This farm is the ultimate breakfast spot! The food is absolutely amazing—fresh, hearty, and full of flavor. You can really taste the difference in the locally sourced ingredients. But what makes it even better are the stunning views! Sitting outside with a perfect breakfast, looking out over the rolling fields and hills, is such a peaceful experience. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this place is a hidden gem. Can’t recommend it enough! Go for the Farmers breakfast that will keep you going for the day!!!

The food is lovely but the earl grey tea for two was watery and weak. But what was concerning was the welcome service. We arrived at 9.30am to be told rather brusquely because of the weather we could only have the table for an hour. This act of limiting the time frame you sit at a table we have never experienced anywhere in the UK or Wales and as regular patrons of Fernygrove Cafe we were shocked especially as other patrons were not given the same instruction. 15 minutes of the hour was spent waiting for the food. We sat and watched other patrons being greeted but not time limited. Sadly we will not be returning because of this discriminatory behaviour . We arrived at 9.30am and left at 10.15am deeply disappointed. Not an enjoyable experience to rush ones breakfast. 3 stars is for the food.

We have just paid £11 for 2 overcooked fried eggs, 2 rashers of bacon and 3 very small half slices of toast. We haven’t been here for a couple of years and won’t be coming back again. There are many farm shops / cafes locally that offer much better value.

Have been coming to FERNYGROVE for years. The standard of food, service, and hygiene is of the highest quality. The extremely friendly staff are well drilled, motivated, and extremely adaptable to customers requirements. This venue is a weekly Thursday morning breakfast treat to ourselves. Sometimes the car ‘makes its own mind up’ and takes us there at other times of the week! (That’s our excuse). The Farm raised Bacon and Sausages are second to none and there is a good range of vegetarian options on the menu - if you must. The prices reflect the high standard of service and quality of food. The Butchers Farm shop sells the Bacon and Sausages that are on the menu in the coffee shop along with an extensive range of high quality meat.

Place has unfortunately gone down hill. Used to come here often but, with how our breakfast was served and the extortionate price markup they've made, we will absolutely not be coming back. There's plenty of other places nearby at a much more reasonable price for a decent breakfast.

Had full English breakfast which was pretty good, however lacked any black pudding, mushrooms or hash browns- just one sausage, 2 bacon, 2 eggs, one toast, half tomato and beans. At £11.25 price was over the top. Lovely views on our sunny morning and pleasant service, but expensive for what we had.

Used to come here a lot and it is lovely on a sunny day with a great view. However they have put the prices up ridiculously so it becomes too expensive to bring the family. Won’t be going again as there are other places in the area just as nice where you can get a whole breakfast for less than the price of a roll. To put it in perspective, you can get a bacon bap at Pennyhill Park for cheaper! Such a shame. Staff are friendly and efficient. The pricing is way out of kilter however so this one is off the breakfast list.

A nice breakfast but definitely wasn’t worth the £33 we paid for it. A light breakfast and poached eggs in toast with 2 juices!! Still gobsmacked as to why it cost so much as they don’t give a itemised receipt. Came here on all the reviews and recommendations but given how extortionate it is I don’t think we will be back. Sausages are lovely like everyone has said but as I said not worth what they charge and there are many other places that do a lovely breakfast for half the cost even with it being locally sourced.

Lovely setting, very quick service and friendly staff. And the place was packed, which clearly says something. The quality of food was good but very expensive. All-day breakfast Is one sausage, two bacon, one fried egg, beans, tomato, mushrooms and toast for well over £9.00.Bacon was good but the rashers are quite small (might be dry cured), egg was small, and while the sausage tasted very good it was rather mushy and I suspect low in meat content. I don’t mind paying extra for quality or for quantity, but really this was neither, and I therefore question the value for money.

Reached by a dirt track, this was an ideal pause at a local Farm Cafe on our way to Legoland. There were tables and chairs outside, altho' at this time of year it was too cold to sit outside. It was very busy in the cafe, and a lady directed us to a table. Fast service after ordering at the counter. Very nice coffee and excellent food, scrumptious sandwiches and childrens all day breakfast. It must be lovely to sit out in the summer; a great location. We enjoyed seeing a deer in the field. A childrens party took place whilst we were there. The tables are close together thought, therefore making it awkward for buggies or wheelchairs. Certainly popular however, and we would return if in the area.

Four of us popped in Sunday morning for breakfast. The place was full and buzzing. We queued up & ordered and sat down & only had to wait about 10 minutes for our full english breakfast's to arrive. All was piping hot and fresh, sausages were of a very good quality, I can never understand why some places use cheap ones, as it ruins the breakfast, but these and the rest of the food was of a very good standard and cooked well. The one & only criticism I would make, is that there are just one or two too many tables inside which makes it quite cramped and awkward to move about, especially for people with walking sticks & buggies. We also bought some meat from the butchers next door, which whilst being quite expensive, was of a very high standard, so no complaints there. Definitely would come again though, well done.

thought we would try this for a change so there were some positives - lovely location, sausages, roomy cafe and fab coffee outweighed by the negatives though - expensive compared to other local cafes, food not cooked to order - had been sitting around for a while - fatty bacon, no mushrooms or tomatoes on the breakfast and they had the audacity to charge £1.25 extra for a minute single hash brown - we won’t be back. We had intended to shop for meat at the next door shop but felt we had been overcharged already so walked away.

We was on a time scale but went here as last time was amazing so we was told upon ordering would be 45 Min which is fine got to that time and still no sign so went to enquire to which was told another 5 tickets before ours. We was needing to leave in half an hour we managed to speak with the manager who could tell was stressed and under pressure but also was quite rude with the situation we finally got our breakfast within 10 mins of speaking with the manager but there needs to be a bit more communication between the front of house and kitchen and not take on more food then they can cook at once other then that was a lovely breakfast would of been better if didn’t have to complain and the manager wasn’t rude about the situation. The thing that we couldn’t get was last time we went was double busy to what it was today and was told the same wait time of 45 mins which was fine and our breakfast was out within half hour and there was more food orders that time which was strange.

The food at Fernygrove is excellent and I often visit with some of my ladies. We like to sit around and have lunch and have also breakfasted there. Each season is well set up to enjoy the food. My only slight hesitation is that the prices in the shop are a little bit expensive for what it is but I do like to support a local farm.

My wife, my daughter and I found this place by accident whilst out for a drive. We have been back many times since. Amazing food, terrific portions and attentive staff. Plus it is good value for money for the quality you are eating. Coffee is well made and hard to resist. Can not recommend this place highly enough especially as the place to visit the day after the night before.

First time visit for brunch. Food was good if expensive. Sausages in particular were very good. Bacon average. Did get busy and owing to large number of young children it was a bit over noisy at times- i struggled to hear my daughter’s voice who was sitting opposite me!

This is by far my favourite spot for breakfast in the area. We often try and find new spots for breakfast, but when the new places disappoint or we just want a good old favourite, Fernygrove is our fallback. Always consistent, always delicious!

We had passed this place a number of times but always assumed it was closed or if not the car park seemed full. However we went past on a Sunday morning and it was open and the car park had been redesigned and had spaces available so we went in. It's a very traditional English cafe .The menu is all on the wall and you have to queue up to order but there is a wide selection of breakfasts to have. We ordered a variation of full English and were given a mug of tea and bread and butter was brought to our table . When the cooked breakfasts arrived very quickly we were given top ups to our mugs of tea. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced around £8.00 including tea. They have also daily specials .It's much larger than I thought as there is an indoor patio area at the back and has lots of table space. It got busy later as the locals came in , if only the tourists knew what they are missing.

First time coming here for our anniversary, Chris Valdez absolutely made the evening for us. He was so lovely, supportive, just the best service we have experienced. We tried his favourite dessert cocktail too which we loved! The attention to detail he added, just really made our evening. Thank you so much - we will be back! Couldn’t recommend more.

Portions were small. I ordered the celeriac and the portion was tiny for a main meal. I got a slice of celeriac, *one* mushroom and some kale... that was it. Compared to others at the table who had big roasts. I left hungry.

A great place to stop for a coffee and a cake. I was out cycling and we passed through Windsor. Located in the old ticket hall of the station, it’s a bustling cafe with tourists visiting Windsor castle and cyclists from all over, stopping here for a break. It’s really accommodating for cyclists with its indoor bike racks, heated glove warmers in the winter time for those who like winter riding. It’s the highlight of a ride when we head out this way
