Hamza's in West Dorset

Hamza catered for us and 80 of our friends and family the evening before our wedding. His falafel wraps were fresh and delicious and his service was efficient but fun and relaxed too. Everyone loved him and his food

Discovered Hamza's food at Tom Brown's last night. Absolutely amazing! Best food I've had in moons. Mahmous chicken was marinated to perfection, melts in the mouth with subtle delicious spices and a top garlic sauce, and the falafels were out of this world. No plastic packaging and nicely size portions 10/10 will be ordering takeout today for my hangover!

Perfect falafel wrap today in West Bay, Dorset . A real treat to find such lovely food an a sea of pies, pasties and overpriced fish and chips. Good work guys 👍

Just returned from having a lovely meal at Hamzas .The food was delicious, the service first class. We love coming here.I can't recommend it enough.

Ordered hamza's special sheikh Al meshi.. it was very bland and the portion was very very small, mujaddara rice portion was equally small and had no taste either... overall not what I expected from my first order....

Ate in on Friday night. Fantastic food, ordered five or six plates and all were brilliant. Hidden gem in Dorch and my new go-to eat out spot.

Just had first order of their popular Mahmous chicken and Syrian spiced potatoes. Deliveroo came by bicycle.. as soon as the food hit the plate it was cold. The ‘tender chicken’ was anything but. Dry and so chewy..not in the slightest pleasant to eat. The potatoes were clearly cooked from frozen and texture grainy and mushy. These are two dry dishes, the only thing that helped it along a little was the garlic sauce of sorts that made it somewhat palatable. The only good things I have to say about this order were the flavour and the sustainable packaging. Unfortunately I spent £20 on food that I could not eat half of. Such a waste. Will not return.

Food was nice and clear on allergies ,overall good. hope I see more restaurants like this.

Unexpected gem, delicious food at Tom Brown's. The falafels are very tasty and crunchy, and the sides (rice and lentils, Syrian potatoes) had a very interesting twist to them: moorish! Besides the food, Hamza is a great, kind and interesting host!

We have just come to Dorchester for a weekend of cycling and walking. We went to the local pub called Tom Browns, just because it looked interesting and they had a great Syrian cuisine leaflet outside. We sat in the pub garden feeling really comfortable and having our first pint in the south west in a long time. We ordered a meal from Hamzas takeaway which is a business within the pub. We have just eaten it in our little airbnb round the corner( it was getting pretty cold in the pub garden!) and it was one of the best takeaway meals we've had. The ingredients were really fresh and beautifully cooked. Proper freshly cooked genuine healthy middle Eastern food!! Really flavoursome, generous portions. Totally enjoyed every mouthful! We were especially happy that all of the takeaway containers were completely biodegradable. That means a lot to us. Thank you! Xx

Had a fantastic take-away from here this eve. The stuffed vine leaves were the highlight. Everything was really fresh and tasty and lovely friendly service on collection.

This was such a tasty Friday night take away. Would really recommend, great food, good value and very friendly staff. What more could you want. Thank you and good luck with this new venture to all at Hamza's ☺️
