. lovely food really good gluten free options I usually find i have a very limited choice but here i didnt feel different I had a lovely roast with yorkshire pudding and cauliflower cheese all gluten free

Great little cafe tucked away. Bit of a hidden Gem. Super service and nice food. Update Jan 25: They are on their winter hours 10-2 most weekdays. Worth a visit if you fancy a quiet lunch

This is a favourite lunch venue for my husband & I, their lasagne is the best, so when looking for a Christmas lunch for myself & my mum, there was no question. The three course Christmas dinner was delicious, a great choice of menu, the food was plentiful, well cooked & piping hot. You are always guaranteed a warm welcome & great food at Lakeside.

Visiting parents in Gosport and we were lucky enough to have 3 lovely cooked breakfasts.. of our choice. Nice and hot freshly cooked.. hot mug of tea. Just straight forward easy home cooked food. Served with a smile and very reasonably priced Will definately return again. Thankyou

This was a return visit. Once again, the meal was excellent. The service was swift and efficient. We took the opportunity to buy some freso produce from the associated shop.

Fish swimming in oil and over cooked, chips the same, very disappointed. Standard has dropped

2 medium Cod, 2 chips, battered sausage with a mushy pea pot and a curry sauce…..£28!!!! Oh, and then 30 pence for a bag. What is the world coming to. Chips were ok, you get a massive amount in a paper bag, well cooked, but you have to beg for a reasonable amount of salt and vinegar. The Cod was cooked perfectly, but, here it comes, totally tasteless, bland , the Cod and batter just tasted of nothing. Battered sausage was cheap, again, tasteless and bland, I mean the whole thing just tasted of nothing. What’s it coming to, you can’t get a decent Cod and chips anywhere. Takeaways churn out this garbage and we are just supposed to suffer it. The people that work in the shop are friendly, the shop is clean , but it’s just not real fish and chips, the Cod was, in all likelihood frozen. Bring back proper Fish and Chips.

Best fish and chips I have had from any place in gosport. Lovely and hot . Fish was perfectly cooked and batter was perfect . Portion size was spot on couldn't fault it . Service was lovely as well . Will definitely use them again

Friday lunchtime. Food too ages and when we did get it it was over cooked and awful. Ordered gammon expecting a nice thick piece of gammon, turned up as two thin slices and like leather. Was looking to take my mum there for mothers day roast, but wouldn't put my Mum through that again. Coffee is instant, paid and then it was forgotten, only needed to boil a kettle. Give it a swerve.

It was busy in the pub, we had a dog with us and were happy accommodated in the garden. When our carvery was ready we were called. Advied them we were Gluten Free and a gluten free mug if gravy was provided food was lovely and staff were brilliant. Would recommend.

Nice and clean and nice staff, that's where it ends I'm afraid! Spent over £60 for 4 of us. Food was terrible! Over £10 for a big breakfast and the ingredients were cheapest of the cheap! Maybe spend a bit less on expensive branded crockery and sugar sachets and a bit more on better quality ingredients. Tinned mushrooms, nasty cheap bacon and sausages and pepsi was flatter than flat. Sorry, but really poor show!

Went for lunch. Food was great, well presented and tasty.
