Very good ice cream. Always worth buying when you can! *edit in reply* Only stars removed due to both shops in town being sold out of croffles only an hour into service… I do love a good croffle!!

There are plenty of ice cream options nearby but I had one look at this one and new this will be the one. I was not disappointed! Nice people and great flavours.

Called here on 1/10 just for a tea and a coffee. Never again. The coffee was just about acceptable, my tea was basically warm, watery milk with a tired looking teabag almost unable to impart any colour. Diabolical. Equally, the girl serving was slow, surly and had no idea of customer care or service. It felt as though we were intruding on her time sitting on her backside. Avoid, go elsewhere!

Delicious gelato and lovely friendly service. I had one scoop double chocolate and one salted caramel...both delicious. Best ice cream I've had in a long while

The ice cream was good but not as good as others I've had, and portions were smaller as well.

Ace ice cream. Loved by 3 generations of our family on our recent holiday. Between us all we tried every flavour on the menu and there wasn’t a regret between us

THE BEST ice cream I've ever had, absolutely packed with walnuts! My husband has the elderflower sorbet, which he absolutely loved, and was gutted when we returned the next day to find they had none left. It is quite pricey, but no more pricey than other establishments nearby, and well worth it. You need to come and set up in the Cotswolds, so I don't have to wait until I'm next in Dorset!!

Attracted by the dairy free / vegan options. They had three flavours as scoops plus additional in tubs - all tasted amazing and the brown sugar in particular was incredible. I came back next day and had the brown sugar again in an affogato! For when the chill hits later in the evening, alongside coffee they also do a good range of teas and dairy free milk.

First ice cream was taken by a seagull. Staff looked a bit bemused when I went back to get another and I said the first had been taken. They insisted that seagull replacements are free of charge which is a very different policy to their neighbouring establishments. Pretty sizeable scoop of very nice ice cream on a lovely waffle cone.

The maple and walnut gelato was incredible. The strawberry one tasted a little like frozen yogurt which was also lovely and refreshing. Would absolutely recommend.

Nice fancy ice-cream. Although beware of the seagulls, they think so too. Fortunately I had anticipated this and brought a potato masher from my Airbnb to ward them off. The seagulls also don't like it if you shout "BY THE POWER OF GRAYSKULLLLL" at them.

Disastrous mocha and hot chocolate! It's fine. I am not after free stuff but I did try and tell her they were bad but she wasn't really reacting. I added more cocoa to one and it was still bad. They really needed to be all taken back. My sons hot chocolate was like hot milk and the mochas were just coffee. I know it's not easy with staff and she was perfectly pleasant. I would suggest full fat milk is better anyway and a decent hot chocolate powder. I would expect more from baboo as your quality is good so at £11 for 3 hot drinks I was expecting something decent. Sorry. It's the first bad review I have ever done.....the cobb end.

All the ice cream is gluten free and they have gluten free cones. Its also absolutely delicious ! Great service too.

Great place, very tasty gelato (maple and walnut flavour is delicious!!) , great coffee , cakes and had a very tasty frozen elderflower Mojito one evening!! Staff all friendly and so helpful , didnt try the croffles ..need more days in Lyme !!☺️

Excellent ice cream. Truly generous portions, difficult to eat the ice cream fast enough as the heat was melting the ice cream fast. The double chocolate was really chocolately and the walnut and maple was studded with lumps of nuts and was delicious

Went here especially, as it stated vegan and gluten free available. The one vegan flavour was completely boring and tasteless, but everyone else enjoyed theirs.

We decided to grab my 6 year old son an icecream yesterday evening while he was throwing stones in the sea with his dad. On the way to him I was ambushed by about 7 seagulls who stole the icecream 😫. I went back to the shop to grab another one and the guys who run the shop very kindly gave my son another icecream for free. How lovely! Not only was it amazing icecream but what a really kind gesture, something you dont see very often anymore.❤️❤️

Visited the stand on Wednesday and really enjoyed the ice cream. The two young women working were very professional and offered great customer Unfortunately they had just incounterd a rather rude customer and the young lady acted very professional in the situation (which wasn't her fault, the customer was just being very rude) no need for it.

Easily the best gelato I've had in this country, and a strong contender for the world. Smooth texture and even flavour and chunks (I had mint choc chip) all the way down. Very generous scoop and well packed in, so it stayed in our 3 year old's cone despite her best efforts to the contrary.

Three Mulled cider and wine, they are very very sweet. The mulled cider tastes little bit bitter. Unless you have sweet tongue, otherwise too sweet for us.

Whilst the gelato is delicious and generous portions, the coffee and hot chocolate were disappointing and served lukewarm.

Gelato here is absolutely delicious, but the CROFFLE is to die for! It’s too good. 😋 The service was great as well. Will definitely return.

We visited Lyme Regis twice during our recent holiday to Dorset, both times we bought gelato cold coffees and normal coffees from Baboo and they were incredible. They were so good we took the rest of our party there the second time and to our delight they had the same experience. Would definitely recommend!

What amazing people! We had a school trip of 50+ children, ice-creams were served really efficiently and with a smile! They are very generous portions in a cone and absolutely delicious!

The best ice cream in Lyme Regis!

Delicious flavours - mainly chocolate/nut/caramel types, but also lemon sorbet and vegan brown sugar. Not the cheapest, but very good quality. Clued up about serving coeliacs; gluten free cones available, and when I requested one, the person serving scooped from a new tub of ice cream to avoid cross contamination. Would definitely recommend.
