We had passed this place a number of times but always assumed it was closed or if not the car park seemed full. However we went past on a Sunday morning and it was open and the car park had been redesigned and had spaces available so we went in. It's a very traditional English cafe .The menu is all on the wall and you have to queue up to order but there is a wide selection of breakfasts to have. We ordered a variation of full English and were given a mug of tea and bread and butter was brought to our table . When the cooked breakfasts arrived very quickly we were given top ups to our mugs of tea. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced around £8.00 including tea. They have also daily specials .It's much larger than I thought as there is an indoor patio area at the back and has lots of table space. It got busy later as the locals came in , if only the tourists knew what they are missing.

We’ve been here many times and will be back again after another cracking breakfast. Friendly and quick service with a mile and a bit of chat. Teas and coffee’s topped up while staff check you are enjoying your food. Really good breakfast with particularly nice bacon. It’s a no frilly place but always busy will all kinds of people. Give it a go you will enjoy it.

Lovely room with en-suite. The owners are so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious with unlimited tea / coffee refills. On site parking. Cafe is cash only (although we had prebooked so didn’t apply) walk-ins were caught out with this. Great location - just a 20 min walk to Windsor Castle. What a gem - they could definitely charge more.

I stayed here September2022 for five nights. It was an excellent place. Spotless bedroom and new bathroom. Bed and pillows were very comfy. The owners were lovely and friendly. For breakfast you just go downstairs to the Cafe which was busy with the local workers. A large choice of great British breakfasts all served quickly. A short bus ride from town or a 20 minute walk. Great value for money and a nice place to base yourself whilst touring around Windsor.

We ate here on the Sunday .. the lovely gentleman in charge accommodated our party of 8. First off if you like posh places don’t go here, it’s perfectly clean but it’s a cafe. The menus are on the whiteboard, chips with everything, but one of the best omelettes I’ve ever had. The chap in charge attentively fills up your tea and coffee mugs numerous times and you come away smiling. Loved this place, and would go back for another belly buster breakfast

Arriving in Windsor at 7 AM we wondered where we could find some breakfast, following the long drive up from Devon. We found the top 20 cafe, and we could not have landed up in a better place. Entirely unpretentious, what you see is what you get: and what you get is a great English breakfast. At a fiver each, including coffee and refills, what's not to like? I would just comment particularly on the fried bread: it's difficult to cook fried bread well; it either ends up as singed bread, or cardboard soaked in oil. This was neither: it was crisp on the outside, not oily and still soft inside. Perfection. It set us up for a long flight later in the day. Fully recommended. Only later did we see how highly it is rated on trip advisor by others: this only confirmed our view from personal experience.

My family had come to visit from 'up North' and they do like their fry up on a Sunday. Sadly, Windsor is full of expensive and somewhat precocious cafes, peddling their Sunday breakfast for close to a tenner before drinks, and this wasn't going to cut the mustard with my lot. I drive past this place weekly and decided to give it a go and boy, were we not disappointed. Tons of choice for £5 a fry-up and even then they will swap items if you want! Plus butties for £1.80, that'd be good value in Manchester! Perfectly sized portions, freshly and swiftly cooked, best bacon I've ever had and tea made in a proper teapot and served in a mug - what more could a hungry Notherner want! Lovely family running the place too - they even replaced my nephew's butty when he dropped it for free. Try this place, you won't be disappointed.

This is the very first time our family have been to the Top Twenty Café. In our family group there were five adults and three children - age range from 12 to 75. We had a warm welcome and on the wall there must have been 8 or so different choices of breakfast each one was clearly numbered and there was something to suit all tastes. We went for quite a variety of numbers and choices. The service was quick and everything cooked to order. We never had to wait long and very soon were all tucking into a nice hot breakfast with ample bread and butter and bottomless cups of coffee and tea. Highest price was £6 for the 'full works'. The restaurant is clean and tidy and the best way to describe it is as friendly, family, community café. The last time I tasted such good fried bread was when I was a young child at Sunday Breakfast. We will be back when collecting or taking family to Heathrow.

The problem with the word cafe is that it allows for places that sell over priced coffee and a blueberry muffin to be lumped with a place that do a proper full English. Where if you ask for black pudding they don't look down their nose at you and offer vegetarian sausage alternative. The top twenty has no such pretensions its been there for years knocking out a hangover busting English. Its not haute cuisine and you may share a table with tradesman with dirty hands and lively language but it beats star bucks et al every day of the week in my book..oh the Tea is refill is free but its not great.....

A great place to stop for a coffee and a cake. I was out cycling and we passed through Windsor. Located in the old ticket hall of the station, it’s a bustling cafe with tourists visiting Windsor castle and cyclists from all over, stopping here for a break. It’s really accommodating for cyclists with its indoor bike racks, heated glove warmers in the winter time for those who like winter riding. It’s the highlight of a ride when we head out this way
