The best restaurants serving British food in South East

Such lovely staff, especially Grace and Alfie who were so nice and made it a brill experience. Pancakes were very good - didn’t realise they offered them! 😄😄

Best cappuccino in Llantwit. Other cafes just don't seem to know how to make one. Staff are always friendly and helpful.

The people are Clara's are friendly, informative and helpful! We had an amazing tasting bacon bap and a great burger and chips. The coffee's were tasty and always made fresh. A great selection of herbal tea's too! Would highly recommend stopping by and sampling the great quality ingredients that is used to make great food. Thank you to the team at Clara's for a great experience.

I have already reviewed this in the main hotel site. The drawing rooms are lovely, comfortable chairs, beautiful view, BUT the food and wine by the glass were truly awful. Very poor quality and very expensive. Never again.

A standard take away cafe. Nothing special but nothing bad. Fine is you are passing. The staff were welcoming

Went in for a small tuna mayo roll cost me £3.20 think this is taking the piss!!! Won't be going there again way too expensive. Avoid at all costs.

Stopped off for lunch, lovely atmosphere, plenty of seating & very delicious food. Only downfall was the service. A young lad took our order, whether he was overwhelmed with the amount of people waiting to be served or something else it did put me off, especially as we had to wait 15mins for our cuppa. What brought it back was the food it was very satisfying & im going to give it another go.

We were delayed due to traffic problems, but staff were happy to be flexible with our arrival time. It wasn't a huge menu, which is good as it means the dishes can be freshly made. The staff were friendly, service was timely, we were not rushed. All four of us enjoyed our lunch dish.

Food was very poor, tried this place twice now, both times very dissapointing, won't be using again.

We have just had a lovely time at the De Havilland. We took our friends, who had visited from France, here for a Sunday Roast which was very nice, but most importantly the setting and atmosphere was very welcoming. The two young waitresses, Megan and Mia were so friendly and helpful which is so important. We will definitely come again.

I booked a vegan afternoon tea for two at this place. The place was very very busy - we waited a bit for our table and for our food to arrive. It's a nice rooftop location for drinks but to be completely honest, I did not find it special. The vegan afternoon tea was amazing though!

Fabulous food and excellent friendly staff

Ordered large so would get extra meat but the portion was tiny, meal was packed with lots of peas and mixed veg.
