The best restaurants serving British food in Bude North and Stratton Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

Lovely surroundings, excellent service and reasonably priced well-made coffee. My brother and I are on a surfing trip and have made this our morning coffee stop. Well worth a visit and getting an alcohol licence this week which adds another dimension.

Dave cooked for my husband and I and our 18 guests at our wedding in Cornwall. Throughout the whole process Dave was extremely professional and clear on what he could offer us on the day and what the prices were which is extremely helpful when planning a wedding. Dave cooked canapés for after our ceremony which were all delicious, the duck bon bons were a real hit! Everything was delicious and on time. The wedding breakfast was absolutely fantastic, the food was top quality and you can tell a lot of effort and love went into cooking all dishes. Our guests could not stop raving on about the food and even told us it was the best wedding food they have ever had. Dave also prepared for us an evening buffet which was equally as amazing and again the quality of all the food really was impeccable, I could not fault anything. The wine pairing that he suggested was also excellent and really added that little bit extra to the wedding breakfast. Aside from being a brilliant chef, Dave himself is so easy to talk to, puts you at ease, very professional but also brings his energetic and fun personality too which is wonderful to have on your wedding day. I cannot express how thankful we are to Dave and his team for everything they did on our wedding day. If you are even thinking about booking Dave for your wedding or any other event, just do it! You will not be disappointed. A massive thank you to Dave and his wonderful team for everything you did for us on our special day, we really appreciate it!

Was recommended to go and it’s the best ever tapas I’ve had. I’ve never seen so many options on the tapas menu and the chef should be very proud of his work as was fantastic

Family run restaurant reopened under BSK and open Wednesday - Saturday with Brunch from 9.00 - 14.00 and Street Food from 16.00 - 21.00. Located in the centre of Bude on two levels, ground floor “ bench seating” and first floor comfortable table and quality seating. Has excellent free broadband. Food is excellent and is fully licensed and the owners provide a warm welcome to everyone. We have eaten twice since they opened this week, each time in the morning, and the quality, at a reasonable price, has made this a must eat location going forward. Highly recommended and a great addition to Bude’s high reputation for food. Looking forward to attending the Street Food soon.

One word FAB! Food was absolutely delicious so fresh and beautifully presented. Staff were amazing so friendly! We will definitely be back.

Visited the Deck on the 11th of February as I wanted to treat the parents. When I called to make the booking the staff were very friendly and more than happy to accommodate my pooch coming too. All the staff were very friendly and we even got to speak to the chef which is rare. My son had the half rack of ribs and wings, to which he throughly enjoyed and said the meat just fell off the bone. The rest of us had the 10oz sirloin steak and was cooked to perfection especially as my dad is very fussy when it comes to steak. My husband is a coeliac and they were very accommodating for this also. We had a very enjoyable evening so thank you to all of you for making our evening. Great views also

We came here for lunch whilst visiting Bude. We called in to book a table, as our daughter was impressed with the vegan options available. Glad we did as the restaurant quickly filled up shortly after we arrived. All four of us agreed that the food was really tasty and will definitely return when next in Bude.

This is our 2nd visit this year, Hotel and staff very friendly nice to see familiar faces always have a lovely welcome, room 6 has fab view of the beach and see.

Fantastic find on our day trip to Bude. My husband had a delicious gluten free breakfast (finding somewhere good that's gluten free isn't always easy) and I enjoyed the American pancakes & a cappuccino. A quaint little place with a good atmosphere (music, layout etc). I would definitely return if I was ever in Bude again!

Excellent host and staff friendly. Good beer, bar very cosy with log fire. Allthough we didn’t have breakfast plenty of choice if we did want to eat. All in all a great experience - would go again

Vegan/Responsibly-sourced Home goods shop, with small Cafe. Fabulous Coffee, Scrumptious Cakes, even GF - couple of tables outside, when the weather is nice. Very friendly Staff, too. The only reason I haven't given it a 5, is because most of the time we come into Bude, it's never open and when it advertises itself as 'open' it still isn't.
