Honestly one if the best Indian takeaways I've had. You can taste the quality and the spice, and I'll happily keep coming back from London. The Dorset spice explosion, chicken rajastani and lamb vindaloo were exquisite. Highly recommend to all.

Ordered whilst having a few beers over the road, I was told ok thank you, you can collect in 15 minutes... Perfect! I had a light meal, Tandoori lamb with Aloo Gobi... 😯 The lamb was cooked perfectly, the flavour of the marinade it's self was outstanding and authentic! I can't say any less about the Aloo Gobi!

We have been having take away with Bombay Nights for 8 years! Superb food, service and staff. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Totally recommend. Love the small portion of curry means no waste. Peshwari naan amazing. Only thing I wasn't so keen on was onion bhaji round and flat like a burger prefer mine deeper to appreciate the texture and flavour. Will definitely be going back 😊

Away in Dorset for the week & really fancied Indian food. We chose this place based on the amazing reviews & we were not disappointed! Food was absolutely delicious, so tasty & full of flavour. Arrived piping hot too. Would 100% recommend!

Definitely the best in Dorchester. Its the only place I will get a takeaway. And reading some reviews on here it's like people don't understand that every restaurants food will taste different different chefs cook different ways add different spices etc. Highly recommend

Very disappointing. First time we’ve tried Bombay Nights and won’t go again. saag Paneer was like cheap packet cheese sauce and frozen spinach - inedible. Peshwari Naan was clearly not fresh and no coconut, sultanas, just ground almonds stuffed inside a dry naan. Veg curry was okay but rather greasy as was lamb rogan josh. Some yellow sauce in a pot was foul - not sure what it even was. I love Indian food, cook this cuisine frequently myself, have lived in India for a year so I’m not just not liking the style. The quality was very poor. What a shame.

Ordered some lamb and prawn dishes,very greasy and too much tomato in dish and for a medium curry too hot Somosas rice and naan bread ok Lamb meat very tough All round a disappointing meal

Excellent! We came over from Weymouth and very glad we did so. They were really kind and made a lot of effort to help us. My wife can't eat dairy and they were really careful about what she could eat and what she couldn't. We were extremely grateful for their help and attention. The food itself was delicious and well priced. We were really happy overall and will definitely be back soon!

Whenever we get takeaway from here it’s always amazing and super tasty. The people who work here are also always lovely and really friendly. Ali is especially kind and valuable to the restaurant. We really like Ali!

We Travelled from Sherborne To Try Bombay Nights as all the local curry house to us are rubbish. I'm so glad we did as the quality was amazing! Bursting with flavour and real quality food! We had the Dorset Spice Explosion and I can honestly say it's the best curry we have had in years, cooked to perfection with fresh quality ingredients made with care and skill, absolutely mouthwatering top quality food! Mix that with Perfect customer service and you have a top quality curry house. Thank you Bombay nights we will be back very soon.

Ordered for delivery after reading great reviews, but sadly very disappointing. Veg samosas we ordered were meat and my daughter had covered them in her dahl but as she's vegetarian she couldn't eat the dish after taking a bite. Her meal was completely ruined and she was upset. Called back and had to wait for veg ones to be delivered. By which point we'd all finisged eating. The saag paneer is strange, not like any saag paneer I've ever had before and it's a dish I order a lot. The cheese was melted into the spinach and it was a little sweet and very creamy, just an odd taste. When I mentioned this when calling back I was told yes that's just how they do it here. It was obvious that this is often. mentioned by customers, but why doesn't it state this on the menu. I really wouldn't have ordered if I'd known. Overall a first and last time for us. We spent quite a bit in total and half of it was wasted.

Lovely curry house, really great currys with plenty of flavour and heat, order every week and always give good service and fast delivery, very polite and accommodating, have never forgotten or got an order wrong. We've been getting our food delivered from Bombay Nights for 5+ years, and it's always top-notch, absolutely delicious. Yan, who usually delivers to us in Cheselbourne, is really friendly and ensures our food arrives just right – excellent customer service!! For example, they forgot to deliver 2 stuffed parathas tonight and delivered them with extras – amazing! We were happy without but they were determined to make sure we had everything we ordered. The dishes are genuinely tasty and remind us of authentic Indian flavours. Fresh ingredients and great cooking make every order a hit. We keep coming back to Bombay Nights because they've got it right. If you haven’t tried them, you should. Big thumbs up from us! 👍

I thought wow , 4.8 , and then got suspicious and now i know why ! If you can’t make a garlic naan and ask for cash only then you’re best off calling it a day. Curry was ok but don’t fiddle your reviews

Wow what an absolute delight to find the almost perfect Indian the food was amazing the only criticism I could actually make is to ensure the naan bread is lighter other than that absolutely delicious and amazing thank you from the Czornyj’s from Corby Northants

Just had a £56 order from Bombay nights and it was the worst curry iv ever had everything tastes of salt won't be going there again .

WOWZERS . I've tried so many curry houses this is among the very best. Very friendly helpful staff too. Well worth trying the chef's recommended dishes if feeling adventurous. Great well balanced flavours . The chicken chat is very intense yum 🤗

my regular takeaway for a few years now , the best Indian in town for service , food and hygiene . . even spiced my Rogan Josh up to my liking , and it was all nice . a free poppadom and mint sauce with a curry as part of the price. always delicious my extra onion salad really fresh , i would highly recommend. . An old friend had told me about this place and said it was the only one he would eat from in town re hygiene standards from some of the rest . lovely man normally answers phone and v good customer service . . which is nice

We just enjoyed an amazing Vegetable Byriani and a Vegetable Dhansak which were absolutely delicious and not floating in oil, as is often the case. We’re both vegan and the restaurant was careful to ensure that our order contained no animal products. We’ll be regular customers from now on!

Lovely takeaway/delivery Indian food with an emphasis on quality/flavour & customer-service. We have had a few fantastic vegetarian/vegan meals from here & they took exceptional care to ensure the vegan food was prepared separately & carefully marked. Wonderful!

I’m not sure who’s writing these reviews!. Personally I found my lamb madras very ordinary. Good meat content but lacked punch and flavour. I could buy better from a supermarket I’m sure there’s better availability locally

We've had two take out meals from Bombay nights now and on both occasions I can say that the food was very good. Good size portions of both curry, rice and vegetables. We get garlic naans to accompany the meal forgetting how big they are so end up getting two and then end up not eating one! Still, they're always good the next day in the toaster :-). On this occasion we also got a sheek kebab starter and that was tasty too. Because we live out in the sticks somewhat, delivery is not an option. When we collect the food we pay cash because the owner gives 10% off for cash.

Bombay Nights in Dorchester is the tastiest, most authentic and consistent curry in 30 mile radius. I have enjoyed a curry for over 30 years and this place doesn't disappoint. Always punctual and friendly staff

Absolutely delicious food, wonderfully well cooked, with complex and deep flavour, incredibly moist meat, and nothing skimped on. It feels generous, as though it is cooked with love, and thoroughly satisfying. G was accommodating, extremely polite and friendly.

We picked a substantial selection of dishes for a special birthday celebration for the family, and were delighted with the quality and variation and authentic tastes. All delivered on time, highly recommended.

As visitors to the area, our accommodation was well outside the area, free delivery was not an option &at £11 on top of our large meal was not an option either. I drove for 25 minutes to collect, then the same time back. Food quality is excellent 👌, selection was superb, ready when I arrived. Price negotiation was good. Enjoyed by all of us. On Christmas Eve.

Not usually over keen on indian food but my wife wanted one so OK I would try one, and have to say, it was very nice and will definitely use Bombay Nights again great service and well priced.

On a trip from Plymouth and stopped here for a meal. Food was amazing the service was excellent and very polite professional staff. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area and we will certainly be back if we are around that way again 👍👍

The man I ordered from was very clear about what was and wasn't Vegan. And the food was incredible, the Dahl in particular was one of the best I have ever eaten.

Best takeaway curry in town! Gorgeous food.

Have been using this take away over the years, and it’s been good, last couple of meals have been poor quality, cold and not the standard it used to be. Had a takeaway last night, the majority was just ok. The onion Baji was a soggy onion cake. The tandoori chicken which we were told we would have to wait for because it’s cooked fresh( we always have this) Once home, it was definitely not freshly cooked, it was dry cold and tasted bad. I only had a couple of bites and froze the rest in case I was Ill over night. I will not use this company again.

We ordered here whilst on holiday and I have to say the food was stunning. I ordered the garlic butter chicken and it was very nice and my partner is really fussy about his chicken balti but he rated his 10/10. We would both definitely recommend Bombay nights 100%.
