Honestly the worst butty I've every had. It was a soggy, massively over priced, mess.

It's ok for a cheap bite and drink, don't expect a 5* restaurant, the key is in the name, cafe! Nice cakes and scones and quick service.

Went in this Friday evening and asked if they could freshly fry the chicken for my fried chicken bargain bucket order and they agreed. 15-20 minutes later I notice the owner put in 2 pieces of chicken which were already in the heated display counter from earlier into my bucket, after that he put in 3 pieces of chicken fillets. When I confronted him about it he tried saying that they had run out of chicken and that is why he couldn't give me what I had paid for. I told him that he should have told me that before I placed the order. I asked for a refund and thanked him for wasting my time. Good thing I spotted him when he was putting the food into the bucket. Definitely will avoid in the future !

Only a one night stay for my friend and I, a wedding outfit shopping trip. The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and the ensuite bathroom lovely. Sat us by the river for our breakfast and looked after us well

Sales pitched us while having a go at the rail ale - “come have a look at my pub -the railway inn better than the others blah blah See for yourself It was an average chav pub understaffed and one of the staff and the owner was drunk one real ale available Owner kept banging on about real chips we asked for some at 730pm told there was a big group coming so they couldn’t do it - no big group came The opposite effect for us to wasting money in that place is - next rail ale we will avoid going to that place sorry I don’t usually give bad reviews but your happy to diss other nice pubs which are better so you deserve this review.

Passing through Ormskirk at lunchtime and saw Toby Carvery, pulled in and found the Fiveways. We both had the Carvery which was an excellent choice of Lamb, Turkey, Gammon or Beef. We both had Turkey and Beef the accompanying vegetables were excellent and even though stood on a hot plate were not dried up. The place is spotlessly clean the toilets smelt fresh and clean. One of the best Cavey's we have had., and the price was very reasonable @£15.48 for two
