friendly the fried hogs pudding sausages eggs bacon was done to perfection and the price was great for the wonderfull breakfast .. thanks to all the staff at the granary wadebridge

Lovely place with friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere! Hearty portions with standout specials as well as old favourites. My milkshake was served in a glass jar which I thought was very charming and fun!

We were in Wadebridge for part of the day. Had a good day exploring the shops and walking around. We came across this cafe/restaurant, The Granary, and it looked lovely. Originally we sat inside because all the tables outside were full, but just after we ordered we could move outside (as it was a sunny day). Fabulous. The staff were lovely and accommodating. I had a Ploughmans and my wife had an egg salad sandwich. Have a look at the photos - the meals were fabulous. Beautifully presented and definitely filled us. Took us so long to get through it that they were packing up around us as they close at 3pm. Superb. Highly recommended.

We stopped off here on our bike ride through the camel trail. We chose this over the pub a couple of doors up. We are so glad we did. We managed to get our table of 6 seated quickly. The food menu had so much to choose from as well as the drink options. Service was second to none as well as clean toilets. Food was amazing and it fuelled us up ready for the ride back.

Stopped in on spec glad we did , great service better food … really good homemade soups sandwiches pies Wow ! Loads of great options little Gem highly recommended, Thank you The Granary 👏🏼👏🏼🙏🏼👍🏼

Eggs Benedict was appalling. Lumpy sauce, undercooked eggs with tea cakes meant to resemble muffins saturated in butter all made for a revolting combination. Also came with a side order of unfriendly service from staff who obviously didn’t want to be there. Would have complained on the day but staff didn’t ask how everything was hence the review here. Needs big improvement.

Very welcoming staff and good quality food

The service was very poor - food not much better. The Staff need a course in customer service. Definitely will not go back.

Situated in the precinct in Wadebridge this restaurant offers good meals at reasonable prices. We have been here several times before but never got around to writing a review. We visited as a couple with our dog and were warmly welcomed and seated in a table out of the way,My wife and I ordered from the specials board, I had Steak Pie and my wife had Cottage pie both of which are home made. The Steak pie was lovely and meaty with no grizzle or fat and came with chips gravy and peas, my wife's Cottage pie was also full of filling and came with cauliflower, broccoli and green beans, both meals were delicious. I can highly recommend this Restaurant and we look forward to returning soon.

It took between 15-20 minutes to make two sandwiches Not enough staff in the kitchen The front of the restaurant three staff fussing about what one another were doing. Also to much salad what a waste .

Great breakfast, good quality food and generous portions. Very filling vegetarian breakfast as well. Staff were friendly, attentive and polite. The cafe was spacious, light and soft music made a relaxing breakfast. We will be going back again soon

We sat at the table in the window by the door, table was sticky to touch quiet off putting, food was delicious but the cups for the tea were tiny and hard to hold with hot fluids in them, tiny little handle that you can barely get hold of!

ignored by lady serving as we went in.she gave us a menu a few mins later.she was fine the.wife had jacket potato with beans and sausages.large plate full.i had omelet and chips.would have been nice to have a salad with mine.both meals were really nice though,hot and tasty.we shared pot of tea.table we were at was a bit small for two but it was busy,so limited choice. toilets were lovely and clean.mens could have done with bleach though.overall a really nice place to eat-the lady who took our payment was friendly and asked if our meal was ok. if you're in wadebridge call in here. recommended.

Lovely breakfast served by very friendly staff.

Came today for the first time despite visiting wadebridge often being fairly local. What a great find, will be our new go to, very accommodating for a group of 3 adults and 4 children. Lovely food and great service from the young lad who served us. Thank you

We are regular visitors to Wadebridge but never tried this place until today ... what a little gem! Fresh, clean and airy premises, with lovely friendly, helpful staff. We both had the Cornish Breakfast, with hogs pudding. One came out with a complimentary extra egg, due to yolk breaking on the first. Quick and delicious, served with a smile, very tasty and reasonably priced. This will definitely be our new go-to eatery when we are in the area. 10/10!

Sat outside in the sunshine and had wonderful crab sandwiches and plentiful tea for two. Bread was just baked and excellent.

Popped into the granary with family for coffee, breakfasts etc. Fantastic service and excellent food, very tasty. New owners are doing an excellent job.

Stopped in her for some breakfast. Well it was truly disgusting, there was so much better on the toast, even after scrapping it off the butter was still pouring out when pressed, leaving the toast to be soggy. The veggie breakfast was all deep fried and the oil was all you could taste. Greasy spoon this really is. I wouldn’t go back, nor would I recommend to anyone. A real disappointment.

We were wandering through Wadebridge and spotted The Granary. Went in for lunch. Wow it was amazing. We had ploughman's. The place is great, the food was amazing and it's spotlessly clean. The staff were lovely and the young lad serving was a great asset. I throughly recommend this place.

We have been customers for a few years and I was worried when it was sold earlier in the year. There was no need to worry, everything was wonderful, just as it always was. A lovely place for food.

Nice place with good breakfast. Plenty of choice and good portion size. Good coffee, again with enough choices.

A delightful find and I can see why it’s top rated. We popped in mid morning for a delicious breakfast, I had The Granary fry up and my husband had the pancakes. The staff were welcoming and attentive and the food was delicious. I really liked that the fry up breakfast had all the components but was not excessive amounts of one thing and that it was clearly freshly made and not covered in grease. The young staff were a delight and there was a young chap working there who was so polite, helpful and an absolute delight. Well worth popping in. The specials looked yummy too!

My husband and I called for late lunch today and it was truly exceptional. It was 2.30 pm and we didn't know that they close at that time. The lovely lady still took our order which was a prawn salad and an all day breakfast. The food was superb, beautifully presented and the service outstanding. The establishment looked spotless. I couldn't speak any more highly of this gem of a place and the lovely lady who served us. Many thanks

We were lucky enough to call on a nice day, so could sit outside in the sunshine, however, there is plenty of seating inside if the weather isn’t so good. We were greeted with a warm welcome and, although we only had a drink, the meals that the other customers were receiving looked great.

Kitchen was smokey which created the seating near the back to he smokey and not nice to sit in, the service was good apart from we had to ask for sauces/ s&p, extra napkins, it felt cold and the food was edible but nothing special to make me want to come again

Lovely friendly owners and staff. It appeared that a large number of the customers were regulars, which led to a warm buzz. The food appears to all be sourced locally and great the chef was happy to out of the kitchen when possible. This just added to the feel of the restaurant. We live in Bude but will definately be back. Thanks again to all the staff.

We visited the Granary restaurant before covid and it was lovely so whenever we are in Wadebridge we like to visit here again. We both ordered a panini and a drink but was surprised that the panini just came as it was. Would have been nice to have a little side salad and crisps. Really tasty food, nice atmosphere, and friendly staff. A nice place to visit.

The breakfast options are varied and the service was quick and efficient. The breakfast I had was flavourful and nice & hot.

Love their granary all day breakfast but we add hash browns!! Naughty but nice. Not greasy at all and good quality sausages and cooked to perfection. We enjoy sitting in the sun when weather permits and enjoy a late brunch watching the world go by!

Ordered a roast pork dinner .... it was delicious 😋 I'd highly recommend choosing here for a tasty meal

Nice home made beef and ale pie proper pastry.

We stopped here for lunch on a day out of our holiday. We had the cajun chicken and bacon salad. It was one of the BEST salads I've had. It included pieces of melon which really infused the flavours. Lovely place, lovely people and would highly recommend

Very people nice food, plenty of choice.

We have a lovely large dog called teddy, and as we entered the restaurant, we were told that we couldn't bring our dog inside,as he was large! There were other dogs inside but apparently you can only take medium sized dogs inside. The lady was very rude ,and I will not be returning there again.

Second worst meal I have ever had. The worst was in there the time before! I thought maybe a one off last time, and I would try again but what a disappointment. Lamb chop special you could not get your knife though and just mainly fat.

Lovely friendly cafe fantastic all day breakfast

Really sad to leave this review. We have been coming here for years and years. Always book in advance and thus year they forgot about us. 10 of us arrived for dinner at 7pm to a closed restaurant. No answer on phone and reply from the owner 2 days later with an apology he forgot. In a customer service world a simple, late apology just isn't good enough.

Love this place, lovely home made food such nice Staff and John the Boss always finds time for a quick chat .We go to Wadebridge around six times a year for a look around the shops.It would be unthinkable not to have lunch here,or at least Cake and Coffee.Keep the Steak pie coming John love it and everything about this cosy fabulous place.!!!

What a lovely find! Four of us stopped off mid bike ride on 26th October 2020 for a cream tea which was delightful! From what I could see looking at other tables the food in general looked very appetising Staff so friendly and accommodating it is well worth a visit

Two weeks ago on our way to St Just we stopped in Wadebridge and called in tohave a fried breakfast. We were not disappointed. The food was really very good.The sausage, bacon, egg, mushrooms and beans were all cooked lovely. It wasso good in fact that on our way back from our holiday we stopped and ordered thebreakfast again. So if we happen to pass that way again next year, we shall haveno hesitation in going back there again.

Really nice food and excellent service.

From entry to leaving all the staff were very friendly and attentive. The menu wasn't extensive but we didn't expect it to be - it had enough choice for us. The food itself was fresh, tasty, generous and quickly served - the steak pie deserves a special mention. The Granary was so good we returned a couple of days later and it was even better.Highly recommended.

Best Breakfast in Wadebridge...

Called in for a lunchtime treat and weren't disappointed. I had the Bacon, Brie and Cranberry sauce panini, my wife had a jacket potato with Prawns and Marie rose sauce. Both dishes were excellent and tasty, the bacon was lovely and there were lots of good sized prawns with the jacket potato. A chocolate Scmoo milkshake went down a treat, the service was speedy and chatty, and the coronavirus rules were followed too Fabulous!
