Not happy..Chips where soggy and greasy. Steak and kidney pie l.had the pastry was not special.

Only our second visit to Jupps. Both times the chips were good and fish excellent although the fish batter seemed seemed flatter than before but still good. And Mr Jupp runs things efficiently. The problem this time was that to us, neither the large cod nor the large chips were really large enough to qualify as large. Still a very good shop but for the price the portions could be larger. Hence 3 *.

Great to find a fish and chip shop that caters for Vegans and Gluten free. Quite a selection too.

Can't rate this one highly enough, great food, excellent service and the owner is amazing, oh and I had 20 scouts with me that all backed up this claim, so not just my recommendation.

Fish was extremely good, fresh. Curry sauce lovely, chips fluffy inside Because some F&C shops are so terrible I thought this was a bad takeaway. But, go to proper places and it’s a delicious treat. Shame lot of establishments don’t give a toss

This fish and chip shop is better for vegetarian options than anything we used to go to in Brighton when we lived there. The Vegan battered sausage and battered haloumi are delicious and have become our go to order along with a generous portion of chips. Yet to try the ‘ToFish’, but we will! Wonderfully consistent in quantity and quality. Super friendly and efficient service from a lovely family run business. Strong community ethos really comes across every time you visit as Martyn greets most customers by name and people are genuinely happy to see him when they come to get their supper.

The best fish and chip shop in Burgess Hill

Jupp’s Fish & Chips have always had a first class reputation dating back to when Dennis & Shelia used to run the family business. Martin, their son, has been at the helm for many years now and this evening our fish and chips was fantastic. My 6 year old opted for Cod and Chips (he later ordered a jumbo sausage too) and I chose Haddock and chips. The fish was extremely fresh (not from frozen you can always tell) and cooked perfectly. Once home the batter remained crispy and so were the chips. It wasn’t greasy at all. The place was spotless and extremely clean, there wasn’t a finger smudge anywhere on the metal or glass. My son’s words were, “oh man this is soooo good” he ate the lot. Value for money is 10/10, will we return again ? a very big YES. Well done Martin.

This is the best place for fish and chips in town. (Pretty much) Every Friday, my colleagues and I order from here and we are always delighted with the quality and taste. The fish and chips are consistently crispy, fresh, and delicious. The staff are also very kind and such a laugh, and the prices are great. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves fish and chips. Consistently high-quality.

For our first visit, must say quite disappointed with it. We ordered 1 large cod, 1 medium cod and large chips. And I think we've been given to medium as no difference in size, large chips barely covered 3 ppl. I'm definitely sticking to my local F&C shop.

Best chip shop in town. All the staff are so kind and always make an effort to ask how your day is as you walk in. Little touches like this bring a real community feel and make you feel valued as a customer. And of course, the food is top notch too!

We ordered on Gluten-free Tuesday, and it was divine! Staff were wonderfully friendly, and despite being busy, took to time to answer our questions about the batter and how it was cooked. We had fish, chips, peas, and pineapple fritters (all Gluten free!) And they were delicious - we'll definitely be back!

Services was really good, staff are very friendly. Premises is very clean but I did find it weird that the staff used the paper they wrap food up in as cleaning cloths. Maybe they'd ran out of clothes or blue roll? Food was alright but I think the oil could have done with a change. The food had that darker breadcrumb shade you get when you reuse oil to much. Would go to again but wouldn't be my first choice.

Really friendly and welcoming team and convenient parking. As for thier food; maybe I've just been unlucky on the four occasions I've shopped there, but the food is a bit below average. It has always a bit over cooked and dry. Fish and sausages are always a bit tough. The chips are dry and hard. I'm surprised by the many good reviews. It was these that inspired me to stop by. Maybe I have higher standards after shopping at the others in town, but this is not the best in town.

Excellent hot crispy chips and tasty fish. Didn't have to wait long and could add my own salt and vinegar but had to buy ketchup sachet.

Delicious and great service. Amazingly generous too, they donated free of charge 40 portions of chips for our youth group this evening ! Not to mention they're our favourite chippy !

What a surprise! Driven past so many times but tonight just fancied fish n chips. Walking in to see the menu, Jack fruit n chips for the vegans, not just battered mushrooms and a scotch egg for me. Great menu, great food and they seemed to know everyone that walked in by first names and food brought out to your car if you didn't want to wait inside, brilliant. Definitely give them a go, you won't be disappointed.
