Great place to take a new friend . Cuisine probably the best in Cheshire, Great Ambience, excellent & correct service, friendly but not familiar nor intrusive. Cold do with better signage to restaurant car parking

The best place to eat, by far! Kyle, Holly and team always go above and beyond! Nothing is too much trouble! The food is always excellent (well above) hats of to the chef! The staff are always very pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable! Would 100% recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Visiting Chester for the weekend and The Faulkner was one of the first pubs we noticed. The menu sounded great so we decided to give it a try. Staff were all very friendly on arrrival and service was very good. We shared some starter dishes and were all very impressed. Would definitely recommend

The hotel is currently being refurbished and the restaurant is now closed until further notice. When we looked on the website this was not mentioned so we had a wasted trip

Our daughter got married here on the 1st of August what a beautiful beautiful wedding venue we were so lucky with the weather everything was perfect. The food was amazing and Mark was absolutely brilliant throughout the whole wedding planning process and on the day. Thank you thank you it was amazing!

We came for dinner and service was brilliant! We were served straight away for drinks. The wait for food wasn’t too long and all super tasty! All staff were friendly and helpful nothing was too much. We will be back 😁

We hired the loft at commonhall social for a 30th birthday celebration and couldn’t recommend it enough. Amazing fab, great staff and brilliant atmosphere. We will be booking again!

Poor quality, dry and overcooked fish and chips meal Chaotic and forgetful service, however, lovely friendly and obliging staff.

We went here for food as the brewers fayre is closed for refurbishments at the premier inn we were staying at. The food was terrible, if it wasn't for us being starving after a full day at Chester zoo we wouldn't have eaten it. Wasn't expecting top of the notch food for the price but was definitely expecting much better than what was served. Everything looks to have come out the same deep fat fryer which seemed could do with a oil change, one of my children's starters was veg sticks which were so dry and looked like they'd been prepped the week before, the others a "garlic bread starter" was two slices off a cheap garlic baguette. The staff were lovely and the place was clean so probably a great place for a drink, just wouldn't return again food.

The staff are welcoming, super friendly - the food was really nice. I was annoyed I didn’t have my phone on me to take photos but I had the rump steak (medium rare) and it was cooked to perfection. My mum had Lincolnshire sausages and mash which she said was lovely and really tasty. We both had dessert, I had the cheesecake and my mum had Baileys Crème Brûlée. Cheesecake was nice, my mum said the Crème Brûlée was really nice but too sweet but everyone has a different sweet tooth. I would highly recommend this restaurant, you won’t be disappointed (hopefully).

We had our daughters 21st Birthday on the top floor of the bar. It’s a great space with its own bar. To hire it it includes staffing the bar (£150). The staff are all friendly and helpful. We were allowed to decorate it the way we wanted to and bring our own food. My daughter could play here own Spotify play list. The tv screens played MTV in the background to add some atmosphere. I would recommend this place to celebrate any special occasion.
