Waiter excellent. Food better. One of the most flavoursome breakfasts I’ve ever had. Cortado very good. Would be nice to sit outside (if weather was nicer).

Best Vegan Dish Ever I went to the Chester food market for the first time today, I love trying new vegan foods although I am flexitarian, so reading through the menu chose the award winning doner wrap. Well I was blown away the combination of flavours was amazing, juicy meat substitute with vibrant zingy red cabbage beautiful balance sauces, and lovely crunchy onions, I will definitely going for a fix of this again. Highly recommend

How has The Vines not got a Michelin star?The food is beyond delightful and the table service is so good. We had the Taster menu and it is wonderful and delicious. The chefs clearly love what they produce and the restaurant staff are utmost professionals but friendly and engaging with their diners. I would definitely if you like fine dining book a table here.

Went there to have hair cut, i am so satisfied with Jade’s work. She’s so friendly she knows what she’s doing ❤️. Service is really good. And prices are absolutely fair.

Friendly local bar serving fine wine local beers, ciders and ales and guest beers and ales from around the U.K. excellent gin selection and Whiskeys too. Quiz night on Tuesday! Great for meeting friends and used often by cycling groups as they pass through! Opened in July/August 2022 and has served the community well. Dog friendly and children too. Recent addition is some Cheshire farm ice cream which is a favourite for the children during the hot weather. Well worth popping in for a pint of three and for the wine drinkers there is a good selection of fine wines.

Food quality is good and tasty. Excellent! Tried here for the first time and wasn't disappointed. Kebabs were fresh and delicious. Burgers tasy too. Highly recommended 👌

I love the coffee at the jaunty goat, but they had no pastries so we went over the road to the bakery,so glad we did we hasmd the rose and pistachio croissant filled with lots of raspberry jam absolutely gorgeous Great friendly service and once again best coffee ever. We sat outside seating is limited

Order was confirmed at 10pm. Didn’t arrive until 11:30pm. It was cold. Chips were hard. I was that hungry I had no choice to eat it but sadly really poor.

We had the cheese and spinach pie. Very tasty!

Excellent food. Initsly service was good, seated quickly. Waiyer was very miserable. Orders taken and drinks arrived quick. About 20 min wait for starters but it was busy so understandable. After that warm palates came out after 20 mins but no mains. After an hour and chasing up we got our mains. Pretty sure they forgot about us. There shouldn't be a 1hr gap from starter to main. Shame it spoilt the night and made us late for our evening event , as the food was very good. Venue was nicely decorated and had a good atmosphere just let down by the service

The food was amazing and the staff were lovely and friendly. I would definitely recommend and will be going there again.

A gem of a little pub. Highly recommended 👌

The Cornerhouse on City road is a brilliant pub that offer an excellent range of drink's and cheese and charcuterie's and this pub host quiz nights and live music.This brilliant pub is set in a mock-tudor building and this building looks amazing. This pub has a stripped-back interior thats got many interesting fixture's and feature's and superb seating options throughout it's whole interior and brilliant staff. On and off over the years we've visited this brilliant pub many times when this pub was called the Chester Hangman and then the Compass and it's still a great pub to visit if your in Chester. We went to here on our 2nd day in Chester and on our visit to this brilliant pub we had a few cask ales.The cask ales are fantastic in here and when we visited here we had a few glasses of Salopian brewery beers that were perfectly served and well priced. It's a superb pub that's located in a superb area of Chester and its a pub that is worth visiting if your around this area. (This is my 2nd review of the Cornerhouse). Opening Hours. We visited to celebrate a family birthday. The staff were attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and the cost overall was very reasonable! We will definitely visit again
