Great little bar to visit for a drink in chester. Reasonable prices, great selection of drinks. Well worth a visit.

I was treating a friend to an overnight stay near Chester with the first day being spent on a shopping spree in the city, something that was long overdue thanks to the covid lockdown. I tried to find somewhere a little different for us to eat that lunchtime as the restaurant we would normally use had sadly closed permanently. We found this a rather unusual place and opted for the tapas style small plates. With hindsight, we should have ordered less than we did as the portions were larger than expected. The decor was a little odd and not particularly to my taste. The service was fairly attentive without being over the top and as far as we could tell, all covid guidelines were followed.

Not an irish bar by any chance, 80,s music and student karaoke. Should be ashamed to class itself an irish pub.

Surely the attraction about going to a bar that was previously a church is being able to sit in the bar and take in the church surroundings and the beautiful building? No. Went in twice on a Sunday and was directed to the outdoor terrace both times. Strange.

terrible steak!!! I asked for medium well. They served me PTSD from my Eastern European childhood. Pretty sure this cow spent its last hours soaking in borscht, not sizzling on a grill.My mate ordered chicken it wasn’t as terrible as the cow, but if I choose between this place and spoons I would go to spoons or maccies, but definitely not this restaurant. Also they gave my mate a slice of orange in the glass but not to me. What a discrimination, unbelievable…

Amazing food and good service by staff from Receptionist, bar staff and waiting on staff but especially to Elizabeth as she was so lovely and very helpful to us all. She couldn’t do enough.

Went there for my 60th birthday weekend. Brilliantly run by Tasha and staff. Great vibe and cheap drinks. All weekend the staff were efficient and friendly. Definitely go back.

Just popped in as pitstop on wall walk. Very nice looking establishment.

It was absolutely amazing! I came yesterday for my birthday and everyone was so lovely and cheerful would definitely recommend the bottomless brunch! And also big shout out to Alexander for being our waiter he always made sure we had a drink
