The best restaurants serving British food in Oldham North West

Bakes custom made me a 30th Birthday cake box with various treats. This was during the COVID-19 lockdown so everything was done over social media messages. The service was excellent and of course was the cakes and biscuits. Would highly recommend.

It was a complete surprise from our son & his partner. The presentation was really attractive and the sealed tray kept everything fresh. We will definitely be recommending this service to family and friends.

Charged 8 pounds 20 for meat and potato pie, chips, peas and gravy. the peas were like bullets and there was very little gravy. Shame because I have usually found the food good here.

We love it very local. Dogs welcome. Great stop for walkers. Recommend booking for food on weekends as its very popular. Won't be disappointed always bang on here!

Went here last night for a special occasion family meal. Everything was brilliant, food was lovely and we were really looked after. Excellent experience and will definitely be returning.

Just dropped in for a drink, the food menu looks good so will have to come back again.Good selection of drinks and it felt very cosy.Will return in the summer for drinks on the terrace.

Unfortunately, not up to it's usual standard. One Sunday roast beef dinner and one lamb dinner. My husband couldn't chew the beef it was so tough. He did mention this when a staff member asked if everything had been alright. My lamb was tasteless. Probably stick with the usual evening/ lunch menu in the future, which we we usually have.

Not haut cuisine but good enough, worth a regular visit

We have just come back from having afternoon tea here today and I cannot thank Val enough. We received a warm welcome, the food was amazing and I am gluten free and felt completely in safe hands with lovely food. Val provide food and gifts for my grandchildren and our friends grandchildren and nothing was too much for her. We are planning a return visit soon, next time child free and with Prosecco-thank you Val for your attentive and caring service.

We had food here throughout our stay at smokies hotel and it was so yummy with very generous portions!! Staff were lovely too thank you

We visited here to attend one of the Christmas parties and what an experience! The staff were amazing, the party was so well organised and there was so much to do for the price. Would highly recommend!!!

Really lovely staff who can't do enough to help. I have only bought cake and drinks, but i haven't heard anything negative about this cafe.
