Morrisons Cafe in Reading

Absolutely disgusting, as soon as we walked in we should have turned around and walked out because almost every table was disgusting. We had to clear our own table before sitting down. I used the QR code to order as there was nobody by the till, I ordered my food using the QR code and then had to go and select my own drinks which one of them was out of stock! I ordered my food at 13:22 and had been sat there for almost an hour; when I made a fuss; I was told that they had no facility to take orders through the QR code and made me write down my order on paper. Food arrived at 14:10, the order was incorrect! I have been here a couple of times now and have not had the best experience but I can promise that I was never eat in this cafe ever again, terrible service, terrible food, terrible process of ordering and getting your food; easier just to go to a normal cafe where they know what they are doing. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Popped into the cafe after shopping in store, only wanted a quick bite to eat, had the ham and cheese sandwich with brown bread, and a cup of tea, the sandwich was absolutely terrible just a soggy mess, couldn’t eat it all, the cup of tea wasn’t any better tasted like ditchwater, left half a cup, whole thing was a total waste of money, also lot of children there, dragging their chairs around which made a awful noise, was glad to get out of the place, won’t be going back.

I come.to this cafe often.i don't think it's that bad as people make.it out to be but everyone's exsperiance is different.the prices aren't too bad and the food is always good portion.i always order the fish and chips as the fish is freshly cooked. Nice and crunchy .would have given it 5 stars but sometimes the customer service can be a let down.as sometimes they are rude and not very friendly.

Welcome to a shoplifting,begging,traveller site!! Breakfast was terrible,had to do a half mile diversion to even get into car park as gates and barrier was closed because of travellers constantly using car park as a toilet and free stay! What amazes me is they even leave the lights on for them at night whilst normal civil paying customers have to struggle with no lights in petrol forecourt and no receipts either,avoid this dump of a shop and take your money elsewhere until they sort all this out and look after the people who actually pay for their shopping and pay their wages!!

I decided on a small breakfast beans, good toast, good sausage, good bacon, very old egg, oily tomato very old Also a hot chocolate very nice

Morrions reading is Proberly the worst supermarket Caffè I've ever been to Ordered a classic xmas dinner for £7.50.when it arrived it looked an absolute shambles.cheap turkey slice .very dry veg.cramberry sauce was all jelly didn't eat it.definatley not worth the £7.50 I paid for it.save your money and eat elsewhere.service very slow and food is crap

The food was horrible it was cold it mank my mum suffers with heart failure and she evan eat the food to take her medication with the staff is rude and disrespectful they need to learn manners especially with with hidden disability the surve people with a different number than us and ours was before you find hair in your food the tables are nearly black I would recommend this disgusting place to eat it needs refurbishing and probably shutting down need a full inspection I will never be eating in here again my mum has suffered with food poisoning I wouldnt sit on these seats with nice clothes on as there will have Mark's on or dirty and the tables always have rubbish on them I wouldnt eat in this place again evan if someone paid me

Popped in here for a tea (8.45am) whilst my car was being serviced nearby. They have obviously turned the heating off or forgot to turn it on. It was just uncomfortably cold and is not a nice experience when eating or drinking. To be honest, I've noticed a few establishments turning heating off to save money and it's understandable, but I've never seen a reduction in their product prices when they are saving money elsewhere.

I ordered the small breakfast. I don't eat bacon so I had to pay extra £1 to add a sausage in replacement of the bacon. Nice coffee and the sausage was really nice. It is a really small portion so if you are adult do not ordered the small breakfast and remember you can not replace any item on the menu. Lady at the till wasn't happy to be there. Overall ok. Small breakfast and coffee was a total of £7.87.

Currently in Ross on Wye Morrisons. £2.99 for a very small bowl of porridge with a few berries. 99p for a very small slice of toast, came with cm square of butter and no jams. I could have gone into the store and bought the loaf for a pound. My husband had the small fry up, sausage was cremated but better value at 99p. Coffee nice. Cleanliness not brilliant, nothing looks cleaned properly

Awful ordering system long wait for breakfast. Indifferent staff. I came here hoping for a quick breakfast. Overcooked egg and cheap sausage

As I didn't eat breakfast I am unable to comment. The reason being, after I had made my order using the automated menu, I discovered there was 25 minute wait. May I suggest going forward, if there is a wait for any meal, place a note saying so on the automated menu, or incorporate it in the menu, I.e when total comes up for purchases, a least this way I have a choice to cancel my order.

We waited approx one and half hours for fish and chips, in the Stratford cafe. They were very mediocre/disappointing when the arrived. They also told us half an hour after we had placed the order that they didn't have my first choice (not sure why we weren't told straight away, and asked for alternative order). The lady on another table ordered the vegetarian beakfast, and was given a meat breakfast with bacon, and sausages. Another guy had to wait 20 minutes to pay for a cup of tea, as the lady on the till had done a disappearing act. Another lady was begging them for some bead and butter for her child, as they'd been waiting for so long and the child was crying. We have found often the only things available are either the fish and chips, OR the breakfast - despite them having quite a large menu. having been several times, think we have finally learnt our lesson NOT to go again. The managers are not trained to deal with customer complaints, hopeless. Avoid this place.

Went here today for 3 breakfasts, myself my wife and best mate. The food is overcooked, what they think are two rashers of bacon turned out to be two very small cuts of what looks like cooking bacon. I had some mayonnaise on my breakfast and then realised that all the packets of mayonnaise are two months out of date. I have been two and from the toilet with it coming out of both ends for the last few hours. I dread to think what date is on the food they are serving. Will not be returning.

I buy groceries from Morrison’s regularly, however I thought I would try the cafe with my family, and I can honestly say that I regret it. Firstly I had to wait for a while at the till, then I looked to find someone to call to the till. Eventually I found a college who took my order & told me that kids eat free. However, The Kids eat free if an adult spends over £5.. is NOT TRUE!!! The staff told me to wait at the table for the manager to give me a refund for the children’s meal.. that didn’t happen. The manager turned up and said even though my jacket potato meal is over £6, it somehow doesn’t qualify for kids eat free. The staff had no idea.. the small print didn’t state it at all... it would have been nice to be told BEFORE I ordered. The staff needs to be trained. The Menu needs to be less ambiguous. The food needs to arrive quicker. It is not value for money at all- a small plate of jacket pototo, little bit of cheese and a tiny pot of beans. Instead buy potato’s, beans and cheese from Morrison’s groceries, and make it at home yourself. Nice of you to exploit parents of young children Looking for value for money. I did not enjoy the experience, I will not be coming again and do not recommend to friends and family.

Full English Breakfast & Coffe was £7+ It consisted of: Bacon barely cooked, yet rubbery and tasteless. Toast burned on the outside and wet in the middle. Baked beanz, just cold. Black pudding, dry and crunchy. Hash Browns were edible, just. Sausages, good, though they were the cheap variety made of mostly spiced bread. And.. I've saved the worst till last.. the mushroom - lol. I think it had been boiled in fatty water. The skin was tough and slimey, and the body was.. well that put the "mush" in Mushroom. A total mess, 10am 28/6/21 who was the cook ? Service was actually good, friendly and efficient. Next time.. well there won't be a next time, but if you walk towards Halfords, there is a Subway and a Costa on the corner ;-)

Sat here now just finished my £5.50 breafast its the size of a kids meal wont be back again used to be so good

Decided to go for breakfast in morrisons teeside park before setting off on our holiday . When we arrived we were told that there was no bacon mushrooms hash browns buns scrsmbled eggs or poached eggs . This is not the first time it has hsppened.

Had a lunch for three in Morrisons cafe today and got 3 teas, Sunday brunch, ham and eggs and scampi and chips for £8. The staff saw us at a small table and moved us to a larger table and fetched us toast and sauce. Everything was well cooked and they were run off their feet but were polite, friendly and first class. Feel really guilty for taking all this for £8. Well done Morrison’s Kirkcaldy!

Los clientes que tocan los menús cerca de la caja y no los limpian, esto es una propagación de Covid esperando que suceda y no regresarán porque no se sentían seguros.

Terrible. Most items were not available. No social distancing going on at all. You have a supermarket full of food but can't stock up the cafe. Crazy

I should have read the reviews and reconsidered. To be honest scrambled egg should be moist but it was dry Toast was burned How difficult is it to cook it?

Cheap and excellent service and the food was perfect. That my 100% opinion, there is a old saying u can't please some people no matter how you try, but sadly u get some people like that who got to moan and complain for no reason as to me it was perfect food and service and at a great price if it, was not I tell the truth that it wasent, but it was perfect..

Went in for toast and soft eggs, brought it out with hard eggs, tells the lady who brings them out( same lady who served me ) I asked for soft eggs so goes away leaves the plate makes fresh eggs brings them back to me 7mins later asking do I want fresh toast, obviously if the toast is cold but then the eggs would be cold, can’t even listen and get orders right

As usual the quality of the breakfasts at Morrisons was excellent.The price as usual was cheap but be prepared to sit around for half an hour waiting for it.The lady who brought our breakfasts was not happy about something clearly- nothing to do wit us.I get the feeling that the wheels are falling off every which way in Morrisons Reading.

Cleanliness is not top of the list, really slow service, orders are usually wrong in some way.Place feels depressing and feels like it needs a good scrub!The hot drinks are self service from a machine, which is so slow usually has a queue.Tea tasted funny, had to use a disgusting teapot and a tea bag, and fill with hot water.In the end 40 mins for poached egg on toast (twice) with bacon, bacon was missing, but to be fair hastily got. The food was very good.

I ordered a Sunday roast and waited for 15 minutes to be told that the roast chicken was not available. Okay the cafe wasn’t busy and it took so long to tell me and was offered a breakfast instead. I chose to have fish and chips and waited another 20 minutes for what I can only describe as cold food dumped on a plate. The fish was burnt and the beans and chips were cold. I don’t know what the ball of black stuff was but can only think it was extra. I won’t be visiting Morrison’s cafe in Wellington Telford again. As for complaining to a member of staff was fruitless or the lack of staff who were dealing with wrongly served food to other customers. In summary Dreadful service and awful food.

I love an English breakfast.my first visit to morrisons Harwichit was the best breakfast I have ever had.The bacon the eggs the sausage and all other bits were cooked to perfectionI am still talking about it to people how good it was. well done morrisons I will definitely be popping in again.Graham Bartholomew

I've stopped at Hastings Morrisons for breakfast twice now, and it just gets worse.The food was tasteless, burnt and not very warm upon arrival. I would say they are using cheap food in the cafe, and it shows. I just couldn't eat it in the end.

Thought id try it, thought custom breakfast with poached eggs and a coffee would be good for a cold rainy morning at 8:30am, after paying i was told all hot drinks were off, then later told they 'have no poached eggs left' but was given scrambled instead, also noticed i paid 75p for a half of a small tomato.. poor treatment and terrible service, went to McDonalds for a coffee and a mcmuffin afterward..

Popped in for a quick cuppa with mum only to wait 40 minutes for a pits in blanket butty, for it to arrive with very little sausages in & not all wrapped in a blankets not worth a 5 minute wait.

We were visiting Reading from NZ and staying at a hotel; we needed a laundrette and found one opposite Morrison's Supermarket. So, twice when we were there we put our laundry on and headed to Morrisons cafe for lunch.

Good hot food as expected at Morrison as well as good service and value for money. You mainly get this from them throughout the country well done.

Dirty tables at 10.15 on Sunday morning. Front of house staff with dirty aprons. Messed up orders. Received toast we hadn't ordered. Needs a wake up call.

We called in for quick lunch the shop was packed the cafe packed the manager was helping clear the tables. However still the food arrived quickly hot and tasty the waitress was very helpful and nothing was too much problem

We were at Morrisons yesterday we had a main, a side and a sweet between the two of us. Not one of the meals were good. The main had been over warmed as the gravy was burnt to the plate. the side of chips was tasteless. and the desert was over sweet and not good tasting. On saying this we did not get what we originally went for as it was sold out. It is a good job from our perspective that we know not all meals are this bad.

Shocked to see on the bbc news of the animals abuse of one of your suppliers what will you be doing about this ?

Vine a Morrison con mi familia y esperé 25 minutos a que llegara la comida que estaba fría. Todos teníamos un desayuno y todos se quejaban de que hacía frío, el cutterly estaba sucio y el plato. 20 para la comida basura! El servicio era pobre, así como los camareros. Nos dijeron que solo había huevos fritos disponibles aunque había revuelto y escalfado que no estaban disponibles. Las bandejas y la mesa también estaban sucias. Definitivamente no vale la pena la espera o el dinero no volverá

Fuimos a la cafetería ordenados hoy en el autoservicio que era bueno. Me preparé una moca seleccionada de café y tomé un capuchino frío, así que usé otra máquina con éxito.

Visited Morrison’s Totton and had the worst breakfast ever, 30minute wait for two cooked breakfasts. Food was cold on arrival and microwave after complaining. The eggs where hard. I wouldn’t bother visiting Totton Morrison’s for breakfast.

Absolutely appalling, the food ordered was 2x builders butty no bap’s had bread, food was cooked but came out cold the sausages were burnt so was the hash browns,you couldn’t even cut them with a knife, so horrible, will not return

Visited the cafe on Wednesday the 13th of Feb. We ordered the mini fish and chips it looked nice until we found two long hairs in the mushy peas.we will not visit this cafe again as we have lost faith. Regards Beverley Kelly

Como estaba en Morrison's Early, pensé que me iba a dar el desayuno, así que pedí un inglés completo. Me sorprendió cuando me preguntaron qué hacer. Toud de setas Pudín negro. Tenía la impresión de que todo era parte de un inglés completo, mi error. Obviamente, el servicio fue bastante bueno cuando llegó mi desayuno, se ve muy bien, es una pena que fuera un poco fría. El tocino se veía como si hubiera sido cocinado una vez y se dejara secar apenas podía cortarlo ¿Por qué parece tan difícil en estos Supermercados cafés y restaurantes para cocinar un buen desayuno. No volveré.

Went in for breakfast at 10.30 on Sunday , there were no more than ten people seated and over half of them were already eating, I was very casually informed that there was a 45 minute wait.

great choice of menu,presented well,hot when served.rita,sam and maureen are lovely cheerful staff,its a clean cafe very busy at times that you have to wait a while for your order,could do with more staff but the ladies still have lovely smiles under pressure.well done ladies

Ok so .. the food (when it arrives) is ok, in fact quite tasty. As it should be they are using own products so makes sense to produce something tasty. The problem is ... waiting, a couple of times there it was almost as if the order was forgotten! People who came in after me getting served etc. Still after saying that, good value for money

Went to Morrison's cafe at Rubery on the 21st September. I had double egg and chips and my friend had sausage and Mash. We ordered and paid sat down and waited for a good 40 minutes. When it was served to us both meals were cold. The chips were horrible cold and really greasy the eggs were undercooked and cold.this was left as I think if you order hot food it should be served hot. The sausage and Mash were also cold. What complete and utter waste of money. The staff in the cafe are really uncaring and could not gave cared less. I will never eat food in any of the Morrisons cafes again

i dont like these review sites as some people write reviews for the enjoyment but after having a breakfast in Llanelli store today with my husband i had to say what we thought! service poor on the till, was told they had run out of mushrooms, Hello its a supermarket, im sure they had plenty for sale! we were we could have something else so ordered extra egg each ( which were like rubber!) toast came out anaemic with a small bit of spread on the corner ( spot the spread) hashbrown hardly cooked and fried bread same, just full of grease , tomato, beans and sausage were ok but bacon NO COMMENT! PAID £16.10 :( - really need this cafe checked out! very disappointed

The staff are always friendly and the breakfasts good. Although we have only eaten there at breakfast times, the menu looks quite extensive and there is a pleasant coffee area where you can sit and enjoy a drink and a chat with friends.

Couldn’t fault the breakfast that I had today at Morrison in Tavistock. The staff are always friendly, never had a bad meal there.

Alternative to World Turned Upside Down. Clean, tidy, staff and food excellent. Good value for money.

Nunca antes había puesto una cuchara en una sopa y la masticaba semi, la sopa todavía tenía el agujero desde donde se tomaba la cucharada. Plato principal bien ish. El helado del desierto necesitaba un martillo y un ataque de cincel.

Just a couple of coffees and cake to accompany. Nice and cheap with cheery staff so not too bad. Negatives, tables not tidied so limited seating and very limited in our choice of GF cakes but all in all ok.

Ordered fried egg on toast this morning and when it arrived the eggs were cold , very disappointed 😔

I popped in after work, saw that the had a 'Special' deal on Sausage, egg, beans and chips at £3.00... so I ordered that with a mug of tea... £5.50..., I queried it... and was told that an evening meal with a drink is £5.50.., tea is £1.10... so after much discussion it was re-entered into the till... £4.75... I checked the receipt and I had been charged for a Latte... not a tea...

Love the food under 4000 cal. Tryed red curry, delicious and salmon with asparagus and spinach. Very well done Morisons as really didn't expect to be so good. And kids eat free it's like a cherry on a cake.

I took my nan here for lunch (her choice!) along with my son and father. I don't normally complain but felt I needed to warn others! We decided what we wanted and ordered, 2 ham egg and chips, a burger and an omelette. We were told they had run out of burgers and omelettes so we had to choose somethin else?! We're in Morrisons! How can you run out of burgers?? Apparently they're not allowed to buy food from the store due to allergy reasons. Morrsisons, are you telling us that you don't use your own products in your cafe? Also, clearly you have eggs as we've ordered ham, egg and chips..... But you've run out of omelettes?!

Después de comprar unos artículos que tenía un pequeño desayuno en la cafetería, recientemente reformada. Me recibieron con una sonrisa y un asistente muy educado en el till (Corinne creo) y dijo que "lamentablemente hubo un tiempo de espera de unos 20 minutos, fue que está bien? "Me dijeron que sí y tomó mi bebida y sentado en una de las sillas muy cómodas. La comida llegó y yo estaba muy satisfecho con ella. Muy bien hecha y degustación realmente bueno. El espacio ha sido bien utilizada con muebles decentes y decoración. Una gran mejora sobre el café antiguo que era terrible. Felicitaciones a Morrisons y su personal.

Este café es bien merece una visita si estás fuera de compras, hay algo para satisfacer a todo el mundo de tentempiés fríos a comidas calientes y el servicio es generalmente muy bueno.

La comida y la presentación en este lugar es terrible! Parece que necesitan un supervisor eficiente para supervisar las cosas. No creo que el personal he ido a la escuela y nada es profesional. La comida no está hecha y parece que sus tiradas en la placa por personal ineficiente. No puedo creer que si la orden es ya tostadas con mantequilla - ¿qué? ?

Arrived at 1230 and ordered a baby breakfast. No activity at all in the kitchen and by 1pm I was fed up and hungry as the food looked pretty good to me. Asked for my money back and it was returned promptly by a very polite cashier. As I left I checked at least 8 patiently waiting customers -they all seen to accept the delay with British stoicism. I asked on Morrisons website that someone who knows what they are doing is put in charge - reply came there none. Oh dear.

Food's always good but what I find annoying is that every time we've been (once a week) we've had to clear the table from the last customer. I've never seen anyone clean or wipe a table the most I've seen is 3 or 4 tables having items removed to a tray holder. It's such a shame to spoil a good experience with the family.

Cheap ....the foods ok not the best ! but you get what you pay for so no complaints there . Beans and food came out piping hot and quick which is good in a place that's serving so many.

Supermarket ingredients, supermarket cafe, supermarket price and it's absolutely brilliant. Food served 10 minutes after ordering - hot, well cooked and really tasty. Lovely staff, clean and tidy place - two cooked breakfasts, a pot of tea and a milk cost less than £11.00 - excellent.

Came in here whilst waiting for my mot at Kwik Fit across the road.The menu is extensive and the service is friendly but the quality of my food was not good. I had steak and ale pie- the pastry was extremely soggy, the peas were thoroughly over cooked and the gravy was watery and tasteless. The steak was OK but the pie itself was let down by the taste- or lack of it!

Great place to go during the day for good quality quickly served hot food, when you haven't time to wait 20 minutes or more to get served.A colleague suggested it - I was unaware this café existed - I guess it was introduced when the store was refit a few years ago. Was pleasantly surprised by the standards and service and will definitely go back. There's a few local pub/restaurants that could learn a thing or two from this superstore café!

Once we got to the till to pay this is were we ordered breakfast from. Their was a place to order at the beginning serving area, but this was not personed.So we wait for a while, while it was cooked fresh for us.On the list to eat here again when staying local

This is a great place for lunch, either before or after shopping at the store. My husband and I stopped here last week and weren't disappointed with the quality or price of the fish & chips served in the Morrisons Reading store

I tend to come here once or twice a week for a light lunch. I usually have the breakfast omelette which come with baked beans and mushrooms and I think this is very good value, especially as these are proper tasty mushrooms, not the bland button variety. Service can be slow so I try to get here for 11:30 before the rush. For the price you pay I think you can do far worse than to eat here.

Poor experience today. Came in for breakfast this morning. Good took 30 mins to.arrive despite only having 4 people in the cafe. Food was cold. Hair found on plate and eggs were hard. The good price was ruined by the quality of food. Back to sainsbury for us.

Stopped off with my mum and dad as dad fancied a quick fish and chips which is apparently good in their Morrisons near Salisbury. Ordered fish and chips and two veggie lasagnes. Time on receipt 4.01 pm At 4.30 food turned up. Fish and chips was fine (hence they get one star even though it took forever when the café was almost empty) . . lasagne STILL FROZEN in the middle!!!! I had eaten one mouthful from the outside and thought it was not very hot but was horrified the centre still had ice crystals in it. Gave both lasagnes back. No sorry just 'we will give them a bit longer!!!' As these are MICROWAVED and had already taken half an hour to produce I expected them back in another four or five minutes. Sat and ate garlic bread . . . . then ate the chips . . . . then asked where the lasagnes were . . . . Dad finished his fish and chips and then the lasagnes came back. This time burnt to the sides of the bowl - yes very hot but half inedible. I do not often write really bad reviews as there is usually something good to say about a place but it was AWFUL. Service was poor - from arrival at the food counter we had to find someone to take our order as it seemed almost unmanned (maybe having a chat in the kitchen as the cooks obviously were not doing much cooking) - to the lasagne being plonked back down after reheating with no word of apology. Needless to say I would not eat at Morrisons café again even if they paid me. The lasagne even when hot was so garlicky and full of tinned type mushrooms it was fairly ghastly. Sorry Morrisons EPIC FAIL.

I grabbed a quick all-day-breakfast with my elderly mother before returning to the States and thoroughly enjoyed it. A 'Full English' is my guilty pleasure every time I return to the UK, and I've tried a number of cafés/pubs/restaurants. Morrison's offering was a pleasant surprise and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Bacon, sausage, etc. were plentiful and delicious. My mum suffered a stroke two years ago and visits Morrison's cafe twice a week with her carer. I was amazed how many of the staff knew her and greeted her so warmly. I now know why she goes there so often. It's somewhere she see friendly, familiar faces, have a tasty cooked meal - and stock up on cream cakes afterwards! Thanks to all the staff at Morrisons, Basingstoke Road in Reading for making a little old lady feel so special.

Regularly go for catch up with my dad and the food and service is great we go for breakfast there and catch up, queuing may be little busy but that's like any place? And lots of tablets to sit and talk, price is reasonable and proportions is good. Friendly staff but could do with a little more staff possibly.

Excellent service. Quick and speedy. I ordered sausage chips and beans. Simple but tasty.Friendly staff and good service.

The main problem here are the very long queues and lack of staff. Solution install a second till for those just wanting a drink and snack. Employ more staff to clear tables and get meals out faster. Can no longer go at lunchtime as I only get one hour and you spend so long in the queues for just a sandwich and drink.

Have been here for breakfast before on a Saturday and for what you pay, at the time I would say it was fairly satisfactory. ...... until recently that is . The last time I came about two months ago I wasn't particularly hungry so I went for a simple bacon roll . Roll was fresh but the bacon was wafer thin and aneamic ( grey looking) Not what we were normally used to being served before or even from a roadside breakfast wagon. We were in a hurry today and although reluctant I was hoping to have a better experience as my partners was ok last time, so I though perhaps a one off . Wrong . We ordered two alternative breakfasts - egg ( getting to this in a bit ) bacon (grey and thin again) beans (ok) mushrooms ( wrinkled) chopped tomatoes ( ok) and hash browns ( partners ok - mine were burnt on the outside but undercooked in the middle so inedible) . . The main gripes were the eggs - my partners was oily and over- fried with black and crispy bits throughout and the middle was hard boiled .I t was so unappetizing that he forked it off his plate onto the table complaining that it was putting him off the rest of his meal . Mine was oily but ok around the white, like his though the middle was hard boiled .As other parts of my meal were inedible I lost confidence on the care that went into it and resigned to just eating the toast . We put both the eggs on the tray off our plates with a message - would YOU eat this ?. I don't complain in restaurants and this is my first review ever on trip advisor, I just normally vote with my feet. On this occasion I feel insulted that any chef, waiter or waitress could even have the kind of blaze attitude where it is ok to send out and serve anything to anybody that they wouldn't feed to their own dog but think it's ok to put in front of someone who paid for it ! Poor show Morrison's, you boast market street fresh produce but are clearly not using it in your own cafe , your chef can not cook properly and your wait staff are not pulling him/ her up on it . Should never of left the kitchen, destined for the bin . . Avoid .

My wife and I stopped off to do some shopping and decided to have our evening meal in the cafe. Have previously eaten in other Morrison's cafes and always found them to be clean with good service. Got there at 16.00 and ordered two fish and chips plus two pots of tea. The server advised that it was now the evening menu therefore the drinks were free and it was 2 meals for £8 !!!!!!!!.The fish was very fresh, beautifully cooked in a crisp batter and the chips were light and fluffy with a choice of garden or mushy peas. The meal was very good, eaten in a bright airy cafe and absolutely amazing value.Well done Morrisons !!!!!!!
