The service was charming and the decor significantly improved on our last visit. It is fresh, bright and clean. However, sadly, the food was mostly appalling. Nothing felt fresh at all, it all felt like it was frozen or out of a packet. My poached eggs (served with bubble and squeak) could honestly have bounced off the plate. They did replace them, and the fresh eggs were beautifully cooked, but by then I had nothing to eat them with. If I had waited the rest would have gone cold. I love bubble and squeak, but this was dry and tasteless. My daughter in law chose a vegan burger and she could literally snap the crunch bun. The burger had no taste either. The fish and chips were absolutely fine. No complains there. Sadly, overall a dreadful meal and one that certainly did not enhance my mother I. Laws 94th birthday. We used to visit the tired Prince Albert regularly, and as much as it needed freshening up, we never had a bad meal there. On this occasion it was definitely a bad and overpriced meal. Never again.

The welcome, service, food and drink were all outstanding. The staff were attentive and all of the food was absolutely delicious. Try the Lychee sour, absolutely delicious and invented by the very talented bartender Krisztina. Hurley house is a lovely place to go for a special meal, I can’t recommend it enough.

This farm is the ultimate breakfast spot! The food is absolutely amazing—fresh, hearty, and full of flavor. You can really taste the difference in the locally sourced ingredients. But what makes it even better are the stunning views! Sitting outside with a perfect breakfast, looking out over the rolling fields and hills, is such a peaceful experience. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this place is a hidden gem. Can’t recommend it enough! Go for the Farmers breakfast that will keep you going for the day!!!

We had passed this place a number of times but always assumed it was closed or if not the car park seemed full. However we went past on a Sunday morning and it was open and the car park had been redesigned and had spaces available so we went in. It's a very traditional English cafe .The menu is all on the wall and you have to queue up to order but there is a wide selection of breakfasts to have. We ordered a variation of full English and were given a mug of tea and bread and butter was brought to our table . When the cooked breakfasts arrived very quickly we were given top ups to our mugs of tea. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced around £8.00 including tea. They have also daily specials .It's much larger than I thought as there is an indoor patio area at the back and has lots of table space. It got busy later as the locals came in , if only the tourists knew what they are missing.

Myself & 3 friends had a lovely lunch at the Bexley yesterday. The service & food were excellent. We sat outside as the weather was good. The barman came & took our drinks orders then our food order. Extensive menus with something for everyone. Will definitely be back soon. Can highly recommend.

A last minute panic of 8 friends looking for somewhere to have some food and a drink. everything happens for a reason and now I can guarantee we will be back. What a wonderfully friendly pub in a lovely setting. The food was really reasonably priced so I have to say I thought the worse but was hungry. Well as the food started to come out I realised I had nothing to worry about. Everything was dished up with care and attention and it was all piping hot. Not a bad meal among us. Everyone one of us cleared our plates. Normally I don't take pictures of my lunch but the effort that was made to make this prawn and avocado salad was amazing. I can tell you it tasted as good as it looked too. We also had a birthday in our group and the whole pub joined in with the birthday song. Overall a lovely experience and I feel I have found a gem of a place.

My mother and I had a delicious lunch at Waltham Place. It’s a set menu and everything was delicious and the service very warm and friendly. We enjoyed a very informative and enjoyable 2 hour private tour (£40 total for a group of up to 4 people) by one of the estate’s very experienced gardeners, Tim. The gardens are stunning and set against the backdrop of the beautiful house. We had a fantastic afternoon and will definitely come back.

Attended this very warm welcoming pub/ restaurant with my baby and some friends. It was very welcoming. They sat us in a perfect place for our baby to also be comfortable. We ordered the multiple plate deals and wow every plate was outstanding. Their options of chips are amazing and food was outstanding. The staff were so friendly and I will definitely be returning again.

Lovely little tea room near Windsor Castle, gorgeous fruit scone with the afternoon tea warmed, with the right amount of jam and cream. Choice of tea aswell, and I really enjoyed the chai. My partner said one of the best lattes he has had and the chicken, tomato and mayo sandwich was good value for money and nicely filled. It was my partners birthday and I had mentioned when we entered and the lovely ladies in the cafe bought over a slice of chocolate fudge cake and sang happy birthday to him. Very lovely gesture and not in the slightest expected. Thank you very much for making our visit extra special. Highly recommend a visit.

This is my second time at Coworth Park for afternoon tea. I booked the festive tea so we could experience the carol singers. Sadly the entire experience was quite bland and disappointing. This is the second restaurant this Christmas where we have had to wait for our table beyond our reservation time. The layout of the drawing room is all wrong and they haven't made the best use of the space. My partner was basically looking at a closed door for the two hours. If he wanted a view of the tree or pianist he had to turn around and have his back to me. It would have made more sense for the huge tree to have been placed where we were sat and our table to be where the tree was. The room itself is very bland with minimal artwork and a poor layout of furniture. Another reason I chose coworth was for the fireplaces. Neither were on during our tea and we're blocked by seats so could not be seen. This adds to the cosiness but sadly were not in use. The carol singers would pass from room to room which was not really ideal and appeared very messy. The pianist was playing but with many many breaks so it seemed like he was only there for a short period of the tea. The food itself was ok, I've been to Dorchester and the sandwiches are much better. The fillings were bland and not tasty at all. We had booked a champagne tea. We were half way through our food and I realised that we had not been offered the champagne so I had to ask for it. As for the tea, most places leave the teapot on the table so you can refill your cup but the waitress put it on another table. We had to wait ages to get her attention and by the time she refilled my cup it was almost cold. It was a very disappointing experience and my partner and I both agreed that we will not return. We have many choices in this area and I chose coworth due to the good experience we had last year. Sadly it has changed this year and I will choose another venue for my next afternoon tea. The standard has slipped considerably and I think it was a waste of money. I also think that the afternoon tea trays are not practical, the waitress put ours in the middle of the table and I could not see my partner so had to move it.

We took advantage of their August offer for Afternoon Tea, it was a splendid tea but marred a little by the manager who tried to overcharge us by over £20.00. This was despite having been presented with an itemised printed bill from the hotel, which clearly stated the correct outstanding price to pay. All was eventually sorted out, but it was rather embarrassing as there were other diners in the vicinity.
