Faultless from start to finish. Lovely welcome and friendly service. Excellent menu and knowledge of allergens, very easy for Gluten Free diners to get delicious and safe food. Game Pudding was so packed full of meat and really tasty, and the Chicken Parmigiana was also superb. Big portions so youâll not go home hungry, worth forgoing a starter to indulge in some lovely desserts. Crumble and custard was superb. Brilliant all round, canât wait to return.

We had a pleasant lunch at The Btown Cow. The dining room was pleasant if a little dark, however its an old building so that's OK. Very pleasant young waiter. The menu is quite big and it's very varied, something for everyone. I had vegetarian Toad In The Hole, excellent , well presented and delicious. Husband chose the open beef sandwich, which unfortunately wasn't as good. The baguette was tough and the steak was "not the best". Our coffee at the end of the meal was really just froth!! However, it was clean and comfortable, a very pleasant young waiter and the loos were spotless.

A great place we stumbled on after the fireworks at the castle. The reedley hallows beer went down very very well. We had a nibbles selection amazing value at 4 small plates for ÂŁ20. I had lamb rump for main and my wife had ahicken Kiev which she thoroughly enjoyed. No room for a pud, hopefully next time. Very attentive service, great food and reasonably priced. Will defo return very soon.

Walked in after a 4 hour drive today, didn't know the place, never seen it before and just wanted a drink before driving again. The woman at the bar was super unhelpful and scowled at me the whole way through me ordering our drinks, for ÂŁ16.40 for two pints i would have expected at least friendly service. I get it I was not in suit but does that deserve to be scowled at and made to feel super unwelcome. We finished our drinks and got the hell out of there as quick as we could. Will never return and have already told my wealthier friends and family not to attend this place

We visited on a busy lunch time to our favorite place taking my brother and his wife Apart from the lovely setting by the river, this is an extremely well run pub/restaurant. The staff are sooo professional, friendly and attentive, nothing is too much trouble even when they are busy, water & treats for the doggies. We had steak sandwiches and fish and chips. The batter on the fish was like tempura batter it was sooo light and the fish was enormous. No small portions here! My brother and I had the steak sarnies.... Rump steak sandwich, Dijon tarragon mayonnaise, onions and fries - you must try them, so unbelievably tender!. I can be hyper critical when food is not up to scratch, but credit where credit is due, service and quality was faultless , thank you to the Aspinall Arms Crew x

We visited for lunch. The food was amazing and they catered for gluten free really well. The service, however, was appalling. With the exception of one waitress, who was very friendly and polite, the other waitresses in this establishment are very rude, unwelcoming, sullen and unhelpful, including the barrista behind the counter. None of them appear to be able to get a drink order right and the service was extremely slow. One dark haired, bespeckled waitress was particularly obnoxious and really should have a rethink about whether this type of job, where she has to deal with the public, is too much for her. Very disappointing. We won't be going again because of them, which is a pity as the food was excellent.

Disappointed with meal-chips were strange-not crispy at all, dark brown and bland!-asked for different veg with pie other than peas and was charged ÂŁ3.00 for the pleasure-even though I didnât have peas! ÂŁ1.50 for a small jug of gravy!-used to love your food but definitely gone worse!-plz go back to old menu !

We came to the traders on Saturday evening for food and drinks as a family and it was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we walked through the door to leaving late on, the service was second to none! A special mention to Chelsea and Kate who looked after us throughout and was very efficient, even though they were swamped (probably needed more staff if we was to be super critical) both polite, informative and very cheerful. The food was amazing, as a table we had chicken curry, gormet burgers, stroganoff, gammon and pizzas. All cooked beautifully and well presented! Thanks for a wonderful evening, we are looking forward to coming back.

We had a lovely fresh toastie and a delicious bacon barm with excellent coffee (latte and a flat white) - it was all soooooo nice! Lovely friendly and professional staff, from the easy and pleasant ordering experience (from a really delightful new member of staff - gr8 job!!), to top notch/quick service and VERY enjoyable eating :-) We highly recommended this cafe, and would like to thank everyone there for making it such a nice visit.
