The best restaurants serving British food in South East

M 4 hacia el oeste 15 de diciembre a las 14.30. Espantoso servicio en Costa Coffee - increíblemente lento ya que el personal estaba ocupado charlando en lugar de servir.

Ubicación genial, la comida era increíble, cerveza encantadora y fría. No podía faltar hasta que... .. tuvimos una margarita congelada... .. no una margarita, solo un granizado cordial de cal por £ 8. 50 . Mi opinión sería deshacerme de la mezcla de granizado y hacer una margarita real sobre hielo o simplemente no llamarla margarita.

Nice spot, lovely staff but!! Building in need of updating, and the food is of very low quality, and overpriced, also waited a long time and then part of the order we placed was not ordered by the staff member taking orders! This is a historic venue but sadly it was probably at its best in 1965 😢

I just spent over 30 minutes queueing behind only 5 cars to get to the front and be told hi welcome to kfc can I take your order we only have popcorn chicken and mini fillets left are you for real!!? A multi million/billion pound company and you can’t keep your stores stocked until closing!! Absolute joke!!! Thanks for wasting my time and fuel!!!!!! No offer of compensation just oh I can do a popcorn box meal no I don’t want a popcorn box meal I want a proper meal a burger you know that you should have in at all times the one thing you actually should be making you didn’t even have original chicken 😂 oh and I got a sorry about the wait!!! It’s absolutely laughable this kfc word of advise to anyone visiting the isle of Sheppey don’t go to this kfc in thomsett way your just be queueing for nothing!!!

We only had chips so can not comment on any else but they wee soggy and the oil definitely needs changing as the chips were covered in black bits! Won't be going back!

Previous reviews had always meant that my older wife and I had avoided this motorway (M3 for those unsure ) services but having given birth to several offspring, when she needs to go she needs to go( if you get my drift ). So with a heavy heart and a full bladder we turned off and pulled in to the car park which is quite wonderful with pine trees creating a scandavian feel.( only one troll seen) Loos used with relish ,burgers eaten with ketchup and Waitrose pillaged for gin ! Gaming machines twinkling nearby nearly extracted some of this weeks pension from my first wife but the promise of fruit pastilles drew her back to the car like a siren beckoning lonely sailors in days of yore. Go ,try,make up your own mind and share with other weary travellers.

Cod was lovely, but the chips where so dry considering more expensive than other chippys, savaloy was rock solid too. Bit disappointing

This place is a complete rip-off. We only wanted a cup of tea . First we had to join a queue at three self-serve machines, to get the tea dispensed in a paper cup after finding the teabags on the side. The machines were squeezed so close together that all three couldn't be used at the same time. Then we had to join the queue to pay £3.10 each cup. Then we had to find the sugar and milk on a side table, before then trying to find somewhere to sit !!!! We will definitely NOT be going back here next time we visit The Isle of Wight.

Experiencia horrible. Café regular en una taza pero sin platillo - tampoco cuchara de té - agitadores de madera solamente. Salió de una máquina de pulsadores. Cálido y deshonesto. Pedí pescado con papas fritas. Tampoco cocinado en una freidora de grasa - horno o microondas. Pescado seco. Pedí vinagre... bolsita imposible de abrir. Le pedí ayuda al personal. ¡Trajo otros sobres pero no pudo abrir ninguno! El personal era educado, pero la comida y bebida totalmente basura. ¡Realmente pensarías que M&S podría hacerlo mejor que esto!

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from staff owner/manager completely avoid this place they are scammers they say they have deals on and then try and charge you full price. Please avoid please please please avoid

£12 for 2 0.3bottles of Stell Artois and £6 for 2 sausages for the dog! It was a birthday celebration so my sister paid the prices but it’s very sad that such a great location is abused by the owners!

Mi pareja y yo visitamos este hermoso establecimiento el 28 de diciembre de 2024 después de leer múltiples comentarios diciendo que este lugar no era muy bueno. Pensé que potencialmente este sería un buen momento para comprobarlo. Pedí el desayuno inglés en la tableta en la parte delantera, que llegó a un total de 7 libras británicas. Colocamos el número de mesa en nuestra mesa y la orden llegó en unos seis minutos más o menos. La comida era de una calidad razonable, nada terrible ni nada increíble. Simplemente estaba bien Puedes ver la foto adjunta de mi comida. Para el crédito de otro crítico de restaurante, “youngbob 1 ” había varios niños corriendo alrededor. Uno se acercó a mi comida y la miró antes de proclamar “yuck” y volver corriendo a su mesa. Sin embargo, esto no es culpa de Morrisons, sino de la mala crianza que estamos viendo más. La falta de 5 salidas viene del precio. Siento que esta comida era más en la región de £ 5. 50 - 6 . 40

10/10 if all you want is toast, otherwise it’s just toast so the toast decides for you. Pitiful amount of beans in their breakfast selection. Does it come with butter? Or is it just toast? There comes a point where there just too much toast. Sad sad sad times

Some of the worst staff ever! When I was overcharged for an item that was incorrectly priced I was told I should check the 13 digit bar code instead of the large printed price tag & then told I was rude when I questioned this. What is wrong with these people? Many others have also said how dreadful the staff at this store are. They have no respect for the customers that ultimately pay their wages.

Ok, so the cafe in Canterbury opens @ 8:30, however drinks only! the food is unavailable until 9 am ! the person behind the counter was dressed as if she had just got of her sofa. No uniform did not want to interact with customers. Asda if this is how you run your stores no wonder you are losing market share. Where is the management?? Store standards !? Shame there isn’t 0 star rating
