Bakes custom made me a 30th Birthday cake box with various treats. This was during the COVID-19 lockdown so everything was done over social media messages. The service was excellent and of course was the cakes and biscuits. Would highly recommend.

Visited the Bakes shop located at Grandpa Greenes on several occasions already as it is the best place ever for Brownies, stuffed cookies and cupcakes. So lucky to have this gem on our doorstep. We have pretty much tried everything and we can't fault anything. So friendly, attentive and delicious. There is always something new on offer so its just another reason to want to return. They also do occasion cakes so we have ordered a Christening cake for next year after seeing their Instagram page as they look amazing. Thanks again and keep up the good work. We will be back soon

The absolute best tasty treats!! Incredible cookies, brownies and cupcakes! Every order has been perfection! Bakes shop at Grandpa Greene’s in Diggle is a must visit! Would highly recommend!

The best brownies, cakes and cookies! I’ve ordered a few times and I couldn’t ask for a better service! Postal brownies and cookies stay lovely and fresh and so gooey!! Great for birthdays and parties or the perfect pick me up! Highly recommend.

436 Huddersfield RoadCharged 8 pounds 20 for meat and potato pie, chips, peas and gravy. the peas were like bullets and there was very little gravy. Shame because I have usually found the food good here.

4 Delph RoadWe called in on spec and we're given the last available table. Waited 10 minutes before waitress took our orders. 45 minutes later we were still waiting for our food. We called a waitress and the owner/manager came over. Her attitude was disgraceful. Rude and aggressive. We were informed that they were busy and the food would be served when it was ready as it was all made fresh. Answer to that is get more staff. Her lasting most annoying statement was that as we were walk-ins and had not booked what did we expect. I challenged her on this statement and she backed down on this. She did eventually go and check on the foods progress. We were told it was being plated up and would be out soon. Back to fresh cooked food, the why was my steak and onion sandwich cold? Not only that but the salad was swimming in a awful salad dressing. None of us enjoyed our meal which to call it mediocre would be a gross understatement. Will most certainly never go back to this establishment.
