Wonderful downtown diner/cafe. Great food at great price.

Great breakfast at reasonable prices.

Been coming regularly for mug of tea £1 and glass of hot choc. £2.50 since cafe further down, put tea up to £1.30. Also had good orange juice and vanilla milkshake previously.

A really good old school café with food and atmosphere to match. If you were ever a kid who'd go out with your mum and dad or even grandparents to a market on a weekend then it wouldn't surprise me if you went somewhere like this. It's not fancy or snooty, it's relaxed, home-y and just old school. If you don't know what that means then I honestly think you may have missed out on some great memories growing up. For those looking for more specific information, the foods great, the options are plenty including Vegetarian and the price is affordable.

Used to be a really good cafe but you wait a long time now even when it's empty. The waitress is nice but I've been disappointed the last few times I've been here. When I visited a few months ago while pregnant I was told I could not have a panini and that I had to have a toasted sandwich and the cook was drinking Stella behind the counter. I gave it another chance and waited 45 mins for a bacon sandwich.

Scammers!! We ordered on Uber Eats for collection. We received a notification to collect the food after 30mins. I arrived at the shop, and the food WAS NOT ready; they HADN’T EVEN STARTED PREPARING THE FOOD! NOTHING WAS COOKED! They argued with us, saying the food would take another 40mins to prepare when we queried why we told the order was ready to collect. We told them to cancel the order. Instead of cancelling the order, these CROOKS marked the food as collected and refused to give us a refund, and Uber will not provide a refund as the merchant marked the food as collected. We are in a cost-of-living crisis, and this business is cheating local people. Order online at your own risk!

Ok, so this was our first visit to the cafe, and before I go on , I was impressed. As soon as we walked in the two staff members where attentive and super friendly, made us feel really comfortable and welcome, We ordered two set breakfast and two cold drinks , both breakfast came with a hot drink and either toast or bread and butter , when the breakfast’s turn up they where piping hot and delicious, I would say for a fried breakfast they looked clean and not greasy, Amazing. And the price was super reasonable, one of the best value breakfasts we have had We will definitely be returning for both the service and the food . Well done 👍

This place is such a good place I find it so amazing the food is so good and it is so convient, my friend thinks that the baguettes here are the best in Medway, and I do too really. This place is so convient being on the high street and it is a wonderability really.

Been going here regularly for Sunday morning breakfast. I hope they don't read this as I think there are too cheap. The coffee included in the breakfast is better than a Costa and the portions are generous and food hot. Highly recommend.

I’ve tried a lot of cafes in Medway and this is by far my favourite. Have a good selection at very reasonable prices. Always get a warm welcome and feel very comfortable eating there. Always clean and the food is great.

Slight issue was hygiene I was ignored by an member of staff when I polightly put my hand up and ask for the table to be cleaned. 10 minutes after an member of staff came and clean thr table. It wasn't a busy day and you had hardly any customer so no excuses. However enough of the criticism the positives, the service was outstanding for an local cafe it was definitely above average in the local area. The food was cooked perfect and to spec and it was value for money be delighted to go their aging in the forseable future.

Just about one of the worst and stingiest cafe's I've ever been to, have never known a Cafe to only ever do a sandwich with 1 sausage and 1 small bit of bacon. Had a baguette recently also and it had clearly been left out for over a day, it was quite stale, also with just the 1 sausage and bacon in (i thought this was a mistake). Never been to a cafe where a Sandwich, Roll or Baguette has less filling than bread.

I was a regular to this cafe until this week. I found a LIVE SLUG in my food and when it was brought to their attention, they offered to change the food. I said no due to being put off my food. So they kept trying to offer me other items I did not want, you don’t want to carrying on eating somewhere after that! They then proceeded to charge the full amount for all the meals, when I ate about 5 chips before finding the slug 🤢🤮 After this shoddy service, I refuse to go back. Unacceptable for them to have this happen and still feel it’s acceptable to charge someone. I didn’t blame them when the Slug was found, yet I do blame them for charging us for a meal that was clearly not up to expected standards.

Really disappointing. Rule of thumb for selecting a good place to eat is how many local people are in there. This was the exception to the rule.

Worst, cafe been in , staff did not wash hands after toilet use , I used after sink was as dirty as toilet , then seen server eating food , from behind counter , then serve food, felt sick after, couldn't eat meal.
