Lovely friendly owner. Chilled atmosphere. Great food. Good portion sizes. Sensible prices. We would definitely eat there again when we next visit Wells.

This food experience was so amazing it has inspired me to make my first ever review. I shared The Royale burger and spicy fries with my partner, and oh my...I was blown away. This has to be one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. Perfect in all the ways. It's so unassuming and unpretentious which adds to the whole quality experience. The music choice (blues), the rustic benches, genuinely friendly guys and the very generous portion size make it undoubtedly a 5 star experience. Long may it thrive! I will be bringing all my loved ones here.

THE absolute best burgers in the southwest, dare I say the UK?! Every single burger I’ve tried has been delicious, fresh, flavourful and the spicy fries are to die for! The dips are also fantastic and would be hard pressed to find a better burger place ANYWHERE! 💜

One of the best burgers I've had and, believe me, I've had quite a few! Ticked all the boxes, fresh locally sourced beef, great cheese, fantastic sauce and the fries were excellent. If you're in Wells, or Somerset, try this place...you won't be disappointed.

By far the best burger in the area. Stick to the 'Fattso Burger', no need to go off piste, add some fries, regular or spicy, and you are in for a treat. Only open Thur-Sun evenings from 17:30, but can be closed without notice.

We were really looking forward to trying fattso whilst on holiday in the area. Unfortunalty the quality didn’t meet the price tag and although service was friendly and speedy the food was very salty and ingredients seemed below par. We paid £28 for 3 burgers/chips (2 kids burgers and a fattso original) and they were no better than if we went to McDonald’s or Burger King :( Such a shame really.

The burgers are really good, very tasty. Fries and dips good too, however, they are VERY inconsistent, the fries one day will be thin one day, more than twice as thick the next day (I prefer the thinner fries), they are sometimes open, sometimes closed within their published open times. From the last 4 times we visited, once was closed for an event, once the fries had more than doubled in thickness and the burger tasted more cooked than other times, once was good all around and last time was randomly not open when we got there despite it being a time when they are published as open. It's a real shame that they don't seem to take their product and service more seriously, they are repeating the mistakes of many other restaurants that didn't make it in the long run. If you are nearby, I would recommend checking out if they are in fact open and from other customers what the food is like that day. At their best they are incredible.

Last night I had the pleasure of feasting on the Smokelahoma burger from Fattso. It was delicious and did not leave me feeling bloated. Great service

I have now sampled everything on the menu and hands down, these lads know how to make a good burger! Even the Vegan option is amazing.

We tried these burgers as the company was at Quantock Brewery. Absolutely fantastic burgers. Made with fresh ingredients. Very tasty. Keep an eye out for Fattso burgers. Well worth a try.

These are no ordinary burgers. Superb flavours with lots of little extras and generous too with two beef patties. A great local business producing tasty gourmet food - we are hooked!

Tried the smashed Oklahoma burger. Hands down the best “double beef burger” I have ever tasted. I would highly recommend Fattso, go and give them a try and support local business!
