Amazing little traditional pub.. I have just drink a point. I Recommended.. 100%

This venue was recommended for post funeral re-freshment. Many folks travelled over 100 miles to attend my late Mothers funeral. Unfortunately extreme disappointment Food just placed on table - no introduction or welcome from staff. Part of buffet menu didn’t arrive at all Quality of food appalling.. everything beige., not even a bit of cress to dress plate Fish & cheese served on same platter Gluten free option .. looked like sandwiches in a builders lunch box Pastries looked like Costco’s rejects Crudités.. soggy old pepper around a nondescript dip? Flavour??? Shift management disinterested “ we are busy” then you shouldn’t take on more bookings!! Charged £12 per head .. could have had double the amount and quality if they had just popped to Sainsbury’s and bought some Lunch Meal deals So message is ..if it’s an important event for people you care about avoid the Nut Tree in Worle.

My daughter and I arrived just after 6pm and checked into our room, then went straight to the bar for a pre-dinner and drink. The food was a good standard but the service was poor. I had to go up to the bar to order a drink. We then went back to our room and my daughter had a shower only to find a ladybug infestation on the ceiling and some dropping to the floor. I had to go down to reception in my pyjamas as there was no way of contacting reception from our room. I had to walk through the restaurant and bar to speak to someone. After a brief chat amongst the staff a strange man offered to ‘vacuum up the ladybugs’. I declined this offer and asked for another room. The only room available for my adult daughter and myself was a very small and shabby double room. Having no other choice we went to bed. There was no apology for putting us in a bug infested room and no offer of compensation or refund for transferring us to an inferior room to the one we paid for. The whole experience was unpleasant and we would definitely not go back there again.

What a great little place for a drink. Tucked down the lanes, a real locals pub, with very chatty patrons who make you feel very welcome. And a great range of real ales too.

We had our works Christmas do here. I can't complain about the atmosphere, the staff or the food. Everything was lovely, but unfortunately, it was just not worth the money, especially compared to what was on offer at other local venues for the festive dos!

Very popular place. Great atmosphere Best to book if wanting to eat. Food is great quality and varied choices. Service is excellent and very friendly. Would definitely return

The food was amazing and the staff were helpful, cheerful, very welcoming and friendly. I had the gammon steak and it was the best one I have ever had. It's well worth a visit

Sadly disappointed that there was literally only 1 vegan option! Even the plant based burger couldn’t be done as vegan! The curry was lovely but would not have been my choice as I had curry for lunch. Come on guys…..the service was great, the curry was tasty but where is the choice?

I love the food I had: gluten-free hake, followed by vegetables and mashed potatoes. For dessert, I had gluten-free banoffee pie. Those two courses were scrumptious; I absolutely loved it, and it was 🎶heaven🎶!!!! It was so full of flavor. Well done for the brilliant service I have ever had! Popped in after a walk round Badbury Rings. The place was quiet but very festive looking with a nice cosy atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, recommending drinks and food for a first-timer. The menu was packed with lots of pub classics and there was a wide variety of drinks too. I went for the Hunters Chicken and was not disappointed. Well presented, tasty and a large portion which I almost couldn't finish! All washed down with a lovely pint of real ale. I'll definitely be coming back, thanks Jess's!

Lovely …service was perfect, snack delicious, atmosphere great. 2 days before Christmas, a welcome place to relax and take a breath. Recommended.

Today I took two over 90 year olds out for lunch , both had mobility difficulties. From the moment we arrived staff were helpful, friendly and thoughtful. The meal was lovely home cooked and as a large portions, no problem to bring a doggy bag home. Both ladies said the food , decorations , music and attention they received from staff was better than Christmas Day they could expect. We will return, such great service and food .
