The best restaurants serving British food in North West

Me and my partner have ordered from here several times, the latest being tonight and it is always perfect. I always order a cookie dough and I have never found another place that beats this one. The quality and size for the price is great. Will continue to order in the future :)

They have got rid of the tv screens but have so many beer pumps that the one member of staff struggles to pass the drinks over. Cannot possibly use six lager pumps at once. We did not stay as it was cold and smelt of bleach.

You need this Fish and Chips like a pirate needs treasure. Yo ho ho and a squirt of vinegar and all your dreams will have been answered. Hyperbole aside; best Fish and Chips I've ever had.

Nos alojamos en el Bell Farm y tuvimos una estancia muy agradable. Nuestra habitación estaba muy limpia y cómoda, con disposiciones para hacer té y un montón de extras en el baño de la suite si es necesario. Tuvimos un excelente desayuno que nos preparó para el día.El B&B está en una hermosa ubicación y es ideal para los amantes de los animales con cerdos, cabras, caballos y hasta un avestruz en los campos circundantes. La familia tienen perros mascota de los suyos que es muy amable y gentil, y acogen el suyo. Nuestro anfitrión nos saludó y era muy amable y servicial. Estamos deseando volver más tarde en el año.

waiting ages for our food.been a few times and they always forget to put the extra's on the plate that we paid for.ordered beans on toast toast was cold and dry.it was a case of spot the beans didn't even cover the toast.the service by one of the girls was not the best no manners at all.when asked for extra beans we got a look to kill.lisa who took our order was ery nice.

Decent enough pub with lots of sports screens. Loads of beers on tap at reasonable prices.

We had a beautiful stay! Location is beautiful situated right on the canal- very pretty with lovely walks. Hotel rooms are lovely - very cosy and clean. Upon arrival there were loads of car parking spaces. We were greeted by a lovely young lady who told us about the room. And directed up the stairs. The stairs up to the rooms cold do with a lick of paint and a replaced carpet as this is a very busy area as shared with the pubs toilets. Once through the door the rooms are named and it’s really clean and qwerky! Rooms light and airy, also warm and cosy we will definitely be staying here again ! Food was top!!!! Lovely menu. We also have a very yummy breakfast Will be back as ideal location for the zoo.

Visitar a algunos amigos y pasar la noche. Me sorprendió bastante que los últimos pedidos se llamaran a las 22.40 horas y el hecho de que el miembro del personal que llamó en realidad tenía su chaqueta y nos pidió que dejáramos bang en 23.00 horas. Esta es la primera vez para mí y amigo y no estaba tan impresionado. Parecía que el miembro del personal quería estar en otro lugar, no es lo que quieres oír, pero eso fue lo que pasó.

We don't live too far away and visit this place often, every single time we go the food is fantastic and the service is great from all the staff. Patrick the owner makes you feel really special each time you visit. We would definitely recommend this place it's also dog friendly in the pub area which is a bonus! Definitely recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Me encanta sentarme fuera de este pub con bebidas, pero la música de fondo es tan fuerte. No puedes mantener una conversación sin gritar.

Lovely pub been going in for years, only problem is now its quite dear for drinks (i know most places are, but sadly this is dearer than most) Food is very nice and staff are as a;ways very good Drinks are nice too a good selection and Dog Friendly with treats and bowls of water for dogs Nice seating area outside too

Third time still not lucky 😕 I advocate supporting local businesses especially restaurant/ bars in Haslingden as they are rapidly disappearing before our eyes. Since the new menu dropped at the Holden, I have tried three different times to see if the terrible meal was just a one off. Sadly it was not. Again the burgers come burnt, on a sad little bun. The last couple of times we went the starters were better than the main course. I had a flat iron steak... And well, it wasn't great, it was terribly dry. The girls waiting on were lovely.

Any remotely peak time is met with a ridiculous queue. The till guy is working at snail pace and the system they have just promotes massive queues, making people wait there for coffees. The food is average at best and can take ages to come. Staff look as stressed as the whole process appears to be. We’ve stopped going in with our little one on Saturdays as our entire afternoon can disappear waiting for a coffee and food to arrive. Poor.
