Beau Boutique & Tea Room in West Devon

My mother and I visited Beau for coffee and cake. My mother walks with a frame and the level entrance was easy to navigate. We received a warm welcome and enjoyed admiring the array of stylish hats while we enjoyed a warming cappuccino. This is a lovely place to visit for refreshments, quality outfits or both!

Unexpected visit to this lovely Boutique and Tea Room Today - Delicious sandwiches freshly made and Gorgeous Home Made Scones with Jam and Cream and Very Good Value For Money - Very Pleasant Staff.........Oh and by the way There is a Loyalty Card Available Also. Hope to Visit again soon.

This is a first class place to visit as mother of the bride. Looking for my outfit as my first daughter getting married and thought I would have to drive all over the country. Thought I would just pop myself to Beau as it’s quite local to me and couldn’t believe it when I found my outfit. Fiona and her staff couldn’t be more helpful. They cater for all ages and best of all, once you have finished shopping, you can have tea and cake. I have two more daughters and I certainly will be going back to Beau. Este se ha convertido en una de nuestras habitaciones favoritas locales de té. La comida siempre es fresca (probar el pan integral sandwiches procese y el personal siempre amable. Las tortas caseras son una tentación y el café es muy bueno. El lugar es muy limpio y una pequeña cafetería, la elección es muy buena.Este no es un restaurante en el que sirven comida casera (aparte de sándwiches tostados) pero eso es comprensible, dado que se trata principalmente de una tienda de ropa.

We followed the signs in from the main road at about 3pm yesterday in the reasonable expectation of tea and cake, possibly more. Only to find that the cafe/shop were both in darkness. Why hadn't they taken in the portable signage? Why wouldn't a tea shop in this part of the moor not be serving tea to the passing hundreds at tea time on a Sunday afternoon? Where on this earth would it happen other than here?

We stopped here for lunch after a walk. We both had paninis which were served with a side salad or crisps and we also had room for a coffee and a cake for pudding! The home made carrot cake was fantastic and the muffin was also very nice. All at very reasonable prices.

Fiona and her lovely team make you feel so welcome. The service is first class, and everything is beautifully clean. Always a real pleasure to visit for lovely coffee and gorgeous homemade cakes. The loo is even lovely !!! You will always be made to feel very welcome and be assured of outstanding service in this unique tea room.

Excellent food. Lovely atmosphere. The afternoon tea looked and tasted divine. Beautiful tableware adding to the experience. Staff were really pleasant & welcoming.

First class ! Just got back from London couldn't find a lot so went to beau !!! Well stress not Fiona was first class helped with everything from top to toe . Mother of the bride outfits to smart day / evening . Went for one outfit got everything under one roof . Amazing with the to sit down with a lovely lunch . We will be back soon Thankyou !

Ladies this is shopping heaven! This is the perfect combination a Boutique and Tea Room all in one! We had the most delicious lunch with girlfriends and perused the beautiful dresses and Christmas gifts in a relaxed environment. I have a wish list and will most definitely be back! Thank you for such a pleasant afternoon and right on my doorstep too!

The exquisite cakes and personal service make this the perfect place to meet with friends and the paninis are delicious -ideal for a after a dog walk or somewhere to meet with girlfriends AND you can look around the boutique I will be back soon to combine tea,cake and shopping for Xmas gifts very soon!

Lovely tea rooms, great lunches and perfect for coffee and cake. Very accommodating staff, will always try and be flexible with the menu. And a chance to browse lovely clothes, shoes, handbags and gifts.

Great little find small boutique with a trio of tables for light snacks or heavy indulgences! we had a toasted goats cheese and red pepper pannini , a chicken and Stilton pannini and a couple of pots of tea and completed the light bite with a couple of gorgeous slices of carrot and passion fruit cake which was lovely a light but topped with a tangy butter cream. We then browsed the clothes and left feeling smug that we had found such a nice girly shop.

Stumbled across this fantastic little tea room in a boutique in Yelverton. It was an ideal stopping place on our last day of cycling the Devon Coast to coast route. Perfect before the last stretch downhill into Plymouth. The tea room served a high tea with a choice of sandwiches and cakes. Good portions, good price, great service and lovely atmosphere.
