The best restaurants in South West

Nice outdoor area. Unfortunately the meal was let down somewhat by the food, which consisted of meat/ fish which was barely discernible in flavour from the brightly coloured sauces - quite underwhelming.

Hamza catered for us and 80 of our friends and family the evening before our wedding. His falafel wraps were fresh and delicious and his service was efficient but fun and relaxed too. Everyone loved him and his food

My mother and I visited Beau for coffee and cake. My mother walks with a frame and the level entrance was easy to navigate. We received a warm welcome and enjoyed admiring the array of stylish hats while we enjoyed a warming cappuccino. This is a lovely place to visit for refreshments, quality outfits or both!

Absolutely fuming after checkout two lots of information that states opening time 10 am we waited till 10.30 and still not open.

First time order for breakfast delivery and the food was top notch. Fresh and tasty, will definitely be enjoying more of the menu soon!

We have had yet another fabulous evening at Athena in Radstock. Harry and his team produce fantastic food in wonderful surroundings and at such great value for money! We are so lucky to have this fantastic restaurant on our doorstep and we will return again and again! Thank you Harry!

Este lugar solía ser el mejor lugar para conseguir pasteles y café desde cuando abrió por primera vez el personal era encantador / amable y acogedor desafortunadamente todo bajó colina abajo no estoy seguro de si cambiaron de dueño o simplemente el personal, pero esta fue mi experiencia la última vez que visité. Fui a pedir a mis hijos el primer pastel de cumpleaños una semana antes de su cumpleaños la panadera se vendió a sí misma como la mejor de la ciudad e incluso sacó su teléfono y se comparó con otros panaderos de pasteles como a sus ojos “ella es la mejor” que me enamoré completamente como una tonta de todos modos dándole 1 semana para hacer mi pastel personalizado que ella dijo que puede hacer Vine a recoger un desastre de un pastel la crema estaba todo corrido el pastel estaba todo manchado e incluso la escritura en él parecía repugnante y desordenado ella lo culpó a la crema! De todas formas no tuve más remedio que coger el pastel del desastre y he subido una foto. Como mamá por primera vez esto fue realmente decepcionante para mí y cuando se trataba de pagar a la señora detrás de la caja registradora se llevó £ 15 de descuento en el precio original donde el "fabricante de pasteles" no estaba de acuerdo con y dijo que nada se debe quitar.

If you want a lovely snack or meal, this is the place to come, sat by the lovely harbour. Crab sandwiches are absolutely lovely and filling served with salad and crisps. Other food looked really good. The cafe now has a new name Harbour Cafe. Staff great and friendly. We will definitely be back

We have very few “go-to” places, but Fattso has been a firm favourite on that list for a few years now. They are consistent in the quality, flavours and textures. There are without a doubt the best burgers, ANYWHERE. Friendly team always working hard. Normally a queue, but a great burger is worth the wait. Always ask what specials they have. Tonight I had the Oklahoma. Previously, the Baby Blue. But the Fattso hits the spot on the regular menu. There are vegetarian options too. My wife’s choice is the Big Fat Hello (halloumi) burger.

Lovely pleasant staff in this spotlessly clean Italian cafe. The coffees and hot chocolate very good as were the pastries and focaccia bread. They have a good selection of light meals which we didn’t try but other peoples looked very interesting. Would definitely return if in the area.

Lovely little gem of a place down a pretty road almost next door to a pub. Pretty interior lit with lamps and candles providing a cosy intimate dining room.Thankyou for my gorgeous flowers, such a lovely touch 💕 Bring your own wine a great idea as its a good option, they do make delicious mocktails tho. We shared a gorgeous tasty chorizo starter and followed with tapas plates of meatballs in a rich tomato sauce, French fries, Spanish potatoes, chicken in garlic, mushrooms and greens, all beautifully prepared and served, very delicious. A good array of main meals and tapas and specials for Saturday. A nice reminder of portugal and it's cuisine. Thoroughly recommend. obrigada xx

A great local cafe offering lovely food and drinks with friendly service, plenty of tables, loo with baby changing. Has good opening hours too. Really nice to know somewhere that’s reliably good to pop into when in the area.
