A first class experience from beginning to end. Relaxed ambience, expert advice by the servers, exquisite food and great value. We had the tasting menu, with the wine flight and was one of the best meals/food experiences I've ever had - loved it so much I've been back since. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Girl on the bar had a terrible attitude. She sas so rude to us, then had the audacity to make it out like we were in the wrong for leaving- despite her telling us that we HAD to sit in the bar area, despite us telling her multiple times that there were no tables. We went in to a room with around 25 empty tables (only one couple sat in the entire seating area) after realising the bar area was full. As we walked in, we saw her and asked if we could sit in there as there were no tables in the bar area. She then said "you can't sit here, it's for people having food". Despite not asking what we wanted, she just presumed. We then told her we were looking to get some drinks and some chips/starters/sides to share. But she goes "well you'll have to eat them in the bar. It's for main meals only". We said again that there were no seats in the bar, and she kept repeating "well you can't sit here". Okay, so we will leave then... She became very angry and rude, raising her voice and giving us a horrible look "fine. Be like that. Leave if you want." I turned around and said- "well, what other choice do we have? There are no tables, and you've said we can't sir in here?!" She just shrugged her shoulders and gave us yet another dirty look. Saying we could sit in the bar. What part of 'there are no tables'didnt she get?! I spoke to the supervisor on the bar, who was much more approachable and I explained the situation- he just said that the rule came from the owners about the area being for main meals. I said that he maybe needs to feed this back to them as it makes no business sense. Also the bar girl has absolutely no customer service skills. Was very rude and left us feeling very uncomfortable and upset. It ruined my stepdads 60th Birthday. Please, do not go there. And if you do, avoid any interaction with the horrible girl behind the bar.

The Crown Hotel is a great pub I always look forward to visiting on any trip to Liverpool City Centre I take. A great looking pub, its externally what a pub should look like, warm and inviting, interior is superb, set over two floors, pubby decor and furnishings, a cool looking serving bar and lots of seating options spread throughout this pub, its just a must go pub for me. I ordered a guinness, poured in the correct manner even allowing time for the all important settle, I settled down and took in the great pub I was in while I sipped my guinness . Guinness served in this pub is superb, a thick, creamy and most importantly iced cold and bursting with taste and very easy to drink especially when served freezing cold as in this pub. I really enjoyed my guinness in here before I moved on and although my visit here was only fleeting as on every other visit to here I had a great pub experience. The Crown Hotel is easy to locate along Lime Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Saturday, open from 8am. Sunday, open from 10am. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

After getting off the train in Manchester before meeting other friends before a flight to Riga we called into this nice old traditional pub for a drink and a bite to eat in the centre of the city. I had the chicken and bacon club sandwich on baguette with chips at £9.50 with an alcoholic drink which was plentiful and delicious on this lunchtime special.

The Nabs is back on the map! Visited today for Sunday lunch and boy did it not disappoint. A warm friendly welcome with attentive staff, the place is spotlessly clean and the freshly cooked food is delicious. I had the prawn cocktail for starters and the roast beef dinner with a side of the best cauliflower cheese I’ve ever had. There was no room for pudding , well maybe a little taste of my husbands 😊 he had a sticky toffee pudding and ice cream which he said was absolutely lovely and very light which was perfect after a hearty meal. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Came here on a Thursday night to enjoy some food and a couple of drinks with friends in the newly extended beer garden. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and the beer garden is a great sun trap! We'll be back very soon. Thank you so much to the lovely bar staff member who, very generously, helped my unreliable friend out with our second round of drinks 🤣
