The best restaurants serving British food in Medway South East

A great place for the more sophisticated in Medway. Great music, old skool classics. Can get a bit busy. Definitely the best spot in Rochester. Its a bit of old skool disco.

Lovely croud and good food! My 3 year old for the first time got the courage to pet a dog 💪🐕🫶

We had a very warm welcome as soon as we walked through the door. We only had coffee and cake but they were all superb and the waitress was excellent. I’d certainly use this cafe again.

Visited The Whitw Hart for a birthday lunch - with around 8 members of our family and it was top class from the minute we walked through the door. The service was brilliant which was delivered by two especially great members of staff there who couldn’t have done enough for us, were very pleasant and always on hand. The restaurant itself was clean and great layout, the food was also amazing, fresh, big portions and very tasty. Pricing is also very reasonable too. Highly reccomend eating or having a quiet drink here.

Lovely old tea shop in Rochester. The entrance is easy to miss though.Its on the main street and upstairs, so you would have to be mobile to go there. Expect to wait 15 mins as it's very popular and doesn't seat alot. Staff very friendly and welcoming,lovely homemade food

Fantastic place very good service fantastic food happy staff can’t do enough for you. It’s the first time we visited the Falcon. We do live in Bristol but we passed this place many times when we’re in Kent visiting family highly recommended.

Mi esposa es una gran fan de Pie & Mash y se encontró con este lugar por casualidad en Internet hace unos años. Lamentablemente no hay pastelería y puré donde vivimos, así que pensamos que íbamos aquí para el almuerzo. Mi esposa era como un niño comiendo su almuerzo, no solo por el sabor, sino también por la nostalgia de comer pastel y puré con su difunta mamá en Brixton en los años 60. El personal era muy amable y asistido con pasteles congelados y licor empacado para llevar de vuelta a la Isla de Wight. Precios muy razonables. Lo recomendaría no solo por la comida sabrosa, sino también por la experiencia. Sra. ya planea visitar en nuestro próximo viaje.

This place never fails when it comes to value for money, quality, and service. Lovely family run restaurant in the heart of Rochester. Lovely freshly cooked British foods. Great portion sizes. Very kid friendly too. Lovely friendly and helpful staff too.

1st October. Absolutely FANTASTIC. Tasting menu Loved all of it. Paris was a star!! Our son started college here & wants to be a chef. He will be in very good hands.

We popped in for a coffee on a grim day. Very interesting place, great coffee and lovely chat. Will be back.

Food was fine, perhaps the gravy could be separated until ready to eat but overall the food did the job (Roast Chicken Dinner)

Sooooo sad to see this place go. Sam, ollie, Ross, Caroline and Matt are soooo amazing and make you feel so welcome, i wish you all luck for the future. Really wish this wasn't the end. Going to miss games afternoons, quiz evening and just the general meet up for a drink and food with the local friends. 😥😥😥

Proper pub, say no more as most other pubs are turning into restaurants with a bar.
