Azura's menu is not extensive, but the food is better for it, and excellent value for money. Everything was freshly prepared, tasty, and served with a smile. I was so pleased to have found my favourite, clams, served the way I remember loving in Portugal, washed down by a nice glass of vinho branco. I was surprised the restaurant was so empty on the Friday nigh - perhaps the good folks of Axminster have not yet cottoned onto the fact they've got such a nice place on their doorstep. Don't leave it too late, it would be a shame if it had to close!

Great place, tucked away in a quiet backwater. Friendly, welcoming service, and great value. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

We decided to try this restaurant last night as we had heard good reviews, we were not disappointed! Lovely staff, great seating and amazing food! We enjoyed a great cheese board then a selection of tapas. We don’t know why this place isn’t full every night but it should be! Will definitely be back.

Brilliant place to go. Tucked away this friendly tapas and cocktail bar is a must to visit. Whether breakfast, lunch or supper all food is home baked and delicious. Or you might just go for coffee & cake, choice of indoor or outdoor eating areas. Love it!

This is a fantastic place to drop in to enjoy a coffee or drink anytime of day. It has a beautiful outside area to sit in if the weather is sunny. The tapas is freshly cooked and having travelled a lot in Spain and Portugal it is some of the best dishes of tapas I have ever eaten. Portuguese custard tarts - yum yum. My fifth visit and I will definitely be back .

Fantastic lunch here yesterday, we had the cheese and meat board with very generous portions of too much to describe! Plus delicious tapas of sausage and greens and dates with honey cheese and bacon all very reasonably priced. So worth a visit.

The best pastels de nata in England (flown in fresh from Portugal), affordable and child friendly! Good meat options and veg soups.

Lovely meal on a Saturday in November. A warm dry space out of the cold. On the first floor looking down on the main street, good for people watching. We had fish and chips, freshly cooked, katsu curry and the special of monkfish in a lobster sauce, all delicious. One bailies cheesecake. Recommend a visit. Patient service

Gingerbread house cafe is a lovely local coffee/breakfast/lunch spot on the high st, just up from the beach. I recently ordered a cream tea for two box to be delivered to my mother for her birthday as I live far away. She loved it, it was fresh and delicious and included sandwiches, scones, clotted cream and all the fixings, and she couldn’t have been happier to be surprised on her birthday with a friendly face and a special delivery. They are also very active in the community and offered free lunches for school kids during Covid. A great cafe!

We had to try the new Sunday lunch menu and we were not disappointed. Roast beef served with roast potatoes, parsnips, carrots, broccoli, cheesy leeks and a proper Yorkshire - not one of those rock hard crispy things restaurants often serve. Followed up with the best freshly cooked Blueberry Bakewell and cream. The staff were friendly and attentive. Thanks very much
