Caprio's in Torbay

I came in my lunch break today as I’d passed a few times and wanted to come in. And I’m so glad I did. Having spent 15 years in hospitality management previous to my current job, I can honestly say the experience was absolutely perfect. Attentive staff, great selection on the menu and a nice, clean atmosphere. The rump steak was incredible. Cooked perfectly medium rare and clearly rested well, with a consistent pink throughout and oozing juice. Lovely char on the steak also. I have never had a rump steak that tender. Lovely homemade crispy onion rings, well dressed salad too. I look forward to returning soon. Might even bring the wife. Thanks you all so much!

Expensive food but good quality, not worth visiting as staff seem like they're all awkward 17 year olds and management not attentive

Visited for lunch, this is a relatively new venue. Starting from a friendly welcome to then given an additional option of choice from the evening menu. Lovely smooth coffee ☕ to start then I had the 8oz rump cooked perfectly with fried onions, wife had the tuna mayo with cheese toastie said it's probably one of the best she has ever tasted, son had the house nachos. Great place with a nice atmosphere. Will visit again.

Me and my girlfriend came into caprio’s this morning and got greeted so nicely 10/10 customer service we had a cappuccino and a Cinnabon and it was outstanding. Brilliant!!! We was greeted by Melinda she was lovely

What a wonderful restaurant. Having heard good reviews from some friends I decided to try this place out. One of the best steaks I've ever had. Had calamari to start which was very nice. The staff were brilliant and very friendly. I will be back

We were staying in the area and walking through Paignton chanced on this gem of a restaurant. Although it was busy the staff found us a table and were very attentive and helpful. The food choice was good (we had the Chicken Schnitzel) and when our meals arrived we were extremely impressed both with the quality and quantity offered. Of particular note were the wonderful sauces and the herb dressing on the side salad which was lovely. Would highly recommend a visit

Met with friends here one night on our stay in the local area, don't know where to start! Food absolutely out of this world, some of the best steak I've ever had, cooked to perfection with all the trimmings, amazing! Service was fantastic aswell, our waitress couldn't of been more attentive as we were the only customers in there at one point (it was getting late) and she probably wanted to go home but served us right to the end. Fantastic meal, highly recommend!

Decided to visit after reading the great reviews for this new restaurant in Paignton. Was not disappointed. The staff made us very welcome and the food came out fresh, hot and well presented. Will definitely be returning. As a local Paignton resident it is a pleasure to have such a good restaurant nearby!

3 out of 4 of us had steaks. One Rib-eye / Sirloin / Rump. All great could not believe myne was rump rather than Sirloin. We ate mid-afternnon on a Saturday relatively quiet at that point. All loved our starters / mains / Desserts. My sticky toffee was excellent. Carry on the good work. Wonderful

Went for a lunchtime special at Caprios today. What a treat!!!! The burger was juicy and full of flame grilled flavour, highlighted by a side of onion rings which were unique and delicious and left me wanting more and more! Good Veggie options too! Huge shout out to Chris and his team for bringing a great atmosphere and some South African flavour to town!! I highly highly recommend checking it out!!

We had a brilliant evening at Caprios, the atmosphere and service was great ! Not forgetting the awesome food. We will definitely go again. Very well priced too!!
