It’s a good idea, and I enjoyed my meal, but it’s not really what I was looking for.. the chips were much more like pub chips than chip shop chips.. I’ve had chips from chip shops all over the UK, dozens and dozens of them, No Catch was the only one to serve this style of chips… which tbh I’m not into. What I want, and what I think most people want, from No Catch is the authentic fish and chip shop experience.. just without the suffering. They haven’t quite achieved this and tbh it makes me not want to go back as it just doesn’t hit that spot. I had the battered sausage with mine, pretty sure these are the Richmond no meat sausages, however I have no issue with that as they are very taste, shame they’re not the classic length but it can be forgiven. The sausage did hit the spot, would be curious to try the ‘fish’.. But please, revise your chips!

Wonderful Steak restaurant, lovely atmosphere, very calm, with a gentle attentive team. My partner and I came for lunch, the steak was exceptional. Thank you!

This place has everything that you would expect from a traditional English pub.. extremely friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere and decor with cozy fireplace, tasty and affordable food, good range of beers and spirits, dog friendly... It's a real gem and worth it to visit

If you like a Sunday roast you have to come here. I am over 50 and had thousands of roasts. This place is the best I have ever had

Frankie is a friendly guy who knows his products well. The food is excellent and reasonably priced I had the chilli prawns which were sumptuous. Get there before the season ends, you won’t taste better.

Pensé en darle otra oportunidad después de llevar a nuestro amigo en una visita anterior y estar realmente avergonzado sobre la calidad de la comida. Este solía ser uno de mis restaurantes favoritos en Brighton, pero ahora se siente como un montón de pequeños trozos de comida chatarra promedio de London Road servidos uno tras otro al mismo precio que un restaurante de alta cocina. Una pena que también estaba en un lugar muy conveniente.

Very good standard of food, 2 beef and 1 chicken roast for Sunday lunch. Very friendly and helpful staff. Well worth seeking out

This is a great place for Sunday lunch. Our roast dinners were superb. Well cooked,generous portions, and tasty and delicious. Lovely surroundings and a very good atmosphere. Very good service from very friendly attentive staff. Fixed price Sunday lunch is excellent value. Wines are not cheap but for a hotel not overly expensive. It is essential to book in advance as it is always busy which says it all. Definitely worth a visit.

Visited for a friend's birthday lunch. We absolutely loved it. A very warm welcome on a bitterly cold day. Awesome service from Antoine who was very knowledgeable and helped with wine choices. The set lunch menu was excellent we had three courses all were delicious and included a glass of champagne . I can't fault anything great service, excellent food and a sea view . We will be be back soon x

Friendly staff and just a nice vibe. Feels like a true local. Also fun and affordable karaoke in the basement 👍
