What a find! A hidden gem in the RH10 area, Pease Pottage. Had the 6 course Spring menu along with the wine pairing and it was exquisite. Service and food are exceptional, with a full explanation of each course along with the wine pairing. Very romantic and relaxed setting, with the option of a stay over. We will make this a seasonal visit, along with the odd Sunday lunch. You could also privately hire the venue for a special occasion. All in all, this was a fantastic experience and one I will share with friends and family. Thank you to our hosts, Paul and Rich, who clearly care about their customers, the food and the setting. 10/10 from us!!

Latte great coffee taste with well balanced flavour. Good service and ambience. Good strong espresso. They must be using premium beans. Well done - we will be back!

Amazing food, so quick with the service, staff are friendly, never an issue with ordering, portions are a great size and always left full up.

It has been a while since I visited the Fig Tree last. We went with friends celebrating a birthday. I can honestly say it was probably the best meal that I have ever eaten. The Lobster starter was perfect and the venison divine. Coupled with superb service I cannot understand how this restaurant doesn't have a Michelin Star. I won't wait so long before returning.

Peckish Cafe is a cozy spot with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. The coffee is excellent, and the portions are generous. All together it was a really good experience I had in peckish . Thankyou all for you service 👍👍

Phenomenal social club, lovely staff, decent beer and a nice big space. Food looks nice too.

Having read some very positive reviews about Tom's Food, I suggested to a friend that we should try it. My first impression on walking in was how small it was and uncomfortable metal seats. The menu has some different things on it which was nice but I felt it was a bit expensive (sort of expected in Cuckfield). Our coffees came quite quickly but our food took forever to come. The food was nice but not particularly big portions. On paying the bill at the counter, I queried the amount and they had added a service charge without my knowledge or approval- I was not happy. They did offer to refund it but I should not have been out in that position in the first place. Whilst I expect a service charge to be proposed in a restaurant, I have never had a service charge added in a cafe before. Given the fact the service level was minimal, my friend asked for the charge to be removed. We won't be returning.

Have been going here for years without issue. Today I took my visiting parents here for a cooked breakfast. We sat down and had to wait for 15 min before one of the 2 staff came to take our order (she was eating her breakfast at a table when we arrived!) Very rude and blunt when taking our order. Waited a long time for it to arrive and when it did my order was wrong. I informed the staff and she appologied. When the missing item did arrive some 5 min later, it wasn’t cooked! I tried to return it to the staff but both were outside the kitchen back door smoking, so I left it on the side. When they came back in they ignored that it was there and just continued to talk. Never once did they ask “everything ok?” Or “how was your food?” Won’t be coming here again.

I am so happy I have finally joined this amazing club. Thanks so much to the brilliant ladies in Sales at Wickwoods, Zeba, Ellie and Gracie. They provided an A* service from the start till the end and were extremely professional at all times. Brilliant 🤩

First time visit for lunch. Excellent atmosphere and good food which makes it even better. Will lost definitely be going back.

Bit disappointed. I’ve been a chef my whole life and run a food busiensss. This doesn’t make my picky or unrealistic. But the fish seems very under cooked, not hot , batter slimy and slippery and all stuck in the bags. Cold drinks drinks packet , never ever got why take aways do this. Chips ok , chicken not hot and tasted strange. I’m sure this is a one off as reviews good and really don’t want this to put any one off. But year double check your batter recipes, very odd.

Once again we had a very lovely Sunday Roast, i enjoyed Chicken and my wife went for the Pork both were accompanied by the vegetable's Cauliflower Cheese and Broccoli. your starter was the Camembert with warm breadth and desserts of Dark Chocolate with Orange Roulade. Drinks were Non Alcoholic Beer for me and my wife enjoyed a Sauvignon Blanc. Special mention to our server Holly P whose attention to our needs went above and beyond, she was exceptional busy still found time to tend to our requests Well Done !

Great service and the food is amazing. My daughter and I had the dumplings to share which were so so good. I had the slow cooked lamb massaman curry and my daughter had the duck. Both delicious. Made to feel very welcome. Ambiance good and acoustics also good. Will definitely visit again.
