Visited Fostons again as is such a great pub in a good location (not far from Cheltenham/Gloucester/Stroud, yet still out in the country). The welcome and friendliness from the staff - Adam, Danni, Beth and Sophie are always amazing, on the ball, professional and polite and always happy to stop for a chat :) The food is amazing and all freshly prepared by chef and owner, Will; and there is a great choice of food and drinks. Plus, they regularly host events as well as having a couple of shepherds huts to hire and stay in. Will be back again before too long!

Cosy little coffee shop to shelter from some showers on a cool June day. We ordered the Dorset Cream Tea, which was more than ample to keep us going on the climb to the castle. Staff were friendly and service was great. The only shame was the fact that they used Cornish cream not Dorset!! While having my tea my wife picked up on a couple speaking Afrikaans near bye. They were also trying to keep out of the "cold". Before we arrived in the UK there was a forcast for a heatwave. However a heatwave in the UK of 25 degrees is just a normal spring day for us. All of us got caught out and need warmer cloths. In fact we spent a number of weeks in the UK and it was the coldest June we could remember. Definitely would recommend this cafe if you are in Corfe either a stop before or after you have visited the castle.

Very strange menu nothing really to my liking and nothing for children either so it’s not somewhere to go with family…… ok ale but the menu needs to be bigger & nothing for a vegetarian my wife has recently become vegetarian for health reasons so we couldn’t eat here & don’t think we will return

Terribly overpriced, over £4 for a weak flat white, fish finger sandwich made with very average supermarket style bread containing basic fish fingers. Two sandwiches and two coffees = £36, including a 10% service charge ! Really poor value for money, very limited pretentious menu. The staff were friendly and the place has a nice ambiance. I won’t be returning due to poor menu, weak coffee, and silly prices.

Staying in beautiful Tetbury and was recommended Cafe53… my husband and I walked in at 11:35 hoping for breakfast we were told that breakfast finished at 11:45 the brunch would begin at 12:00… after deciding what we were having (but knew we couldn’t order before 12) we were then told at 11:55 that the chef has decided not to do brunch and will now continue with the lunch menu only! No apology no explanation, the team were rude and awkward for no reason… I would’ve thought at this time of year you couldn’t afford to turn away customers! It was their loss as we then went to a fantastic restaurant with fantastic service, Blue Zucchini, a real gem!!!

Absolutely awful …. They had nothing on the menus which we wanted and when we ordered you will see what we got on the photos.we waited 1hr 20 mins to get it too!!! The staff kept saying sorry and said no staff in the kitchen - well you should say you can accommodate food then! We only paid for our drinks as the food, waiting time, attitude was appalling!

JAWS I Needed a bigger boat. Fish & Chips tonight the fish was massive hanging over the very large plate and tasted absolutely amazing. You are not going to get a fish that size anywhere close by for the money. I would have taken a photo but I snapped the tail off straight away thinking of my belly as normal. For pud the apple and cinnamon crumble with custard I couldn’t eat anything else I’m stuffed :) Served tonight by Sam who is very welcoming chatty and with a happy smile a great service.

Visited this pub to celebrate my brother's birthday. Being mid-week and off-season, the pub was quite quiet. There were four of us, My brother and sister-in-law, my wife and myself and we chose a table in the airy conservatory. We all chose different mains off the menu, which all arrived promptly, and we're delicious. Being pancake day we asked if there were pancake available for dessert as they weren't on the menu. After enquiring from the chef, we were all able to order pancakes with a variety of different dressings. The service was excellent. All in all, an excellent experience, which I would happily recommend.
