The best restaurants in Bude North and Stratton Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

Myself and the family were out and about and the kids were hungry, I remembered the last time my husband and I were in Bude we stopped at a lovely pie shop, so I had to find it again!! We got it to take away but it was absolutely delicious and sooo filling, I'm glad it met the expections from our last visit, and the kids loved it too! Albeit they only had sausage rolls and half our chips and gravy but thr pies were gorgeous. The gentlemen cooking/serving in the restaurant was so friendly, humorous and recommended the sausage rolls for my fussy girls and didn't mind that I walked in just as he opened the shop! (My bad) will be visiting again for sure.

Have just learned that Sea Fever is now permanently closed. To say I am gutted is an understatement, we have been there many times and each meal was absolutely superb, it was our main reason for visiting Bude from Hertfordshire, we would stay 2 nights and eat there on both of them.

Small venue, with beautifully cooked, flavoursome food. We had hake, duck and steak, and everyone very happy with their choice. Deserts delicious too.

Lovely surroundings, excellent service and reasonably priced well-made coffee. My brother and I are on a surfing trip and have made this our morning coffee stop. Well worth a visit and getting an alcohol licence this week which adds another dimension.

Dave cooked for my husband and I and our 18 guests at our wedding in Cornwall. Throughout the whole process Dave was extremely professional and clear on what he could offer us on the day and what the prices were which is extremely helpful when planning a wedding. Dave cooked canapés for after our ceremony which were all delicious, the duck bon bons were a real hit! Everything was delicious and on time. The wedding breakfast was absolutely fantastic, the food was top quality and you can tell a lot of effort and love went into cooking all dishes. Our guests could not stop raving on about the food and even told us it was the best wedding food they have ever had. Dave also prepared for us an evening buffet which was equally as amazing and again the quality of all the food really was impeccable, I could not fault anything. The wine pairing that he suggested was also excellent and really added that little bit extra to the wedding breakfast. Aside from being a brilliant chef, Dave himself is so easy to talk to, puts you at ease, very professional but also brings his energetic and fun personality too which is wonderful to have on your wedding day. I cannot express how thankful we are to Dave and his team for everything they did on our wedding day. If you are even thinking about booking Dave for your wedding or any other event, just do it! You will not be disappointed. A massive thank you to Dave and his wonderful team for everything you did for us on our special day, we really appreciate it!

Wow what an amazing little shop, hand made chocolates (made on the premises) the selection is huge the lady in the shop truly wonderful.

Easy ordering online. Great quality pizzas and good size. Came exactly as described. We collected and was warmly welcomed while they were being freshly cooked. Would definitely go there again. Quite expensive £64 for 4 with no discount for take away but you get what you pay for etc.

I can't recommend this place too highly! Having made regular visits over the years plus having my 80th Birthday celebration here, I more recently planned an 80th Birthday surprise party for my wife. This is an ideal venue for such an occasion, and Richard and Margaret go out of there way to please! The food is excellent, and there is plenty of it! With the champagne and wine flowing freely that night, my wife and I decided to stay the over for B & B, and this turned out to be unbeatable value for money. I am told that this place is fully booked for Sunday lunch right up to the end of September, and it's only May, so this should tell you something! Book up here with confidence, you won't be disappointed!

About a 5 minute walk from the beach and just on the edge of the centre of town this lovely little cafe/bistro is by far the best place to eat in town! Very dog friendly and people friendly, great food, service and nice vibes. A really chill place to visit!

This cafe is now called Cafeccino and I suspect run by different people . Before the menu had a good choice of dishes and excellent service . Today our experience was much worse ,we ordered a bacon sandwich and two coffees from the very limited menu and sat waiting at our table for 20 minutes and nothing arrived ( the cafe was not busy ) ,I got up and asked where our food and drinks were ,she had forgotten ,what did she think we were sitting at a table for ?I got a refund and was glad to leave because the woman behind the counter had been feeding a dog using her fingers and patting the animal down and not washing her hands ! Very unprofessional . My advice is to avoid this place .
