Fantastic burgers and great service, would highly recommend and would come again

Still checking out all the house specials for Honest Burger - this time I'm at Brighton! Their special is - Honest beef, candied bacon, double American cheese, Joosy beer-braised onions, burger sauce, mustard, onion and pickles - This makes for a tasty combination :-) Great venue and staff - well worth the visit.

The burger was good, but the relish was not so good. The chips were very salty.

Four stars only because of door and the cold gust of air when people come in and leave. Great service, attentive and polite. I’m not a burger person but my husband is. Lovely classic burger. Medium well done, their mince is chopped not minced and I think that made the difference for me. Cocktails were liush. I had the tropical rum punch and my husband had the raspberry mule. If you get the buffalo chicken wings and you like chicken get the large portion. It’s the flats and they are fall off the bone nice!

Well, what can I say? 10 out of 10. The food was amazing. The staff were really friendly and helpful. i will definitely be returning.

The service here was good, especially since we came pretty soon after they opened. The vegan options were not that great, with only 2 on offer. And the heating was off on a very cold day so we were very cold. The burgers we ordered were really good! Just wanted more variety

My family and I have visited this flagship Honest burger at least once or twice a month for many years, alongside several of your London franchise branches. Today I was shocked to be spoken to by one of the serving staff with so rudely. My sister, partner and I entered the restaurant to ask if they had a table whilst also letting a couple leave. We were told there was a 25minute wait for a table, perfectly fine… however, the server rudely pointed at me and scalded me to close the door as it is cold abruptly then retreated back to the bar. It wasn’t a polite request such as please could you or similar. Her face was thunder. I had to close the door on my partner who was still waiting in the doorway. I explained to the manager who witnessed this how unnecessarily rude this was and frankly we no longer felt welcome. What a shame from the flagship branch of Honest Burger. I’m not sure we will visit again, a severely sour taste left in my mouth.

Words cannot describe how much I simply adored my experience at Honest Burgers. I started off with a cup of fresh water to cleanse my palate, and then I delved into the DOUBLE smashburger with chips. 100000/ 10. Greatest food that has ever entered my mouth, I was drooling while eating but that did NOT stop me. I crammed it down before demolishing the chips with the juicy honest sauce. I felt like i needed 8920 more because I have never felt that way before. PLEASE i urge you to visit this place, it is a memory which trust me; you will never forget. Every night I dream of going back, i hope you can experience the paradise which I went through on December the 11th. please sponsor me honest burgers i am your biggest fan. service = 10/10 food =100000/10 and overall energy 12030193123098/10. Consistent, good, and friendly service. Nice selection of different burgers. The place is cozy and you can get a seat solo or a small group.

Perfect service from Emily who looked after a group of us and she made sure we had everything we needed. I also lost my keys and when I returned she made sure they were safe and sound. As soon as I walked in she returned them to me and I could continue my night free of worry! She is the best!

Exactly what I was looking for when I wanted a smash burger! fantastic prices and great that they offer a discount of 20% for students. Food is very fresh, fries were great and good portion. Definitely recommend. Delicious and fresh juices too!

Okay venue and the vegan burgers are very tasty. However, they are significantly overpriced, and they even force a service charge into the bill, which is gross. Also lose another star for failing to be a 100% vegan/plant-based business, when they clearly have the ability to remove animal products from all menus.

Had a great meal here, made use of the Christmas set menu which was extremely tasty and great value. High quality food and also the homemade lemonade was top tier. Shoutout out to one of our great servers Ewan aswell 🤙🏻

Honestly a great spot. Although it doesn’t have much space, when its quite it’s lovely, feels cramped when full.

Thought I’d pop in for a quick beer and burger and was slightly disappointed… wanted to dine in but apparently beer taps not working so ordered a can of beer (which was recommended by the waitress) which was not to bad! Waited a while for my food so decided to take away instead of dine in and after finishing my can of beer wanted to purchase more to take back to my hotel in which apparently that was the last one! The waitress did recommend others but I wasn’t impressed.. that being said the burger was amazing and the chips was some of the best I’ve tasted in a while! Would recommend

I was left bitterly disappointed today. After several years of loving this place today might be our last time. The burgers were fine but chips and onion rings were nothing compared to what they use to be. Customer care was overly pushy and I felt rushed to leave the place.

Staff were all really friendly and polite when we arrived. Got a good seat by the window and were given menus. This is the simplest place to order from. It's a burger and chips! Monthly special is always a good one to try. The chips are the best.... I'd actually like a double portion. 😉 It's really good tasting food. Very good service and a lovely atmosphere inside. Comfortable for your visit. I'm definitely going to return on my next visit to Brighton.

Really delicious burgers. Super affordable and one of the best places as a celiac to eat like a real normal person (lol). If you’re used to the chains in London like I was when I moved down - this is different. The standard here is much better, the food and restaurant is cleaner, and the staff are friendlier.

Honest burgers food is always great. Tastiest and best value around. Been to some in London but first time visit to Brighton branch. We had various burgers, double smash, Brighton special, vegan plant and some wings. Rosemary chips were hot and fab. Only observations I would make away from the food is that the venue is quite worn out, tables knackered, paint work peeling etc. or is that a Brighton thing ? The other observation is service charge ..it grinds me that it's added on automatically. So not discretionary as advised as it's always an awkward moment to take off. Ironically I had more cash than the service charge ready as a tip. Oh well. Service was good anyway. Food fab as always. Love Honest Burgers food 😄but just my couple of observations.

El restaurante en sí es acogedor, pero no me sentía como si estuviéramos compartiendo mesas con otros clientes. Gran selección de comida y bebidas. Gran selección de opciones/alternativas sin gluten y opciones para vegetarianos. Comida - excepcional. Teníamos las clásicas hamburguesas con papas fritas y una hamburguesa de pollo para niños. No quedó ni una migaja, realmente fue una de las mejores hamburguesas que he tenido en un restaurante durante algún tiempo. Tres comidas, tres bebidas, sin gluten y delicioso Y todo por menos de £ 40. Por favor, abra uno de los restaurantes en Staffordshire.

ordered online, honest-ly (lol) best burger we have ever had in our lives, potentially best thing I have ever eaten (buffalo chicken and chilli beef burgers). got the gravy sauce for the chips too and I am now a new person

Beautiful chicken burger, my son and i both really enjoyed these and the seasoned fries were hot, crisp and tasty. Service was v friendly and reasonably quick for freshly cooked fare. Dog friendly too.

Trying to find late night food that's not a kebab and stumbled across this gem. Juicy flavour packed burger, crispy bacon, great sauce and a really decent amount of well seasoned fries. Honestly exactly what I needed after a few hours on the dance floor. Really friendly guys running it, super clean. Would recommend.

Very good burger / fresh produce and friendly welcome

Ordered the Honest Beef Burger, medium rare. It was smaller than what I expected but each bite was filled with flavor and juice. As soon as I cut the cross section I knew I was in for a great time. All burgers also come with lots of Chips, which were hot and crispy with some fluffly goodness inside the larger ones. The portion was a bit too much for the burger, though with how flavor packed that was the chips were nice to calm down your taste buds for the next bite. Tropical Rum Punch was great, light and very refreshing and the sparkle wasn't intrusive at all. Tom and Will were great servers! I was on an errend but had to stop by when I passed the Honest Burger, after ordering I managed to quickly run and come back and they kept my order warm for me!

Really solid burger. The staff was pretty okay. They forgot my beer, but brought it right up once I mentioned it.

They do great burgers here, but the gravy is the thing to go for! Place is kinda small and too much for me when busy though, you are sat very close to other people.

Food is absolutely amazing, one of the best burger places in Brighton and they offer a different special every month. Don’t listen to the horrible reviews left by online customers and Uber drivers, all the staff are lovely and the service is great. Will be back again!!

I am gluten and dairy free so I always get food from honest burger because they don’t disappoint, the wings and onion rings are amazing and every burger hits the spot but today I had the Sriracha burger and wow I feel like that was the burger I ever had and honestly as a gluten free person i thought that was hard to find! Recommend to anyone with or without allergies!!

We were seating outside for lunch. The stuff was very helpful and regularly came up to us and checking what we want to order/if we need anything else. The food was prepared pretty fast and we enjoyed our time there! Everyone was welcoming, helpful and nice to us!

Great burger! Very good fries on the side too. The waiters were very nice, but a bit expensive.

The food was amazing and had great texture and flavour all round. However the service was woeful. We waited 40 mins for food, and throughout my experience before the food arrived me and my mates felt uncomfortable and irritated when sitting down and ordering our food. The staff would make random and pathetic sarcastic comments and would not acknowledge us at times when we wanted our food. I also asked to remove service charge and the manager or waiter made a stupid sarcastic comment which again made me uncomfortable at the restaurant. It’s a shame as if the service was as a good as the food id rank the place a lot higher.

Absolutely amazing food. We sat outside and enjoyed the warm evening. All of the staff were so welcoming helpful and quickly explained that everything was gluten free.

Great food, awesome service and a really great vibe. Plenty of outdoor seating and the G&T is great! Pair that with kind and friendly waiters and some seriously good burgers… What more do you need?

Visited late night, close to closing. Incredible service despite the late hour, and we had a great server! Food was out of this world, absolutely top of my list and I'll certainly be coming back.

Had a fabulous street side burger here tonight. I've been waiting to eat her for 15 months and it didn't disappoint. The burger was cooked to perfection, one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. I highly recommend you check them out.. We were served by Blake who was incredibly friendly and looked after us brilliantly, Chris did an excellent job on the grill, our burgers were cooked to perfection (med rare) and Davide deserves a mention for the making the place move like clockwork. Thank you for looking after us, hope to see you soon.

Terrible food and service. We ordered 2 burgers and waited over 40mins for them, the restaurant was nearly empty. The fries were overcooked and were mostly the end bits of the fries, simply awful. I asked for my burger to be cooked well-done as I’m pregnant and it came out medium-rare which I only realized after eating a few big bites. Bad experience from start to end, unfortunately.

Excellent burgers, just some of the best on the high street. I've eaten a few Honests and they're all brilliant. Fresh, tasty, meaty, and service is laid back. Just wish there were some dessert options? Or even milkshakes?

The chili burger is really delicious, but be careful as it's very spicy.

Quality burgers with fresh ingredients! Special mention to the rosemary fries which are delicious. The burgers are quite classic on paper but have a secret ingredient which would be that they stand out a lot in taste and which really gives very, very good burgers.

I didn’t order for myself as I had other lunch plans but the stuff my wife and kids ordered was very tasty, I had a bite. They said it’s the best burgers they’ve had.

I tried the Chicken burger it was very nice I highly recommend it. The chips were very bad very small pieces it was basically crumbs.

Really tasteless chips-yet claim to be ‘seasoned’ with rosemary. Hardly any on them. Had to add lots of salt to taste of anything. Chips were refried and old tasting too. Burger tasting good do gets one star for taste-but portions were small left one feeling unsatisfied. £60+ for a very light and unappetising lunch is very expensive in my book!

When it comes to burger chains honest is still one of the better choices and even now with inflation it’s still more affordable and better value for money. It’s not as good as it used to be when they started out in Brixton market but that’s to be expected for any growing brand. The one thing which annoys me is why now so many chains are start charging service charge and many are charging now 12.5% why? I travel around the rest of Europe and there are no service charges and it’s down to the customer to leave a tip if they feel the service was good. In terms of service it is really the minimum expectation which was met not more so why automatically add service charge? Just my 2 cents.

i rarely eat burgers, literally once in 6 months. my hubby really wanted one this time and we chose Honest burgers while passing it and stayed because it’s a hand made burgers, not the one you get cheap burger king(which i don’t even consider as food). i ordered chicken with truffle and my husband got a tribute. chicken was Honestly good. the only thing we didn’t like is fries. too fat and oily.

We discovered a small snack bar offering several types of vegetarian and non-vegetarian burgers. We opted for the "Tribute" with beef, bacon, mustard, pickles, onions and lettuce. It came with some fries and two glasses of chardonnay. Honestly good, a great discovery, especially since the sun was out, the terrace located on the street was very nice. The staff, although overwhelmed, were friendly and did their best to accommodate customer requests. Follow us, it’s always nice and it’s free 😁 🏍

Visited tonight having previously been to Honest Burger Cardiff and had great food and service. Was seated outside because it was a nice evening but the place was empty inside and out. Waited and waited to be served but nobody came for drinks or food orders. To be fair there was one girl run off her feet bringing food out but when I popped my head inside to find out why we weren't being served there were two or three people just chilling by the tills. Felt bad for the one hard worker in the place to be honest. To add insult to injury one of them then came out and went to take the order of a table who they seated well after us. I guess the three slackers took it upon themselves to show us who was boss. I guess further that they must own Honest Burger to be so bold! Hopefully the manager can get up to speed and bring the place up to the standard of Cardiff. Right now it's miles behind. Until then my advice would be to pop down to Patty and Bun on the same street. Good food and their service was very good too.

I’ve been ordering from here for ages now - they used to be soooo good. Could choose the temperature of your meat, they have gluten free buns, and their chips were amazinggg and I always love their gravy… but the quality has been declining for a while now. It was hit or miss for a while with inconsistency in quality. But the last order we got was just so bad. Missing food items, it took 1h30 to arrive and was completely cold when it did, so as a result the chips and burgers were pretty nasty. And the meat is all smashed now and can’t choose cooking temperatures! Such a shame, the quality’s gone down so much.

Have been many times and always had great food and service here. Food comes quickly and the menu is small but varied, with the special burgers always changing. Great veggie and vegan options too!

No ketchup, charged me for an extra sauce even though there was no ketchup left. Chicken wings barely had any meat on them. Then they added service charge. Not a great experience

I just love Honest Burgers! As a coeliac, they always take the condition seriously and I feel safe eating here, not something that can be said of some other restaurants. The food is delicious, literally every Burger I've had was amazing, as are the wings and onion rings and chips. Also, the staff are lovely. Always welcoming despite how busy it is. Plus you always get service with smile. What is not to love. Keep up the good work guys!

Absolutely obsessed, these burgers are honestly perfection! First stop on the first day of our holiday, left very happy!
