The best restaurants in South West

My and my daughter visited Turtle Bay for bottomless brunch yesterday. Our waitress Rianna was so lovely. I think it's one of the best places in Bath for a bottomless brunch, service and a 5 star vibe

Simply the best. We are down from Yorkshire and we've always said that Magpie's fish and chips in Whitby are the best...BUT not any more. These are best we have ever tasted..so we visited here twice in a week. The chips are double cooked the batter is light and crispy..I usually pick off some batter but not this time. The large pot of minted mushy peas (who knew they would go so well) and the curry sauce were divine, as was the home made tartar sauce. Staff were lovely and decor modern fresh and clean with lovely harbour views. You simply must visit this little gem.

It was my partners birthday, we had a brilliant time, brilliant service, friendly, helpful, consistent on the drinks, will definitely come again and recommend. Rosie the waitress was 10/10 thank you.

Great fish and chips, probably the best in the south west.

Arrived for our reservation to be told that the fryers were it hot enough and there would be a 20 minute delay before they were able to serve food. Not an issue. Then tried to seat imus in a cold terrace - we rejected their table and were found another one. One hour in and still no food. We then said we would be leaving but would pay for drink to which they tried to apply a service charge - can you believe it. We of course declined their offer to pay a service charge. Come on - if what is essential a very expensive fish and chips shop can’t get the oil hot enough they are in deep trouble. I’m a Bath resident and would never consider returning.

Just got back from holiday and ordered a Dansak, chicken tikka masala and achari. All amazing. My go to is the Achari, it delivers on so many levels many different flavours going on! Thank you very much. Very delicious food and very good service too!

Went in for lunch on a Sunday; good pizza at reasonable prices, especially the children's offerings.

Really cute place- delicious food. Top notch homely service. Cute area with on floor seating in the bar area.

Had a wonderful sausage and bacon bap , and a coffee well priced and it was lovely to sit on the seats by the river
