Took my young grandson for a steak, en enjoyed it

Didn't dine here , we just called for drinks .Great prices and good service . The cocktails were good too .

Bouncers not allowing us in at 00:05 when the bar is open to 01:00am. Not sure what that is ask about as we've been doing the same for years.

Only had a bottomless coffee ☕ but the place was very clean and comfortable & many people eating meals, this was my first time in here but was very impressed, I loved the large watch ⌚ on the wall 😀 I will return 👍

Good friendly services from the young lady behind the bar. But not the cleanest of pubs

This is a fantastic Spoons. Great time here & staff dead friendly. Beer great & food superb - had the 3 plater this time. Definitely going back!!!!

This is a nice enough pub. Good location, comparable prices to all the other Wetherspoons pubs. There is plenty of seating. The restrooms are upstairs for those who aren't handicapped. The ladies' room is quite large with plenty of stalls and very clean. There is a handicapped restroom downstairs. However, it doesn't stay locked, so those who are too lazy to climb the stairs use it, which is extremely wrong and makes me quite angry. It was a mess inside the handicapped restroom. There was water and piss all over the floor, making it slippery. You had to sit sideways or risk getting clothes wet. The sink was really small. The food was average. My friend ordered an egg with ham and chips with a Tetley tea. The chips were cold, as was the egg. The milk that she put in her tea was off, so it made her sick the rest of the day and into the night. My panini wasn't as hot as it could have been, but it was cooked. The waitress, who was also the manager, was pleasant, so that is a plus.

I love a Wetherspoons however this one was not the usual experience. Nothing to do with the establishment, the locals were shall we say "different"

Nice pub with decent food, very kid friendly. Atmosphere a bit fancier than in most Wetherspoons.

We're do you start, Was OK for a pint maybe, however food was very poor, cold on arrival, was sent back and I'd say put in the microwave as it came out again two minutes later hot, takes longer to cook fresh fish and chips. Yes manager was apologetic but could tell was not bothered by the tone,people asleep in the corner, staff walking past not doing a thing, not even checking to see if the guy was alive or anything. Food was eatable but would I return, hell no I'd rather spend the money in McDonald's and I hate McDonald's even more. I'd put a zero star if I could

Apparently Saturday night is good but I found the food lacking and I've never had southern comfort in a tall glass of lemonade before maybe they were trying to add value but I'd rather taste the spirit

Nice open and airy pub. Decent beers and good prices

You get what you pay for. I still expect it to be clean. Quite noisy floor dirty, gang of about 6 teenager's sitting on the couch in the toilet been there hours noone moved them on. Food was OK as usual. Service was OK.

Nicest weatherspoons breakfast I have had in years.

Dont usually do alot of reviews unless somewhere is top end or quite poor. Been in the Weatherspoons Prescot alot over the last year or Two & found over the last couple of weeks it turning into a youth club. Was shocked / disturbed at last nights crowd in there as quite simple over run by youths doing 'charlie' in the mens w.c Dozens of lads in the place but only a couple with a drink, generally providing an uncomfortable atmosphere. The Doorman didnt know what day it was & never came inside once to have a sweep around or see what was going on.. If it carrys on like that then people will be leaving in there droves. Shambles & new doormen required. Looked like sootys disco for cokeheads.

We had a few drinks here recently and just want to give a shout out to Lewis who was so attentive and friendly to us on Saturday. Even though it was very busy he was bringing our drinks from the app order within minutes of us putting them through and our empty glasses would be taken within a few minutes of us finishing whilst checking that we had everything we needed. He's a huge credit to the team and we'll definitely be coming back again soon.

Cheap beer and a good atmosphere on week nights, but packed out at weekends. As with all Wetherpersons, there can be a wait time at the bar when it gets busy.

The watchmaker Prescot is a good Wetherspoons, but let them selfs down with the disabled toilets I have to use is disgusting pleople can’t be arsed to walk up stairs to go for a piss so use the disabled toilet about don’t even get it in and then leave the toilet open for their mates

Just popped in for a drink, proper pub, and everyone chatting. Really sociable staff really nice, would go again prices really good as well for branded beer and drinks.

We called in this morning for 2 traditional breakfast…. It looked like it was freshly made but many of the items on the plate were near cold ! Also the plates were cold too. This issues was the same for both of us. Why ?

Call in most weeks, staff always helpful My steak was cooked to perfection 🥰 Toilets are spotless. I I often think if they can't be bothered to keep the public area clean I wonder what the kitchen is like 🤔

In Saturday 6 January. Really bad smell from bar area - like nappies. 1 young girl behind the bar serving several customers at once. She was doing a grand job. Don't know what the other staff were doing. Tables of food not cleared. A truly miserable experience.

Travel from Nth Liverpool for this one. Lovely approach by staff from DM, TL through to floor staff. Never too proud to apologise

I've never had an issue here, always had great food, the desserts are to die for. Staff are polite and friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely.

Staff very friendly, Food normally very nice, but on this occasion asked for a mixed grill, The small piece of steak was that tough couldnt cut through it with any knife..The disabled toilets should only be used for that reason, had to wait a few times for joe public to vacate.

We came at about 8.45 after parking for free in the carpark almost next door. The place is clean, warm and so far, empty - except for a few tables. The Wetherspoon app is brilliant (saves having to stand at the bar and get ignored or others push in). A large and a small American breakfast with unlimited coffee or tea for £14 can't argue. Cooked well, all hot, plates warm, coffee machine is full. The maple syrup, bacon, pancakes, hash browns, sausage and the fried eggs all work well together. Perfect!

I hadn't been in here for 2 years, sad to say though the food is ok and friendly staff the disabled ground floor toilet ( used my own key) was disgusting, the floor soaked and reeking of urine, I have to say I have NEVER seen this toilet clean & dry, forced to climb stairs to use upstairs toilet, though clean the flush buttons did not work .....I won't be visiting this place ever again

We had a break from this pub as the staff were a joke and the place used to be a mess. Possibly under new management now as they have new bar staff and improved a lot.

Had I realised before my meal arrived that people were openly vaping, on different tables in the watchmaker, with staff walking by without saying anything. Then I would have left and gone to Ho's for our dinner instead. We are regular visitors to wetherspoons, in Prescot and especially when we go away to new places, because you know what you can get. However, this has really put me off going to the Watchmaker. It spoilt our meal TBH and after leaving I have a bad taste, which I can only assume was the vape. Definitely won't be going back in a hurry.

Before Xmas ordered turkey Xmas Dinner was disgusting I wpuldmt feed it to my dog wasn't even offered a meal in replacement and tryed to charhe us for the drinks that were part of the meal also disabled toilet is always disgusting urine on the floor

Very quiet when I visited, but it was Sunday night! It has a town centre location, car parking needs to be found. It has a clock and watch theme, hence the name. There's a decent range of real ales, largers, canned and bottle beers. I would visit again if I was in the area.

This was a very nice pub. Staff were great, and the atmosphere was lively but cosy. Drinks were very reasonable, all in all a really nice boozer.

Big busy Wethers, we visited on a Saturday night, beer and service was good.

Great value for money as always and staff were polite as you'd expect, and very attentive. Was served nice and quickly, although (as seems to be the way with Wetherspoons) a lot of food options weren't available. Fantastic toilets, clean large and very shiny. Only dropping a mark because it just felt a little unloved.

Typical Wetherspoons. Cheaper than other pubs for food and drinkd. Can get a bit rowdy with local (men) drinkers especially Sat morning pre the football but okay during daytime. Food good value Has outside space to sit both front and back for when weather is nice. Decor wise it's very tired looking and quite dark unless you get a window table but otherwise okay
