At the copper pot today greeted by a happy bubbly lady with great humour and manners couldn't do enough to help us interaction was second to none and look forward to our next visit she made the occasion better by making us feel at home Natalie is a asset to this establishment and seeing how many people knew her shows she is a popular character well done Natalie

We have come here regularly for birthday meals for a while. Usually the food is great and staff helpful. I have to say the last time we came we got a hunters chicken melt sandwich. It was burnt and there a few chips in the side. For nearly £9 I don’t think it was great value. Ordered drinks on the app and had to chase them at the bar twice. Not sure we’ll be returning.

Garlic mushrooms overcooked, husband got steak in ale pie it was very much overcooked he took it back, good enough the lady brought full meal back out, that was bit better but pie filling was like rubber. Atmosphere lacking girls looked fed up not the best tea out

Had a lovely meal here with my family. The food was delicious and between the 7 of us, we had a variety of meals, all were good portions and lovely. The service was great with friendly attentive staff. A lovely friendly atmosphere too.

Walked in for a meal, noticed alot of tables, with left over food. Beer not good, larger and Guinness, flat. I use the sister pub in Holyhead regula, 100% better. Will not be returning to Knowsley. 😡😡😡😡😡

When the food came out mine was burnt chicken was solid.garlic bread was black so they changed it for me wasnt much better.husbands meal was like a childs about 10chips on the plate didnt know i paid extra for a bit of extra sauce and 5 jalepenos for his burger wasnt nice at all.the drinks werent much better very flat.

The thing that let the restaurant down is they let dogs in we were sitting eating and people come in from outside with there dog let the dog climb all over the seats and was stareing at us eating and slobbing put us of the meal we got up and left to little to late we booked a table and was put the it doesn't say the bar area is for dogs and especially having them slobber all over the seats were is the the respect for your paying customer dogs don't come in and ask for a pint and put money over the bar and environmental health doesn't see dogs on furniture when your serving food to people very hygienic

Excellent service from Natalie as soon as we arrived. Order taken with a smile , nice large glass of wine and taken swiftly. Ordered the prawn Jacket potato and was a good size, absolutely delicious ate every bit of it. Would definitely come back again.

Called today with my mum, we tried to order from the app and struggled due to our own foggy heads rather than app issues. Went to the bar and Lauren talked us through the order. Showed us how to add to it and basically did all the things we should have done ourselves. She was a star 🌟. Later came over to check we didn't need to add anything else to the order for pudding incase we were still struggling online. She really went above and beyond what I would have expected. I would definitely recommend this place for service and the food was lovely too. Lauren, thank you again.

Some of our food was over cooked ,such as the lasagna. Overall the food was fine and the staff were friendly

I'm afraid I had to request a full refund. This had to be the worst food I've tasted. It was COLD, the steak and ale pie was microwaved. The pastry was chewy. Fries were cold. The mac n cheese had barbecue sauce on it WHY? the portion was baby size for £5.99. Even the pink gin and lemonade tasted weird. So disappointed. I can't state enough how horrible the food was. The young lady who brought the food out looked miserable as sin. There was an older lady there who was run off her feet. She sorted out our refund. She was the best thing about our experience there. She needs a pay rise.

It’s a little bit out of the way for us but well worth it. We will be back. Bar staff are warm and welcoming, food excellent, service top drawer. Thank you for a nice evening!

Excellent service staff really friendly and helpful even when rushed off their feet. More staff needed at busy periods due to high customer attendance and a wait on food which goes to show that this is a popular place to eat but staff need better support to handle the amount of customers and then cleaning tables and resetting. This is not the staff fault as they do a fantastic job and you can see they are rushed off their feet, ensuring everyone is catered for. Didn't give 5 star because a few times food has ran out that is my only issue which again is not the staff fault.

I'm a lorry driver and this place was round the corner, so thought why not. Busy friendly atmosphere, staff were friendly and polite, really enjoyed my food

Staff were attentive and very pleasant but food was very bland and overpriced for what it was. If you have sweetener in tea or coffee, it's not available, only sugar. Sadly my partner felt the same about the dish he chose too. Disappointing.

Lovely staff, unfortunately they got a couple of orders wrong, however, they did rectify this mistake. Food was pretty bad, fatty, tough steak, over cooked chips, soggy onion rings and the peas were as hard as bullets. The staff were really friendly though. Wouldn't recommend :)

Went this afternoon. Husband and I both ordered the rump steak, (welldone.) Husbands steak was perfect. Mine wasn't cooked properly inside. Female assistant apologised and took my meal back. Only for it to come back,(whole meal just warmed up). Lovely Female assistant apologised yet again and said the meal should of been re made. So she took it back and I had gammon instead. It wasn't enjoyable as it was my birthday meal and my husband had already eaten his meal. Didn't really enjoy it after seeing the steak not coked enogh as it had turned my stomach a bit.And had to try and eat the other meal. Not nice eating a meal on my own. I felt it was a let down and really put off with today's experience. We have been here on a few occasions and really enjoyed the food. I feel awful putting this review up as its normally a lovely place to eat. Ithink it maybe a while if I go back.

Came here a while ago.. By far the worst food we’ve eaten out in a very long time… Expensive as well.. Frozen chips, Chicago town pizza, burgers disgusting as well.. Certainly won’t be returning to any farmhouse inn’s ever again.. We always used to go farmhouse inns, not anymore.

We try to come to the copper pot for lunch or drinks after work as frequently as possible and have always given a warm welcome from the team, Moyra and all of the girls behind the bar make sure you get the right mix of “local pub” and restaurant vibes to keep everybody happy. They work their backsides off too 🙌🏻

I recently visited The Copper Pot with my family, and once again, we had an amazing experience! We kicked things off with our favorites – the mozzarella dough balls and sharer chicken wings, both of which were fantastic. For our mains, we enjoyed the American Hot Dog and the Cowboy Burger, both were absolutely delicious! The service was outstanding – the staff were attentive and friendly, always going above and beyond. A special mention to the manager, Michelle, who was so lovely. My 1-year-old son seemed to take a special liking to her, giving her a cheeky look every time she walked by! We’ll definitely be returning soon. Thanks so much, Michelle and the team!
