Bakes custom made me a 30th Birthday cake box with various treats. This was during the COVID-19 lockdown so everything was done over social media messages. The service was excellent and of course was the cakes and biscuits. Would highly recommend.

Food was poor quality. Battered fish was greasy and oily. Chips burn’t. Vegetable portions.were too small. The garlic cheese bread was soggy not crispy how it should be. The vegan ice cream was horrid it was full of pure ice and colouring. Previously been here twice before and the food portions were excellent and the food tasted nice. Unfortunately this time was poor and won’t be coming again.

Unfortunately, not up to it's usual standard. One Sunday roast beef dinner and one lamb dinner. My husband couldn't chew the beef it was so tough. He did mention this when a staff member asked if everything had been alright. My lamb was tasteless. Probably stick with the usual evening/ lunch menu in the future, which we we usually have.

Great food, The cheeseburger with brisket was the best burger I've had. Great service from staff, all friendly. Will definitely come back.

I took my daughter and my grandson here for lunch today. My daughter ordered a cheese burger. I had gluten free fish and chips and my grandson had pizza and chips. The burger came without a bread roll, dry huge chips not french fries and a dried up fried egg. We asked where the bread was and we were told we would have to pay extra. That bread roll cost £2.50!! My gluten free fish and chips weren't any better. Massive chips again that were dry. The peas also were so dry that I had to leave them. I don't know what the batter was on the fish but it was an awful disgusting rubbery substance. The fish was dry and tasteless. My grandsons pizza was a basic small one and just came with chips. The table was sticky and hadn't been cleaned properly. That experience cost me £38. Suffice it to say I will not be eating there again.

Place looks really nice but it was really cold inside.Turn up at 1 o'clock wasn't busy thought we would be served quickly. We sat for 20 minutes no one came to take our order got up and left.so can't really comment on the food but service was really bad.

Fantastic old-worldly pub in an amazing setting. The steak pie was thick, meaty and absolutely spot on and the gravy, wow. Keeping simple is sometimes the best recipe! Lovely little spot with homemade food at a reasonable price. Would highly recommend.

We stayed at the Diggle Hotel while hiking the Pennine Way, and it truly was one of the highlights of our trip. The owners are some of the kindest and most genuine people we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Their warmth, hospitality, and care made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The hotel itself is cozy, full of charm, and the perfect place to rest after a long day on the trail. We can’t recommend the Diggle Hotel highly enough — it’s not just a place to stay, it’s an experience we’ll always remember. Thank you for making our time there so special!

We were going to sit outside and order but Emma found us a seat inside- we felt very welcomed. Service was good and we really enjoyed our breakfast sandwiches. There was also a bowl of water delivered for the dogs which was a nice touch. We very much enjoyed it.

Great food and drinks with lovely service. Its a little pricey but worth it. The Japanese tea was lovey with very quirky tea pots. There was looses tea on sale too ... wish I'd bought some, but its a good excuse for a return visit.

Disappointed. Venue in stunning setting. Returned after not having been for several years. Lights need turning down and fires need lighting, no atmosphere. Food average nothing to write home about. Felt more like a hillside cafe than a cosy pub. Needs chairs and tables renovating. Will not back.
