Morrisons Cafe in Swale

I just spent over 30 minutes queueing behind only 5 cars to get to the front and be told hi welcome to kfc can I take your order we only have popcorn chicken and mini fillets left are you for real!!? A multi million/billion pound company and you can’t keep your stores stocked until closing!! Absolute joke!!! Thanks for wasting my time and fuel!!!!!! No offer of compensation just oh I can do a popcorn box meal no I don’t want a popcorn box meal I want a proper meal a burger you know that you should have in at all times the one thing you actually should be making you didn’t even have original chicken 😂 oh and I got a sorry about the wait!!! It’s absolutely laughable this kfc word of advise to anyone visiting the isle of Sheppey don’t go to this kfc in thomsett way your just be queueing for nothing!!!

Waited 15 minutes in the drive through ended up going in to see where the order was, it was chaos in there we was told that they was waiting on chicken but just eat was going straight in and back out again with their orders done before people that had been waiting on top of that the order was wrong and the the only KFC that I know that seems to have too many chicken legs because that’s all they seem to give you terrible service no drinks that we ask for, it seems to me that they like to concentrate on their home delivery and not the customers stood in front of them.

Ordered 2 chicken fillets, chips, some sides and chicken wings. We were in the drive through and after a while was asked to park up. No problem, but we waited a long time, over 20 mins or so before the food appeared. When I got home the chicken wings were missing and I could not be bothered to drive back. Did try to ring, but after ringing for a while a message came up too busy to answer the call. By the way the chips were all cold and soggy. Not a good experience

Shocking service Face pulled by cashier was not inspiring when asked for a Clean tray... Counter was dirty and there is a strange smell coming from the floor (like old milk) Came in for something to eat and noticed nothing was wiped down and my flip flop came off due to the thickness of the spilled food and drinks mashed together into the laminate flooring This was 10:45 on a sunday so i would have guessed as open for 45minutes it would have been more respectable for anyone + public should endure There was no tongs for the cakes And we heard 3 other customers complaining in a not very diplamatic shame but the words and service is still apparent Its simple Clean cloths work My biggest gripe here is not that the entire restaurant was unhygienic and WELL below Par to the basics of what you would exect But it was the attitude of the older lady cashier When politely presented with the statement "Sorry about no tray my love... it apears there isnt any clean ones. So we will be taking just the plates through (but had to lift them due to the counter being sticky) the face of disregard and bother was the Shocking bit One human being expressimg duty of care in a polite manner was met with a shoulder shrug and disrespect Nice... well done Morisons in queenborough sheppy Please stay away That being said we hild no undue malice to food places bar the ones they should hold up Xx

Had a cold hard breakfast never again total rank even the egg and beans were cold,,I wont be going there again

Don’t waste your time here - never seen such poor customer service. It’s quicker and nicer to rear a chicken from an egg.. feel sorry for the staff as they must dread coming into work.

I come here for the 10 mini fillet deal to have for dinner as I hadn’t eaten all day and was starving I woke up the following day with bad diarrhoea and bad stomach pains all day long and all night too I’m still not 100% today speaking to a friend and my mum both of them had the same experience from this place I don’t think I’ll be going back there again.

Absolutely disgusting. Ordered Boneless banquet go large. No fries not large. Chicken strips and fries . 12 fries . Stone cold. Customer service . None . Will never go there again

Will never order from here again, food tasted disgusting, chicken tasted dirty like it had been cooked in very old fat, all went in the bin, how they are still trading is beyond me

I’ll keep this short and sweet. KFC can never be described as gourmet food but it’s generally a safe bet. Sheppey KFC is probably the worst tasting kfc I have ever frequented. Taste wise, the food is ok 5/10 but the gravy is so watery it’s unreal. They’re often out of basic kfc foods such as boneless fillets, pop corn chicken and krushems. It’s frustrating that a kfc can be so short of such common products

Even tho tables are supposed to be cleaned and wiped over before seating found the table unwiped and when asked was given cloth to wipe down yourselves then waited over 20 mins for x2 breakfast to arrive and to say was not nice is an understatement. Hash browns burnt, tomatoes undercooked, bacon limp and flaccid not coloured in anyway, toast and fried slice missing off one order. both plates seemed to have the food thrown on with out any presentation skills, ok it's a breakfast but still should look pleasing to the eye. Fried slice on other plate was running with oil from being deep fried. waited for condiments to arrive plus missing items which never did where upon manager was called so we could raise our grievance. Wont be using again even though partial refund was given. Overall not a pleasant experience.

Have visited the morrisons cafe. To be greeted by Rosie, no matter how heavy the work load is she is always smiling, a great asset to the business, just could do with a hand now and again. P. S great food aswell.

Had a nice day out at Sheerness Beach, went and parked at the nearby Tesco's and on the way back, decided to make use of the Eat Out to Help Out scheme! I got myself a Zinger Rice Box - came with salad, barbeque beans, tex-mex steamed rice and a really nice mayo dressing. I also asked for some supercharger sauce on top, which some KFCs are reluctant to give - the customer service was top notch and the restaurant kept clean with hand sanitisers with staff providing sprays and cloths for customer use. Will definitely come back next time when I go to the beach!

Waited ages to even get in to sit down For a table was waiting ages for our food to arrive to be told they didn’t have some of the things We had ordered food wasn’t great at all

We went into the restaurant after shopping today and decided on a big daddy breakfast...staff very helpful and friendly..but sadly breakfast wasn't very good ...black pudding really hard didn't eat that .So it was changed for bacon that was really dried out and hard ......

If you want food don't be late. They ran out of things quite often. If you want it warm. I was just you only go when the chef there. If you want soup, I suggest you take your own spoon if you buy a takeaway....

Called in for a cooked lunch, 1.30pm. Staff advised `unable to serve any cooked food` - the chef had gone home. Asked if they could even do toast as a snack, but was told that health and safety issues prevent anyone not qualified from doing...

Very disappointed, considering its a supermarket they had run out of most of the items on the menu,would have to think twice before going again

Popped in for a bite to eat as we had time on our hands. We both ordered fish and chips with some bread and butter. I’ve got a small appetite so ordered the mini fish and chips for £4 and my other half had the large fish and chips for £6ish. The fish was fresh and well cooked, the chips were hot and chunky. More than enough food in each portion. Excellent and tasted really good.

I was working on Sheppey for a few months so decided to have lunch here several times. What a mistake. I had to wait a few times, 20 mins for a breakfast. Other 2 times I walked out as the food timing went up to minimum 30 min wait, not even busy! On one occasion there was not one cleared table in the whole restaurant, piled with plates and cups, no coffee or chocolate machine either, absolutely disgraceful. I think there were 3 people in kitchen/service zone, not their fault..... it’s managers. Did I complain? Yep, to Rick a duty manager on 2 occasions. He reported it to middle manager, a young lady. She met me while waiting! I mean, I had enough time after all! Apologies given. bla bla, free coffee bla bla. A week later, same problem. Spoke to middle manager again, same ole staff problem bla bla. She took my e mail and promised a full investigation as it was a joke, I wasn’t the only one for goodness sake, lots of people unhappy about it. I’m still waiting for said investigation and report....... thanks Miss Middle Manager. I had to go to KFC opposite, a cardinal sin in my eyes, guess what.... no hot drinks as no caps for their cups. Haha, you couldn’t make this up. Cheese sandwiches from home now.

Disappointing only had breakfast and drinks asked for poached eggs got told the cook could not cook them so had fried when it finally came toast was cold and going hard eggs was hard and crispy took a long time coming tables was stacked up and not cleared NEEDS MORE STAFF and stop the ones that are serving having chit chats with customers and serve waiting customers very disappointing think I’ll avoid next time

Had 2 big daddy breakfasts. Fried eggs were solid and rubbery. Mushrooms too greasy. Fried bread appeared to be microwaved to reheat, and was solid as a brick. Inedible! Bacon barely cooked, fatty and stringy. Raw tomatoes as opposed to grilled, fried or canned. Weird! Toast burnt. Only redeeming item was the sausages, but even they had been kept hot or reheated like the rest. On the plate at the end was a puddle of oil or fat. Horrible altogether. Never again.

i was told it would take upto 1/2 hour. sure enough it took 1/2 hour. i'd drank my coffee, the toast was cold and rock hard. the breakfast was warm at best. not worth the wait. has to be down to the staff.

The food is good value for money, and staff are very polite.my sister and I pop in there for a coffee and a chat every so often,and sometimes meet our friends in the cafe,thank you Morrisons.

After shopping here we usually stop for a snack and we tried the fish and chips. Has to be one of the best in the area. Batter on the fish is great, looking forward to my next shop!

Have eaten at many different Morrisons. A favourite has been lamb shank. Still on the menu but apparently don’t do it any more. Ordered the mushroom tart but then told at the cashier they had got it wrong hadn’t got any. They recommended the pie. 45 minute wait. Could have a free refill of drink but the coke was flat. At checkout was told we had declined the kids sundae but hadn’t been offered any. 45 minutes later told no pie!!!! Can only say the apple pie was lovely, even the fish was poor today normally the best!! So they knew they had no pie but even then sold some to an OAP’s whilst getting a refill, once he was sitting down then told him no pie no lamb no beef. Taking money on false pretences, poor man didn’t seem to know if to ask for his money back or gave something he didn’t want!

Good food for price just right for when out and bout doing food shopping in area and around nests court

Went here with mum and dad couple of weeks ago was a good breakfast and very good for money. Had a the large breakie.

Always find this place value for money don’t expect it to be like the savoy because it’s a lot cheaper. Staff very good and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Menu has a nice variety of food and you do get what you pay for

I wouldn't normally dine in a supermarket cafe,and on arrival it was apparent that it was understaffed with one staff member Manning the till and serving food to quite a few patrons.The reason I'm taking time to submit this review is to praise said staff member (Becky,on her name badge) She is a credit to Morrisons,a pleasant demeanor,hard working,and an example of what all restaurant staff should strive to be. The food wasn't to bad either.

This cafe always produces lovely food and has lots of choice across the board. However, staff need a better understanding of customer care, they can often be slow to reduce the queue and also to replenish cutlery, serviettes, cups, condiments.

Good for a cheap breakfast or brunch with the added bonus of kids eat free after three so very handy if we have the grandchildren over.

We have used the cafe at Morrison’s for a number of weeks now, whilst working locally, and have been pleased with the food on offer & the attitude of the staff at all times.

Have tried breakfast about three times here and each time food took an age to come and was nearly always cold can't say I will try again, and could not recommend this place

If you shop at Morrison's and enjoy nice selection of food then the cafe is perfect, nice staff polite and helpful, the food is good the only suggestion to make is to order and do your shop if its busy as there can be a wait during the cafes peak times

Food is good for price you get what you pay for the handy thing is you can eat then shop and it’s staff are friendly

We went here for breakfast this morning we asked for no mushrooms and we had a lot of them, and the breakfast was cold I thought the microwave was there to heat up baby food obviously it was for any food brought there. We won’t be going there to eat again

My Wife and I just had an evening meal here. We couldn't be bothered to coof and didn't fancy a takeaway.

Very efficient staff who run a clean cafe/restaurant. Quality food at basement prices. Obviously no booking but plenty of room. Nice to sit with the kids whilst mum shops in peace.. variety of drinks on offer...

Decidimos ir a un desayuno morrisons y ojalá no había perdido mi tiempo. Todo estaba bien de ordenar nuestra comida en un cajero agradable que parecía en control, hasta nos sentamos a que habíamos pedido nuestro desayuno y tuvimos que esperar más de 45 minutos...

Mi hija y yo a menudo parada aquí para el desayuno, el personal es servicial, necesidades dietéticas especiales se cumplen para requisitos especiales. Usted puede elegir su propia selección y de la manera que se prepara; no mantequilla en tostadas, huevos escalfados no fritos, etc....

Buenas comidas y el tamaño de la porción, una delicia después de ir de compras que no banco. Un montón de opciones diferentes para satisfacer las necesidades de todos los seres

Café y sándwich y café precio razonable bien. No estaba muy impresionado con Morrison's como una tienda en mi primera visita. No vamos regularmente.

Very busy slow service food edible not over nice it is what it is cheap supermarket cafe food not over hot once meal came out took twenty five minute to get poached eggs on toast that was rock hard and toast cold sure won't be eating there again

Food was nice great value and was hot , shame about the air con being on when it's -1 outside I asked for this to be switched off and it never happend the restaurant was unkept table littered and the floors but seem to be enough staff

This has to be the worst possible place to go for breakfast.I am a retired merchant navy cook so know what I am talking about.This is the very worst standard of cooking available on the planetIf you ask for fried bread you will need a hammer and chisel and possible assistance to cut what I thought must be a concrete slate from the pyramids in Egypt. So dissapointed that we had to pay for concrete and rubber eggs.

Average food, the fry up was nice. Sometimes service takes awhile. If you're after luxury nosh go elsewhere but ideal for a cheap quickish lunch.

A long long wait, so be prepared. Arrived and has a long wait, staff could have informed us there was a wait, we waited 45 minutes for a breakfast. Went from being comfortably hungry to sickie feeling of starving...

Sometimes stop here for a coffee before shopping. They do a good brekkie. Food is good and reasonably priced. Staff are good and prices not to shabby. Worth a look in from time to time

on our way back from whitstable we stopped for a snack. Staff attentive and considerate, not something we has encountered in a Morrisons in London. I had a burger and my friend a jacket potato with prawns.

Had a mid day break from shopping in Morrison the food was avert good selection a bit pricey for sandwiches

We used Morrisons Cafe a couple times while we were away, for no ther reason than it was close to where we were staying at Elmley. The standard of food there was far better than we had previously experienced at a Supermarket Cafe. We had our Granddaughter with us on one occasion, who had her meal free because we'd spent over £5 on another meal. Very good. Recommended.

Usual type of cafeteria for a supermarket. Good friendly service reasonably clean and tidy. People still leave their plates on table even you are requested to place them in stacking unit provided. Not overstaffed, but they still keep smiling. Coffee, cakes good. You pour them yourself from their machines.

I expected something better from Morrison's, but I was disappointed with how small the portion was considering the price, I wouldn't rush back for another one!

good value children's meal cheese burger looked good only down side is the service is very slow more staff needed at busy time cheep you pay for what you get

Simple food probably often out of a packet but is what it is nice and reasonable. Kids deal after 3pm, please check, so makes it good value.

Used many Morrisons cafes over the years, this one a fairly new store certainly follows the good standards Morrisons have adopted. Clean tables, efficient staff, quality well cooked food. ideal for a lunch break or coffee stop. Highly recommended.

The food is okay! Depends, I have had okay food twice and I've been there 5 times, the family drag me there because I wouldn't willingly go or choose to go. I have complained 4 times and the 4th time was the last time I was going there. The staff don't know what they're doing, they're unaware of what customer service is. For what you get the food is over priced and its not even expensive, that's how terrible it is

We often stop for a sandwich or a breakfast if we are shopping here. The sandwiches are lovely and fresh and the breakfasts are very good value. Have occasionally eaten dinner here and again very good value.

Seen from the train, it is some way from any housing but a nice modern store. The café is quite busy but the wait was less that a local advised. I had a chicken and ham pie with chips and peas, a berry fruit granola yogurt, which was very filling and a dispensed soft drink. Competition out here is KFC, until more restaurants are added to the stores nearby. Clean and with a good selection of cakes as well as the standard Morrison menu items. .The main course took about 15 minutes.

Decided to have a quick lunch here as we were shopping locally. We have often had lunch at Morrisons in Strood and thought that the experience woulld be the same. Wrong. We both ordered the fish and chips. It arrived half an hour later and my fish was so overcooked and dried out, it was just a lump of crisp dark brown mess. So I took it back and asked for some fish with my chips. It will be out in 2 minutes as we are cooking some at the moment was the reply. 15 minutes later, it arrived. By this time my husband had finished his. The replacement dish was perfectly cooked and we we given another pot of tea each as compensation. I believe the problem was caused by shortage of staff. There were only 3 people on duty to take orders, cook and serve. Maybe we hit it at the wrong time but I don't think we will be returning any time soon.

Brought my four children here for breakfast while waiting for my husband. Great food. Good prices and friendly staff. They were happy and chatty and it was very clean

This store has good helpful staff and the food is well cooked. Lots of choice for everyone and the price is great. They have deals for children where they can eat free at certain times. Pick them up from school and treat them.

We sometimes stop in here for dinner. Two acceptable meals with free hot drinks for £9 (60p for extra cheese) convenient and typical supermarket cafe

The fish and chips are excellent. Well cooked and plenty of it. The staff are always pleasant and it makes a nice break if you shop at amealtimes

We often shop at Morrisons, and would probably use the restaurant more often if they weren't always running out of food. On one occasion they ran out of a requested sandwich at 3pm in the afternoon and weren't that keen on providing me with one (apparently these are made on the bakery!)Just before Christmas last year they actually ran out of Christmas dinners by 12.30 lunchtime. Well, I couldn't get my head around that one! Must say though that those sarnies are lovely and worth waiting for.

eat here quite a lot and the Mediterranean salad is especially nice. Always nice helpful staff especially when I forget things like knives and forks! Coffee is great and I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

We often go into morrisons for lunch. So much better than tescos. The waitress who was very helpful. I think her name was emma.
